What was your experience with a Sugar Baby like? What did she offer?

I’ll listen to you vent if needed.

Merry Christmas to you too. I got in a fight and was called and accused of multiple and damming things for having my daughter FaceTime with my girlfriend after they opened her gifts as a first meeting to say thank you and to meet her for the first time. Was then kicked out. Horrible end to the morning. Her new boyfriend was there too. And last night for my annual reading of The Night Before Christmas. Thankfully 😅 I have an amazing woman to visit later and enjoy the New Mexico Posole I made with…

I agree with you. I shouldn’t have let my emotions get the best of me. It was also tacky they were all in matching Jammie’s. It felt inappropriate but taking the high road was the better move here.

Give them to a battered woman’s shelter.

No way! Why pay for them to then have another Jody enjoy them.

I had the same situation but fortunately my personal income was greater than hers and she makes enough to where I don't have to pay spousal support. I did lose my savings and household items but I had a break through when I finally forgave myself for my part in the split and then realized I had made proper amends on more than one occasion(s), and that I had nothing to hang my head down for. I also had a break through when I finally felt and realized I had every right to say..."FUCK HER!". I've s…

Mine already did, and he's from Pakistan, has kids that live with his parents, so does he, and he's had two arranged (forced) marriages. WTF!!!! I have a huge battle ahead of me. But I'm super motivated to get them out of there.

These are all the things I was able to leave behind. I just wish it hadn't taken me so long to realize what horrible conditions I left, and that I am better off now without her and her negative attitudes towards my awesome fathering and husband skills. Honestly, I think she hated the idea that I was a better person than she was. It continues to this day, as does the passive aggression and constant deceit.

Wow...mine too. She must really get around! Haha

Family, old buddies you've lost contact with but could reach out too. Groups. I looked up a meeting run by DivorceCare in my area. I will get it out there without judgement.

I would like to add that you could benefit from finding and surrounding yourself with people that you know would advocate for you given the opportunity.

Agreed. I didn't take the advice I needed when I divorced and my life fell apart and now 2 years later I'm picking up the pieces. I was the same way, my life and purpose in life was my children and when that was taken I broke down. It didn't help though that I have PTSD and childhood trauma that was left unchecked.

This all totally makes sense to me, other than the income. I was the breadwinner but she also had a well paying job. We ended up on a sexless and emotionless marriage as well and the treatment I received was just as poor. If you plan to divorce come up with a plan to make sure you get your share of the assets. Find a way to get a lawyer before you even bring up divorce and have them let you know what you'd be entitled as far as assets and alimony...etc. Then plan on what the reason for the divor…

First thing I learned, and one that I still have to remind myself is: Nothing is permanent. This is general advice but still important. I learned to not push buttons and accept my part in why we split.

Come to think of it, I've had a few nightmares too. But in them I'm looking for reconciliation and my ex is flatout a horrible and cruel person towards me.

This was funny. I needed that little bit of humor. 12) My bread machine uses a plug to get turned on!

I believe that's it. I would have to go back and review my past meds.

My comment and this too would be ideal for him IMHO. But this is great for overall health!!!

Go see a mental health psychiatrist. I'm a Marine who suffers from PTSD and other bad trauma. There is an often used medication that helps with sleep by keeping you from dreaming. It works.

You obviously know her -- women are calculated and dialing your number took a conscious effort about why she was calling. Most sisters would know not to say anything about your ex's dating situation, though I do know some pretty dumb people, but most of those were some of my former Boot-Ass Marines and all men. :)

Sure her sister didn't do it intentionally..."opps, did I just say that out loud?"

Everything fell apart when I divorced. Especially my health — physically and mentally. I’m still struggling to get it back together. And since my health issues keep me away from my children, and from living my life it’s a real hardship to find any comfort or peace.

This is something I wish I had known. I thought I was doing the right thing by moving out and it turns out it was the wrong decision for everyone but the ex-wife. She's now in over her head and I'm working to keep the kids together.

Who is your lawyer?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
