Hang on, haven't there been a host of studies out relatively recently that say when paid and unpaid work is combined men and women work nearly identical amounts? I'll have to go back and confirm that.

People try to over think this stuff. Most of those guys just lack confidence. They aren't worried about "imposing themselves" and they aren't worried "measuring up to Chad". They are worried about looking foolish and/or being embarrassed, overly so. Its like back when you played ball. Some guys were so worried about striking out that they wouldn't even swing at good pitches to hit.

Both toxic masculinity and toxic femininity are bullshit terms used to try and cast shitty behavior as occurring from only one subset. Shit people do shit things, the end.

There are times I feel like about 50% of the people who post here never actually go outside.

I mean, I believe it when you are a teen and even a very young adult. Once you are a grown ass man though you should be well past that.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/18 05:58 PM

Who are these guys that supposedly worry all the time about if a partner's past lovers might be better in bed? If it bothers you that much then up your game but almost no one worries about that shit once you get past your teens.

Yes, but I also like smart women, ambitious women, athletic women, geeky women etc. Turns out I just like women.

The average man and woman is overweight. There's plenty of chub to go around.

Wild wolves have those hierarchies, they are just misrepresented here all the time. Alpha wolves are monogamous. If a guy wants to chase ass then chase ass. Just don't try to wrap it in some BS quasi-philosophy/mysticism, that never applied to them to begin with.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/18 02:49 PM
3

First of all the Alpha/Beta labels are bullshit and it makes it hard to take people seriously who use them. Secondly, wolves, who's pack hierarchy this is all this stolen from are generally monogamous so if men are supposedly just like wolves in our behavior then monogamy should be our natural state.

Pretty much every man has been taught the following are rape and have been taught so for a fairly long time. "Have you ever coerced somebody to intercourse by holding them down?", "Have you ever had sexual intercourse with someone who did not want you to because they were too intoxicated to resist?" or "Have you ever had intercourse with someone by force or threat of force?" even though these legally count as rape. Some people are just bad and no amount of teaching is going to change that.

This, its the perfect lampooning of the entire incel bullshit. The only therapy they need is to stop sucking at life so much.

Examples are literally everywhere. See here's the thing, I grew up as a boy in single parent household and I had coaches, relatives, teachers etc to help me so I have experience with what I'm talking about. Also grew up poor, so when I left school, I joined the Marines to pay for college. That was another thing where loads of men showed me what being a man was and being a man wasn't. I served my country, got advanced degrees, and now have a good life in a good home. In part because I had so very…

No man can make a boy a man either, that's up to the boy/man on his own. I suspect you aren't male in which case your own logic suggests your opinion on the subject is worthless. I'm also going to need a citation on anything you call factual.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/17 07:10 PM
1

See what you did there is called hyperbole. You took a factual statement. Then blew it all out of proportion arguing against a point that wasn't being discussed. Your previous statement said there was no one teach the children of single moms how to be men and I posted a number of them. The fact that you don't like being wrong isn't an excuse to fall back on silly hyperbole.

Coaches? Teachers? Mentors? I started school at 5 and had all three in school and that's early childhood.

I think people have at times confused lazy with weaker physically which is a thing that is happening. Men are getting, in general, physically weaker due to a lot of reasons among which are fewer physically demanding jobs, much higher rates of obesity, less emphasis on physical education, and a shifting of what is desired physically towards the very slender.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/17 01:57 PM
1

It happens more frequently that many would think but I don't think that you can call it common. Its just another facet of the fact than when people put aside their preconceived notions about X they often find commonalities.

I pretty much roll my eyes and most goofy things. That would be included in goofy. That sentence made me picture a sixteen year old kid staring at his non-existent abs in the gym mirror and proclaiming "can't tame this beast." while never going near the squat rack.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/17 02:14 PM
3

"Why do women think they can tame the wild beast and make him a provider?" I rolled my eyes so hard at this that I nearly knocked myself unconscious. Setting aside the ridiculous framing of the sentence, there's nothing especially "Alpha" about being an irresponsible dumbass.

That is bisexuality for people unwilling to say they are bi. Their unwillingness to admit it does not make them straight.

Its way with just about the entirety of the immigration discussion anywhere. Logically, most Western nations benefit from immigration while at the same time no nation can take endless numbers of immigrants either. But the immigration discussion is nearly always framed as you are either an endless immigration liberal or a zero immigration conservative. People love hyperbole.

Very easily. I have a large number of long term friends of both genders. Also the friendzone is based on the childish notion that you have to desire to have sex with anyone you find the least bit attractive. Just like you don't have to eat every doughnut or drink every beer you don't have to try and have sex with every person in the world. Sometimes its okay to "You rock as a friend." but pass on anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/17 02:23 PM

I'll take a pass on that. It just seems like a rather odd statement to say. Particularly sense handsome/ugly is thing that's sensed from the perspective of the viewer.

Pretty women don't have low self esteem, some pretty women have low self esteem. Just like some ugly women do and some don't. Just like some good looking guys do and some don't etc etc. People are surprisingly complex.

Thee are a boat load of assumptions there. First there are a lot of industries dedicated to things most people can do well but that some people, for whatever reasons, still fuck up. In a world of billions of people most can be doing fine and that still leaves a of of people with social issues. Those two things are not mutually exclusive. "why is there an epidemic of impotence and other sexual dysfunction among young(er) men caused by excessive porn consumption?"- Men's testosterone levels have b…

I think you wildly overestimate the attractiveness of those guys, particularly #2, and most of them took those pics in the very best lighting ie their bathrooms. Its like when women take selfies at a downward angle to hid flaws. I also think you badly underestimate how socially successful most people are. Again some people, of both genders, are just all around unappealing but most people have enough going for them that, baring wildly unreasonable expectations, to have an active social and sex li…

ROFL, I'm a dude and, I think, a fair bit older than you. You'll note I said most "people", not just men, can hook up whenever they want. There's even a term for it, hook up culture. Seriously, sex is everywhere. It might not be the sex you want but its there.

I said normal in my first reply, for their age ranges they are normal. Few people would notice them walking down a street or bat an eye if they came to a party. Most people can go to a party and take someone home, male or female, depending on how picky their standards are. That's normal in that range too for a lot of people. I work at University and I see people like this all the time.

Went back and looked and I stand by my assertation with one caveat. The last dude is leaner than most for his age but average otherwise. The second dude looks like your average high school kid even though I'm pretty sure he's older. The rest look like your average guy in his 20's who spends a little time in the gym and watches what they eat.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/17 01:57 PM

To really know how attractive they are I'm going to need to see a CV. Having your shit together is very attractive and effects how I view physical attractiveness.

The issue with using bf% is that while some people will look good at higherish bf% numbers many more will not. So those women at 25% might not look bad but many would. The same for men. Some guys might look good at 20% bf but most wouldn't. Again mileage also varies by the viewers likes and dislikes.

These guys went from fat to pretty much normal. I suspect women who saw it happen were impressed by the work put in.

Sex, and relationships, are everywhere. For the vast majority of men these things are easy to find by not being a complete A-hole. That they somehow aren't is one of the views I just can't understand. Its like the people that somehow don't get over eating makes you fat; Just completely divorced from the world they live in.

You can judge the advice giver. If someone gives you advice and they are a trainwreck then you certainly can value it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/17 11:59 AM
1

People wrongly believe that physical appearances cannot be changed but "intelligence" can be earned by education and other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/05/17 06:43 PM
1

Honestly I think people overvalue the advice they give. For example, a person might ask a group of people their opinion on a subject but they will value the differing responses based on their opinion of a subject. So while a person might think their advice got ignored it could just be that their advice was considered and found to be of no value.

Don't fake how into me you are or aren't but don't hide it either. be as honest as you possibly can.

Some people over complicate everything. Want a happy life? Have your shit together. Have friends who have their shit together. Date/marry people who have their shit together. No one ever needs anyone, they only do or do not want them. Also sex is everywhere. Its nearly as easy to acquire as milk. Focus on finding good people. That's more problematic.
