I know that if the genders were reversed there would be outrage, but I think we should give agency to both genders here. He still has to bear the blame for all the minute decision he took in order to reach there, and they're a lot. Chances are, his wife became moody, withheld sex, and was just generally snarky after initial refusal to do so. Why not be a reasonable man, as everyone has the capacity to be, and discuss things with her? Make it very clear that what she's doing is antagonizing and s…

The divorce happened five years after the fact. I do not think it was some sort of shittest.

That's the problem with you guys, full of imagination. I have never said that. I said that most relationships between men and women have this game of push and pull, and most of it tend to be unconscious.

This is the point I wanted to get into. The fact that although there are some biological differences there, if the mind is right then it'll all be equalized. It's a dig at men for being so desperate for pussy that they forgo actual meaningful relationships with both themselves and others.

Do you think that in an average relationship the men wants the woman more instead of the opposite?

I don't understand what you want.

Snark all you wish just don't expect me to meaningfully engage with it, simple as, no?

These were not the points I raised, and thus I will not argue against them. My point was simple, in a lot of relationship there is a certain power imbalance that is often overlooked, but this one thing has a rippling effect into all the facets of the relationship, and it makes it easier for the one who has it to bully the one who does not into getting line and prioritizing their needs.

What did they say lol? This isn't how you discuss a topic. You focus on a singular point, read it, understand it, and offer a counter argument that would destabilize the foundation of said point. What she did was create a fictitious nonsensical version of the post and reacted to it.

I don't know man. I've seen my fair share to think otherwise, and if we're being overly anecdotal and projecting that into all then my observations have been the opposite. There is also the question of filtering. Maybe you just filter out all of these unflattering facts or explain them away through some sort of means, so it's not like even anecdotal experience can be taken at face value. However, I've always noticed these elements in most relationships regardless of how outwardly and superficial…

I sincerely hope you are just bitter right now and don't feel like wasting time on a Reddit stranger, because if this is how you discuss topics then yikes.

No one said otherwise, but it doesn't change the fact that a lot of relationships have these elements, regardless of whether both parties are aware of them or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/24 02:17 PM

That is great man, but you're also operating under the false assumptions that all relationships are like yours, and that all women are like yours?

Naturally, and what about the opposite?

Everything makes sense in isolation. Funny comment, but objectively stupid if you think that this is what the post is about. If you think so you should worry about your reading comprehension.

It's a very subtle and subconscious process, and as it happens we're not even aware of it. It is only when discussing those issues that we call upon those emotions but by then it's already too late as our minds have been set.

Then imagine how the public perception of men as a whole would change once that happens?

There is also an issue in how the bigger the female identity occupies the mainstream narrative, the less likely the male identity would get the support it needs from those belonging to it. Sort of like how a lot of men find it easier to just be, "One of the good ones.' Instead of trying to justify and defend the mainstream male identity as they realize it's too loaded and it'd be futile to defend so might as well separate. It becomes a sort of each man for himself kind of situation.

What makes the situation even more complicated is the fact that the brainwashing also extends to the offending party. A perpetual status of victimhood regardless of the blatant outward changes. I like the education stats in this case, they really drive that point home. In 1977 men outnumbered women in colleges by a 13%, and since then we've raised awareness campaigns, initiatives, programs, scholarships, and the whole nine yard to fix that discrepancy. Now, women outnumber men by a whopping 15% …

That's exactly my point. If we televised the actual rates of death, our perception of the problem will vastly change and women's place in that equation will take a massive hit.

Well put. Though one has to also put the appropriate blame that comes with choosing that type of thought pattern, as terrible as it is. What do they gain from perpetuating this victimized status? I think the answer is very clear if you're not easily swayed by the masses' opinion to see the subtleties of these identities and how they gain meaning themselves and outward power.

Absolutely.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates06/08/24 10:36 AM

I agree, physically speaking it's very difficult to get over all those hurdles. But frankly, it's all about the personality in this one. If the woman is really as tough as she claims to be, she'd have no uncertainty about that part of hers, and though she may be biologically limited in that endeavor she'd succeed in it. But this would depend heavily on how sub the man is.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:51 PM

You can see this difference in how men view women having sex with other women. Very little threat and care as they seem them both as just having sex, and the other power dynamics that happen when a man is involved. Although like with the example I gave with the post, this is also purely a queustion of perspective as you can't be sure how that girl isn't domming the shit out of your spouse.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:50 PM

You're being overly simplistic man here. Here are the choices you're giving me: 1) A lot of men magically and maturely just move on and get over a very complicated issue without the slightest hiccup. 2) You are over simplifying our subconscious and over estimating how much you know about what you have thought about and the things that subtly influenced your thinking from your environment to media.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:45 PM

Personally, if I find a connection with a woman I wouldn't care if she was the city bike as they call that. But yes, it'd change how a lot would feel. The more masculine, the bigger the hit. Let me now ask you, would it change how you feel if you found out your husband/bf used to like getting into gangbanged and fucked by several men at once?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:43 PM

Yes, all. But I am not talking about just people here, but specific people in a specific situation at a specific time period. It's like saying, "All teenagers are afraid of getting into a romantic relationships." It's true, but with enough introspection and whatnot, they move beyond it. I just wanted to highlight that first natural reaction, and navigate the foundation where it rests.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:41 PM

This one is more associated with insecurity about being enough and jealousy, which of course also exist on the man's side but there is something more to it, something more urgent.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:38 PM

The hyperboles and the sweeping statements you mentioned? By proving one false the rest would naturally crumble as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:22 PM

The answer was an inch to the right.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/24 05:22 PM

I agree with that. There is a certain threshold, and once you're past it it becomes clear that either there is something wrong there or just vast difference in values and views.

What is the hardest one to reach its ideal? Masculinity or femininity? And that's your asnwer.
/r/MensRights29/06/24 04:42 PM

I think masculinity is definitely superior than femininity. Now in your head imagine an average man and a woman and put them in some dangerous situation. The woman more often than not wouldn't feel the slightest guilt for crying and taking over the situation with her unruly emotions. A man on the other hand would do his best to not burden anyone with his shit, and if we're being serious, he will start consoling the woman to make her feel better. There are certain prices one pays in both identiti…

One of the reasons they've given was something along the lines of those lesbian women were in prior hetero relationships where they got abused and then they reported it in their gay era.

There is no such a thing as something that matters to be discussed with this fervor in theory and doesn't matter in the real world. People are just wary of how it makes a lot of people uncomfortable and tend to bury those feelings.
