However a look is not consent.

My argument is if he requires submission and he has to hit people to get it then he has no more authority than a three year old. This is how they do things.

This is what men who are insecure do. There is no excuse for hitting another adult.

No one in their right mind consents to being hit?

Hitting another person is not ok. Men hitting women are cowards to say the least. If anything we need to teach women to fight back and leave assholes that hit them. Women are not children; that is why they're called women. Refering to all women as children is insulting. Men who cannot feel good about themselves without hitting are behaving very child like though.

I agree that generalizing is unfair, but I think this kind of thing happens a lot.

That is the message of the ad. The ad does not say Women are perfect or that women have never thrown babies in dumpsters. It doesn't say that. There things happening every day that are much more horrible than babies in dumpsters, but those things are not addressed by the ad because that is not what the ad is about.

You are going through a lot of trouble to state that you feel like we should not tell boys to respect girls.

Rape is any sexual assault that happens without consent.

You don't know me at all. You don't know anything of my own conduct or how it relates to anything. Its ok though, to disagree, and I appreciate your opinions.

If you want to protest, go protest. I don't know any "feminists" who behave the way you talk about. rape is rape and it is bad no matter who is doing it to someone. Supporting a movement against men behaving badly does not equal anti-support for mens issues. These two things are not linked like that. They are both great issues.

I could care less about votes. I am not berating anyone. That's what feminism is about. Not berating anyone.

I do not believe it is detached from reality to want people to treat each other equally.

Ok I see what you mean. I took the message today as more of a message that boys and men should do their best to be the best boys and men they can be. The message is one sided in that it's about the boys and men, but that doesn't mean women and girls should not do the same in my opinion. Everyone needs to do their best and work together would be a better message.

I apologize I thought this was a discussion and I could ask questions. I don't have a problem if you disagree with me, that is how discussions work. Sorry to bother you.

I am not feeling threatened. I do not base my internal narrative around anything I see in the media. The genitals between the legs of the person who directed the video are irrelevant. It is fine with me if you disagree with me. I am stating my opinion, and you should share yours also. That is what this is about this whole reddit thing is here for; Its ok to disagree.

What part of this is the bad part: 1. Girls are great the way they are. 2. Boys, don't shame them. 3. Girls, don't be ashamed. I really am not seeing the negative message here. Are you supporting the opposite of these statements? I am sorry if you are feeling that you have been shamed. That is terrible.

First let's take a look at what feminism is: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feminism

I am not asking for recognition from anyone. I am just asking what war you are talking about.

I don't know what war you are talking about. This ad is not a war on men. It is a video about men helping each other. What is the threat?

Feminists have no fucking idea about boys, it's absolutely terrifying that these cunts are the ones still being given the reins over this shit. There are some angry women out there, but that is not feminism. I think you ought to look up the definition of feminism.

Why do companies think that it is a good idea to piss off the people whom buy their products in order to pander to those who do not? That's funny, because I can't stand their products, but this is a great ad. Also in your suggestion that they are pissing off 'people who buy their products' are you suggesting only men do? They make razors for everyone and they are suggesting men do a better job of being men.

I must have missed the part in that ad where men are portrayed as evil. I just don't see that in there.

I'm confused, so toxic masculinity is ok and we need more of it? Masculinity is great, but we need less of toxic people everywhere, including the toxic people who are masculine.

I don't see this ad, where is this?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
