No one should be sacrificed to anything. Good societal practice should be encouraged and celebrated and displayed in art. But then people are gonna be awful and shaming non conformed but that is eternal and constant.

At this point it's mostly foreshadowing. I don't know any men who want to reproduce with someone they don't love. But its mostly an observation of a coming apocalypse. And I am not understating this. Your refusal to understand severity, per capita, and basic market forces isn't going to prevent the actual end of modern civilization, and the subsequent return to barbarity.

Well sure but men who get no sex, but don't want sex with strangers and don't complain about their reality, we are left alone. When the real cruelty of others is they expect us to accept never finding love and just act as tax humps until we crumble and decay into goo I guess. The reality is that average men are not being given the opportunities to meet people for relationships AT ALL. Who cares about sex, especially early on. If the average man is going to get 1-2 serious opportunities, then rom…

I agree with you. Especially if the guy is an unknown quantity. It's a really bad idea to just fuck with random strangers (especially men) for this reason, because if you do it enough you are going to eventually lose the dice roll and discover a psycho. But men get so resentful about this stuff, its like a random is springing on a woman the opportunity for her to emotionally mess with him. Women often retaliate or just act toxic and horrible through social avenues though, which is more difficult…

That must feel awful, but you might just be bouncing off of men who only want to sleep with people they are in committed relationships with. The % of men who will just hook up with anyone is much lower than media suggests. Its like 15% based on my estimate. People are generally becoming very anti-romantic, and meaner so I wouldn't internalize things too much.

Nah. Have you not seen that kinda scenario with the genders reversed and the guy just stringing that kinda woman along eating her time up? Might be bait though.

I agree with your take but I think you are being kinda harsh. People are self deluded and its very difficult / painful / crushing to acknowledge the gap between our ideal self and our current self. I forget which author said: "True hell is meeting the person you could have been with perfect effort, execution and a little luck." Plus peeps is kinda stupid.

None of it was sarcastic. Theres no reason to marry beside vibes harmony character and love. But im an artist so we are notoriously like this.

No. I blame myself for not being good enough and also choosing badly. Please don't treat a one on one reply chain as both of us broadly representing 50% of humans or broadly representing each side.

In Macro it often seems like a lot of what's shitty about us as a species is we will find an organizational structure / incentive structure / hierarchy which is highly unpleasant for most of us to exist in, but out competes its peers, creating a race to the bottom. I worry about successful or resilient digital authoritarian societies, because what if that's just a good long lasting structure? And modern peasants who never got liberated missed their chance to revolutionize their society when all …

People should date based on vibes, long term partnership, and true love. Who cares if all these men who want tons of sex from beauties, or women who want money, fail in their relationships? What is there to mourn when they fail? They aren't getting empty validation, material comfort, hedonistic outlets, and ultimately relationships based on transactions and checklists?

I think a guy NOW only gets a serious shot at forming a relationship 2-3 times in their life. It's pretty easy to fuck up those chances or just bounce off of 2-3 sucky people. But you aren't ready for that conversation. Its not like every guy gets 100 chances and you can give him an accurate sample.

Men contribute less to DNA anyways since several key mechanisms are solely passed on matrimonial lines mitochondria blueprints for example. Also remember humans are born with roughly 20 women for every 21 men.

And development of records tbf. ALSO TBF once humans started settling down you had to establish clear boundaries as to who was who's child and the excess energy created a more stratified society. There's good reasons patriarchal societies wiped out virtually all other models. You had to raise armies. You had to spend lives getting minerals in miserable mines (slaves). Probably not having birth control legitimately acted as a governor on what women could achieve as specialist laborers, and all th…

Some of the oldest stories in history are love stories actually. I think you mean it wasn't common or expected to marry for love. Most people were peasants, and some men and most women got paired up with the people in their immediate area and also their age and usually who they were sweet on. I think you are viewing history through a pretty heavy aristocratic bias.

I dunno. I don't think it's about authenticity either. I just think its about being successful (rich). Like, everything had to be paired with being relatively loaded. Women want someone confident and authentic who is wealthy. Otherwise... Men will do this too, come up with a hundred complex ways to disguise that they just want someone hot. Women will go on about how they want someone ambitious and how they want to travel. Its all code for monetary success. I know lots of guys who are ambitious a…

The problem with 4b and cutting men out is they are trading an opportunity for real spiritual connection and meaning for more empty materialism and consumerism (like travel). You can only cease suffering by eliminat8ng desire from your heart. But otherwise thier quest for self contentment is wise. Robot GF is coming. Artificial wombs too but not in time for us.

I dunno Im single as hell 36, lonely, unsuccessful, back down to a tiny rental room, poor, and desperately hoping to meet true love. But Im also a Buddhist, and since really committing all my time to art my video game and meditation, I feel like my life is getting better.

I broadly agree except for the part where you argue that this is a pursuit for beautiful women. You shouldn't attach such value to people and instead look for true love. If women in other cultures will just give you a chance maybe the one is part of another culture.

Well let me suggest you factor in one more variable: Men are just MUCH more likely to be insane than women. Now I mean this as neither a compliment or insult. Most madness is not useful, but some people are both smart AND insane in a useful way. These people are the true geniuses and they are almost entirely men, who happened to roll extremely well dice genetically. The real trifecta is: GENIUS INTELLECT - SOMEWHAT MAD - RICH FAMILY, and these are the people who legitimately move science and art…

Men are naturally smarter. And dumber. Thats how curves work.

Men outnumber women. 21 men are born for every 20 women. Slightly higher obligate homosexuality in men, and the fact men die more evens out the scales after 40 y/o. But that's past the time it would have mattered to start a family.

Okay that is not a great example. You can still actually meet people at concerts, and your approach was that you like his video game shirt? That is a signal for sure. Certainly he should have been mildly disappointed not mad.

"Look at ancient Roma and Greece." Okay buddy, most people, mostly anywhere, spent all their time carrying water, and moving dirt. They also genuinely loved their families. Most of your screed is also modernist naval gazing from a chudly perspective.

"Accept you won't have a family of your own." Is what dating single moms or old women is. Or at least "Dump resources on some other dudes kid." It isn't really an option for a lot people who's key isnt being alone but having no future.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 04:21 AM

Oh shit. No, healthy people in healthy relationships are not allowed in this sub. You guys can just pull this "double check with the person I love" move and suplex all our maladaptive nonsense. Remove thyself.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 04:11 AM

"Its pretty much over for you." People change jobs. Move to new cities. Move to new nations even and land.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/06/26 04:02 AM

Wow the hard data collapses before your anecdotal experience. I live in rural/suburban wealthy area as a poor person. You would never know there's a matchmaking crisis. When I was back in the city holy shit things were bad.

I agree. I think the Manosphere will wither as it simply cannot produce results for the people who get sucked into it. It also isn't catchy anymore. "Women are ALL bitches and ALL hoes and only want men for their utility and money." had a LOT of punch WHEN they started saying it, which was when we were deeper into a culture of "women are wonderful". But it doesn't align with reality. A plurality of women are bitches. I think a majority of women are mostly attracted to money and utility. You'll s…

Yes people have shit unfairly projected upon them. Try not to be someone who is projecting bullshit on others. That's all half the (totally real people) in this sub do though for their 'debating'. Its exaggeration, strawman, generalizations, and projection. You should just call out when people are projecting past injustice on you.

Trying to downplay Europe advancing so far so quickly is a_historic and childish. Plus it downplays how they proceeded to dominate every other culture for centuries, which is what I assume you are still seething about.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/06/26 02:31 AM

Probably not. The mimetics don't feel right for women to do very serious self criticism and try to construct constraints for their inner evils. Which are two hallmarks of enlightenment self reflection. Plus women aren't so different from men, so they benefit almost equally from all past male philosophy. Just like men will benefit almost equally from goated female philosophers. Finally almost all the genius and combined (hopefully useful) madness is locked up in males.

It's not just a woman thing. There are real romantics. Just don't settle for someone who applies a 'value' to other people. Most importantly, we can only truly control whether we are givers, and romantics, ourselves. We have the ability to try and harmonize with others and not logically 'value' them, while keeping ourselves open to the reality that our true love might be wildly outside our preferences and expectations. People here are trying to rationalize something that is inherently irrational…

Yah but most women and men are largely unempathetic, unmotivated, pointless, boring and uncurious. Unless you talk to them about their niche interests or hobbies which are often selfish or consoomer. I like women who volunteer at the shelter I volunteer at because they are often kind and we can coordinate making meals and managing difficult people. I like my women friends who are artists and even the online only ones pretty much exclusively to see what they are up to as fellow artists. I had a h…

I became physically attractive and wealthier and then women wanted me. Kinda gave it away there though didn't you? Look; most men are at least partly pi.. Most women are ar least partly wh... Just one of these sentences is offensive. These people have to settle for each other. The only way out is to change yourself into someone who can love someone else for who they are inside. Their soul. And then look for someone else who is also romantic. The default state of humans is ignorance and it takes …

I don't understand how you cant like female, authors, musicians, painters, drawers etc. Artists. Without just not engaging with specific mediums. Its not like you can avoid them lol. IMO there are more men who are truly insane geniuses in useful ways and become breakout creatives. But women are clearly well represented as top artists.

You qualified it outside of a person's rooted characteristics so no you aren't racist. But tats are a choice. If you had stopped your qualifications at appearance then you would be exist and racist. There's no reason for me to feel uncomfortable around black dudes and I don't. Black dudes don't choose to be black it's just what they are. Also they are often nerds like me in my circles. If a black dude is dressed and sulking like a hoodlums then I don't trust them, and shouldn't. If a white dude …
