Yeah, I was actually going to ask pretty much the same exact thing protestingmoose said. But aside from his kindness, those attractive traits that we talk about (ability to take command and make decisions, having a social life, drive to improve yourself) are apparently absent in this guy, and what a surprise, she's turned off by it. Definitely a good BP example in that regard, like you said.

For me, the trigger was last summer when my ex suddenly ended it, but had done so shortly after a guy she was "friends with" from her past, who had abruptly stopped talking to her one day years ago, reappeared and messaged her on facebook.
