Hey, thanks for putting yourself out there and engaging. This stuff isn't easy to talk about. IMHO, Liberty is the best reason not to circumcise. The kid may not want it, and in the future he may value sexual pleasure more than you do. Many men have expressed resentment at having been circumcised without a choice. Consider that he won't have to wonder what sex with his lover would feel like if he wasn't mutilated. People allow themselves to be overcome by superstition and tradition and it is a t…

The pros only outweigh the cons if you exclude liberty/bodily autonomy from the equation. If you include them in your estimation, no, it isn't even close.

Absolutely you are correct, a good source such as Norton's Dictionary of modern thought, look at the entries on postmodernism, post-structuralism, and feminism for a good overview

But why does it not highlight general heart disease and in particular women's heart diseases? We have a right to expect more from our media.

In decision making women tend to favor women more than men favor men. Google women in-group preference studies.

I think you underestimate the psychology at work here. There is male need to "protect women" and women's in-group preference that explains the situation at present. That situation is unacceptable and must be fought. Not some patriarchy.

I mean with law or changing the behavior of bureaucracy. My point is that the feminists that merely talk sensible views Do Not Matter (or do not matter much) when all the activists(ones that do more than talk) trying to change things are the kind that do not care about men or that hate men. That is messed up.

I would observe that every feminist organization that is actually doing work in the real world has done nothing with respect to male issues. To me everything else is pandering/lip service. This reflects and defines the word much more than what is written in dictionaries and I think is a much more satisfying/real answer.

I disagree that this is a legitimate concept at all. What a sham.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
