I can see that for sure. He can press it. I wish my son would say I don’t want to go, but I will if I have too.”

How do you force a court order?

What do you want him to do physically pick them up and put them in the car? I’m in the same boat and unless the ex is actively encouraging them to go, you got no shot. Play the long game. Go to events that you can just show up at. They will know that you are there. Text them a short quick message saying you love them multiple times a week. You’re not alone bro. I see you.

I went through the same thing. I dreaded pick up. I played the long game and through various court dealings I now get to pick up my kids from school and drop off st the police station. You need to set up a process for this asap. Have her sitting in the vestibule of the police lobby. Let her walk in with the kids before you get out of your car. You can do this vice versa. Do the opposite for drop off. The police don’t get involved in this. But the presence may dissuade her from the non sense.

Play the long game now. Her crazy will show. Never interrupt your enemy while he is making a mistake-Napoleon

Going through something very similar. Play the long game. The court, cps, cops aren’t going to do anything. Your msa and any other document are essentially written on toilet paper with a crayon(unless it’s child support, somehow the ex always gets there money). I live by this quote from Napoleon. Never get in the way of your enemy while they are making a mistake. Hang in there. You are one of many who has and will get through this.

It’s good to recognize and process these feelings. I feel this to my core bro. You’re not alone. Lean on your gf and be a bad ass dad to your daughters

The tide has definitely turned for me. I now live by “don’t get in the way of your enemy while they are making a mistake”. Just need more time with the kids

Sorry to hear that bro. I feel the same. It’s just not enough. Hopefully once they are in there teens they will have a little more say in how often they see you

Yep, my daughter comes with greasy and dirty hair every time. Then the ex on her facetime(court ordered but they never answer for me) has the nerve to make sure to say to take a bath. It’s sad

I’m trying to get drop off at school so I don’t see the ex at all ever. Have a RO case next month and I’m going to be offering that as a solution for me to drop the RO to the judge I have her for spring break in April. Hope you had a great week and easy drop off tomorrow bro

As I say “The MSA is written on toilet paper by crayon”. It means nothing.

I’d be interested in almost being a big brother to someone recently going through it. A guide of what to do and mostly what not to do

I’ve never been inclined to volunteer my time for anything. Supporting other men through divorce is something I’d want to get involved in. Not sure where to start

Took me close to 5 years. Went through the same nonsense with a bunch of BS sprinkled in. It will end.

Focus on yourself. You have grown kids so at least custody is not an issue. For your daughter who lived with you put a ton of effort to establish a relationship with her outside of you and her mom. Is moving closer to your other Children an option?

I had a good run on fb dating. Click on a photo, not the profile picture, a secondary one. Send this exact message “Hey insert name, I’m insert name, I came across your profile. You are super cute!!!!!” Set your filters. Start at 1 mile away and go through it. Then 2, 3….. Set your age range for every 5 years. 21-26, 27-32….I found messing with different combinations in in the filters brought me to different profiles Good luck bro.

Speaking personally I couldn’t enjoy my children the way I wanted to while married to her

I feel this. I always felt and eventually told my ex that all the women in her family including her got married to procreate. Once they got what they wanted they treated there husbands like garbage. I was lucky to get out. The other Nancy’s are still suffering

Take it as it comes. Let everything come to you. I hate using cliches but in this case they work. Also responsibly hook up with as many woman your schedule allows, without affecting the rest of your life. Time to live a little

Came here to say this. Best thing that ever happened to me and my kids was picking them up directly from school
