I'd argue that some of these red pill influencers aren't even using evolutionary biology as their support. They SAY its evolutionary biology and psychology that they are studying but when they say things like "this is just the way men and women were MADE" instead of "this is how our species has EVOLVED and ADAPTED" you really can see how their underlying belief is that man was created from dust, and he is not malleable or subject to change.

it also can serve a somewhat obvious function of reducing the inherent anxiety of having to treat another person as if they really are fully independent from you and capable of responding to you however they wish. There was a lot of good points to discuss in your answer, but i'll just say that this really hits the nail on the head. Ultimately there is an insecurity with red pill thinking when it comes to control. You could absolutely apply the exact same thoughts you've shared to the (recently l…

it really is. I grew up in fundamentalism so I know the whole "the earth is only 6000 years old and woman came from mans rib" very well... but I don't think these red pill dudes have any awareness that their philosophies and vernacular stem from a place of religious conclusion and assumption, not actual biology.

Depends, having a pretty attractive girlfriend who treats you with disrespect seems like a pretty miserable time to me. Having a girlfriend who is valued at a red pill Fresh&Fit value of 4.5... who supports you and cares for your wellbeing can be a really incredible and valuable thing. the issue is less about obtaining the relationship and more about actually learning to PICK a good partner for yourself.

Yes i watched that. While I wish she would have gone after them just a liiiiiittle bit harder on some of the points she made... I do think that her conviction really freaked out Myron. He does not have a good poker face.

One point that Myron makes that I often find very foolish, is how his whole argument stems from "what once was" or our "natural biological inclinations". It's as if evolution, both psychological and biological, doesn't exist. His whole argument about the "nuclear family being destroyed" is strictly based on humanity from a 1950's ideal. Human beings are malleable, our brains have grown over the course of a million years. We have evolved larger and more complex brains and as a result have challen…

The thing that makes me more sick to my stomach is how they manage to get women on the show at all. The conduct towards their female guests is miserably poor and hypocritical and its not even subtle, you can WATCH it unfold online. Myron is basically "Don't interrupt me, stop talking when i'm talking, but when you present your case I will shoot it down and interject at any given moment". Fresh is just kind of a weird paperweight who sits in the corner and smiles and nods and says "bruh".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
