If you have the attention span to read until the end of the sentence, it says that the 10year probation starts on release from prison.

It was denied but then reinstated almost instantly after.

For most people, yeah, but that’s what the sub she posted to is about. Becoming financially INDEPENDENT so you don’t have to rely on other people to earn your income. Only your own money/investments. Even throwing out the socially charged context of her being a sex worker, her insights don’t provide much value to the sub she’s posting in. Her advice boils down to “get a lot of people to give you money for nothing”.

How can you say you’re financially independent when your income relies on you being dependent on men that are willing to give you money?

Why do you feel the need to announce that you’re a woman for your post? Did you feel that you couldn’t have gotten your message across unless we knew that?

Would you rather say “he raped me” or suck a dick? Speaking a sentence is a lot easier than sucking a dick

I wouldn't just be putting myself at risk, I would be putting my own children at risk. The guy in the original article had to LEAVE TOWN because of continued threats. Imagine some vigilante wants to come to your house while you're sleeping because he thinks you're a child molester.

Not only are men mostly victims in murder, but they're more likely to be victims in every type of violent crime in general. http://nortonbooks.typepad.com/everydaysociology/2009/05/who-is-most-likely-to-be-a-crime-victim.html

If a guy did it what you would hear is "if he was so worried about his career, then he shouldn't have stabbed that guy"

The point he was trying to make is that with any piece of information, you have to do your own research on the topic before you immediately dismiss it as crazy. If you find that it is crazy, great, but don't let other people think for you to decide that.

I wonder what excuse she'll tel her friends is the reason hey broke up? I know human nature and curiosity makes it so you would like to know, but it's probably best to not even think about it. Not only will you probably never know what she told her friends, but what she tells them will most likely be a lie. There's no need to defend yourself in these situations, just leave.

Because basing court systems on generalizations and averages has been working pretty well in regards to race, why not with gender also?
/r/PussyPassDenied28/03/17 12:16 AM

Yeah but you can't pretend it's not true if you do the research yourself.

You probably don't know where the original reference came from but don't embarrass yourself by posting a very low quality image macro. https://youtu.be/rTzO-_Yl4d0

Yes, it's very good, but posting it here is kind of preaching to choir. Not many other subreddits will take you seriously if you post this anywhere else, so if you really wanted to let people know, the best way would be trough your friends and family in real life.

I watched the special last night, chappelle was able to squeeze out a couple of more jokes because it was a fishbowl, and not just a jar. "Oh no! They're eatin it!" "The fish like it when I come over now" Chappelle is much more clever than random XD absurdity.

Well she did alter it, but she actually made it worse. I read someone post a comment on the /r/videos subreddit about the special that said something like "a fishbowl is infinitely funnier than a jar, because of the implication that if you cum in a fishbowl, that the fish are going to have a bad day." Sorry I can't find the exact comment but it was pretty insightful into how shitty schumer is as a comedian compared to chappelle, even if she didn't purposefully steal the joke.

That's the problem people are having with your statements, though. "To be a man" is such a vague and sexist notion that encompasses a lot of different things and means something different to different people. All that statement is used for now is to shame men into making sacrifices for other people. I doubt there are very many people that wouldn't defend their children in this situation, and anyone who wouldn't would be a bad parent. You don't need to be a man, and a man shouldn't need that sham…

It's what you have to do to not be shamed for having an opinion here on Reddit.

That's the biggest problem I have with this whole ghostbusters situation. They try to make their movie seem so progressive, and yet they're saying similar close-minded generalizations of groups they aren't a part of. How is saying all people who don't like this movie are 40 year old loser men who live with their parents any different from saying something like all women aren't funny?

"Ladies... I watch this sub and I support your views. But don't start being cunts about stuff. He clearly had mental issues to rape that woman. You women go too far on the 'men hate' and will lose support from people like me. I like rational discourse, not hate speech"

Did you really think my post was me "jumping down your throat"? If we're going to get anywhere, we have to stop making things a gendered issue and that's exactly what you're post was doing. These things should be HUMAN issues.

Even then, at the end (~47:45), Naomi starts calling Karen a "rape apologist", interrupting Karen before she can get her point across. Even in a (more) professional setting of a panel, feminists end up talking over people and turning to name calling.
