I've seen a homeless man sleeping in a doorway with a laptop on him watching something. In the city there's a lot of free WiFi. Also, some people are homeless but live in their car.

They didn't pay to watch the game, they went to post selfies and announce on their social media sites that they are just "chilling watching baseball with my churro and hot dog and BFF".

I don't see how that would warrant jail time rather than just community service. Ultimately it was the bank's mistake but the right thing to do would have been to notify the bank. She just did something stupid and was unable to return the money back in full. I think if it would have been a guy the consequence would have been the same.

I will write up a 25 peice consentment document with date and signature required as well as initials after each page and question asked. I will also require the photocopy of a valid driver's licence as well as fingerprints and a 5 minute video recording of the person reciting the terms and agreements in the aforementioned form beginning with, "I, <full name>, agree and consent to the following terms...".

She made videos prior to this that which means she obviously had a camera. Those videos were also edited with various effects so there you have it. Her show is called Feminist Frequency and it had been a round for a little bit before the kickstarter. Here is an example with her Bayonetta video She uses the same effects for the video.

She hardly needed $6,000 in the first place. She already had a camera and editing software. I doubt she played any of the games she critiqued and even if she did, she did it in such a shallow manner that she could have just read up a summary and picked up on the "misogynist" bits. She never even opened a book on how games are designed (to see if there are any hints of sexism in the process). She did nothing of value but repeat herself a few times. without having any real depth or meaning.

She didn't even play the games she critiqued. She already had a camera and editing software from her older videos, she could have easily done this without asking for a dime. But she did create a lot of publicity for herself and netted quite a bit of money in the process so I guess she knows how to manipulate her audience.

Well I didn't quite mean that you don't know them at all, you have to at least know their needs and their understanding of how the system works so it will be clear and more visible when the user uses the software. I meant that people have different ways of working. If you are developing a piece of software that only 5 people will ever use that's fine but if you are creating something that will be widely distributed then that's a different story.

Actually I can understand this yes and no. I am currenly in a Masters for Computer Sciences and the field consists of a vast majority of men, in my area anyways. I have been asked any times during the course of my studies, along with fellow students, to help reach out to high school students to get into the program. More importantly it's important to get more women in the field to get varying points of view and opinions when developing projects, because you don't know who the end user of a syste…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
