Delusional standards just refers to woman wanting men that fit into a much smaller percentage of the population than the woman does. Let's say she wants a not obese (57% of US men) 6'0+ (14.5% of US men) man making over $100K a year (17% of US men). Is she 5'8", not obese, and making $80K+? Probably not. This is the natural result of sexual dynamics (men are hornier so they pursue women and are attracted to more women), much larger dating pools (dating apps), and unrealistic expectations (social…

More like good luck convincing any women to stay in a relationship with a guy who is happy doing that.

women acting like this is some super easy task I think because the default is just "men help women". One of the most useful pieces of advice from the red pill is to examine each of your relationships after removing gender and attraction. It is amazing how much men do for women simply because doing something for an attractive woman makes them feel good. How many times has OP's friend gone out of her way to help him? Likely not nearly as many times (if any) as OP.

That is an extremely optimistic view of what is obviously just people trying to become influencers.

I guess I'm saying that her first husband is not a top 20% guy.

I'm sure plenty of gold digging goes on, sugar babying is just way more "out in the open" because there are dating sites and stuff specifically for it. Gold digging is just dating / marrying a rich person specifically for their money without admitting it, so of course it seems like there is less of it happening.

It always comes back to power dynamics. An older dude flirting with a younger girl, it is assumed that the dude has all the power so they are taking advantage of the girl. When the girl starts an OnlyFans, she is making the decision herself (even if it is uninformed or naïve) so she has the power and it is ok.

men actively selecting toxic women I think this really is just due to gender dating dynamics. The average women, at any time, has a lot of options when it comes to men they could go out on a date with. The majority of men have very few options, so "who they tend to choose" isn't as examined closely because the choice is "single or this woman" rather than "this woman or the 20 other woman I could go on a date with".

Every "female gaze" explanation I've seen is just a woman gushing about how attractive some male celebrity is. "Oh the way he plays with his hair is female gaze" instead of "he is an attractive celebrity, I will find nearly everything he does attractive". While I do see some level of merit in "female vs male gaze" I think it is largely overblown. Buff guys in movies go shirtless and women enjoy it despite "going topless" being a stereotypical "male gaze" action. It isn't like men aren't attracte…

That doesn't make too much sense. The top 20% of guys have so many options they don't feel the need to commit in the first place. Commitment is required before you can even cheat on someone.

Yeah I didn't want to make my comment too long but that's been my experience as well. The things I have the most fun doing with my guy friends are stuff that no girl I know is interested in.

This may seem "harsh" but I believe that straight men and women cannot be great friends without some level of attraction from at least one party. Men and women tend to have different interests. Even if they have similar interests, they have different life experiences that lead to differences in ability or small differences within those interests (ex: both like gaming but different genres). This means the chances of finding a person of the opposite gender you can be good friends with are very low…

Average men are not disrespected, they are just ignored. The average man doesn't even exist in the average women's eyes.

That's because misogyny is quickly banned or deleted while nothing is ever done to stop misandry.

Toxic masculinity is the feminist idea that men are the cause of the only problem men face in current society. Lmao look at what Bing chat says when I asked it to reword my original sentence: link

Goddamn can I relate to this. The degree of incompetence and cliqueness from the female managers I've had to interact with is insane. All they did was fulfill the 2 criteria of "female" and "had been at the company for a couple years". I wish I had that opportunity. I'll note however that this is not a projection onto all women, just a comment on a system that allows for a higher chance of incompetence in positions of power. I've just been unfortunate enough to run into multiple sexist women man…

I can definitely concur with this given my experiences. Almost every interview I've ever had was with a woman interviewer, and despite having been complimented on my interviewing skills multiple times, I can always tell it would be so much easier if I was a woman too. I even have friends (women in tech) who were directly told that they were hired because they were also a woman and just "so much nicer" than the guys that were interviewed. They are still very competent people and perform well in t…

I've definitely experienced this before with female interviewers. Insane questions like "explain this gap in your resume" for the month right after I graduated college or the interviewer clearly not wanting to be talking to me. Considering about 95% of my interviews don't involve a single male besides myself, it's pretty tough.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
