Interesting that they focus on her mental health issues, seeing or being abused in childhood, yet mental health care was not ordered or even mentioned by the courts.

Well yeah it's easier, less vulnerable & more socially aceptable for a man to say he enjoys great sex. Rather than the truth that she has emotionally manipulated him over time, eroded his confidence, gaslit him so he can't even tell what is normal anymore, believes her derogatory comments & is genuinly scared of what would happen if he left her.

What's special about people like this is that they are charismatic, great at manipulation & know how far they can push their victim. They are great at reading people & communicating in a way to convince others they are better than they are. If course they don't use these skill to help people but instead take out their fustration a on a completely innocent party & enjoy feeling in control of somone else's life; in some cases ending it.

If they do it a third time I can do whatever I want to them because they started it. I was patient & attempted peace but then whatever happened was their fault as I gave them prior warning. My mum still laughs when she recounts an incident from my childhood where I stood up for myself: I was in a child's gymna…

I just want to add that sometimes when someone is not working, is unreliable out of the house & makes up physical problems, they actually have an emotional problem they are ashamed & embarssed about sharing. So your MIL may have anxiety or something restricting her functioning. This can also make them quite set in their ways & scared of change. The person's SO often covers this problem up or trivialises it's impact. I can see how fustrating it must be seeing them worry about money but make poor …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
