Every shift does have to start somewhere though, at some point before the majority of the population is using it in a particular context a minority is.

Or the professor accepts that the connotations and denotations of a word can shift over time and wants to use a more neutral word. Saying that someone looks queer today means something very different than it did in the past.

The professor literally said not to use mankind. In one of these examples she stated that we could not use the word ‘mankind.’ Instead, we should use ‘humankind.’ I thought this was absurd, and I wasn’t sure if she was serious.”

From the article: “After our first essay we were given a list of ‘do’s and don’ts’ based off of errors my professor found in our essays. Most of them make sense, just things like ‘make sure you’re numbering your pages’ and ‘cite in proper MLA format,’ but she said we had to be sure to use ‘gender-neutral language,’” Jeffers told Campus Reform. “Included with this rule were several examples of what was and wasn’t okay to use. In one of these examples she stated that we could not use the word ‘man…

I mean I think her being at the rally was a win win for her. She gets to speak on an issue important to her and will get press because of it, which will probably result in a slight bump in music/merch sales.

There are plenty of attractive women who can sing that never make it big, luck definitely played a part of it but making that much money and keeping it takes a certain level of intelligence. Look at the professional athletes who get paid out the ass but still manage to be broke by the time they retire.

LOL I didn't realize people actually took that seriously, especially when introducing a comedian known for genital based humor. But hey, whatever mines your salt.

Seriously, especially if all u/LucifersHammerr is referring to as lacking basic dignity and self respect is just singing, showing of my body, and saying whatever I feel like.

Whatever keeps her relevant and in the spotlight, she didn't get to be worth half a billion by accident. Some would say it makes her "smart".

Yeah, I got mine done at 24. However I am married so I don't know if that affected things or not. r/childfree keeps a list of doctors that are more receptive to bodily autonomy. Here it is.

Every time I see a post title like this it always reaffirms my decision to get snipped early.

So this really will only help catch people who are hiding their real income from the government and just fuck over people who are legitimately behind on their payments. While the child support system itself does is biased against men, this particular policy doesn't really target a specific sex just anyone with late payments.

The woman can choose to abort since she's the one carrying it and forcing someone to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term is cruel on many levels. I do think that men should be able to financially abort however but the state doesn't care about the father or mother really, it just doesn't want to have to pay for the child. All that being said my wife and I are happily child-free and I got snipped at 24 so all of these are just hypotheticals for my situation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
