Holy living fuck I've had it with this thread. Can you help a girl out that's championing your cause here? Jesus. Fuck.Indeed! Not upvotes, but rather articulated opinions as comments to bring some level-headed discussion. | /r/MensRights | 06/12/12 02:27 AM
Holy living fuck I've had it with this thread. Can you help a girl out that's championing your cause here? Jesus. Fuck.I didn't mean it like that; I just wanted some more articulated replies so it's not just one person against an onslaught of dissenting bullshit. It's relevant to the interests of this subreddit, and I think it was fair of me to bring it to your attention. | /r/MensRights | 05/12/12 10:11 PM
Holy living fuck I've had it with this thread. Can you help a girl out that's championing your cause here? Jesus. Fuck.I'm going to go ahead and disagree, with respect. I think people can be made to see the flaws in their opinions, and can be brought around if it's done in a kind and understanding way. Some people won't budge, sure, but many can be won over through discussion and patient nudging. I think I need to believe this, otherwise why bother? I'm going to keep steering us (humanity) towards the changes I want to see. It's slow, but it can be done. | /r/MensRights | 05/12/12 09:32 PM
Holy living fuck I've had it with this thread. Can you help a girl out that's championing your cause here? Jesus. Fuck.Maybe I'm not being as articulate as I could be, you know due to the blinding rage I'm experiencing over such comments as this. Could y'all help add some perspective here for me? I feel like I'm talking at a wall of people threatening to stab out my eyes. Be nice though, this war will only be won with measured logic. | /r/MensRights | 05/12/12 09:15 PM
Swedish Toys R Us Catalog Tries to Blur Gender RolesI X-posted this to /r/TwoXChromosomes. When I was a little girl, I played with toys like lego, cool tools, and a detective set. I really hope all you cool guys will encourage your children, whatever their genders, to play with toys that engage them as individuals. I'm really glad to see marketing like this changing. Play with ALL the toys! | /r/MensRights | 30/11/12 11:38 PM
Men flock online for 'peace of mind' paternity tests... 30-40% are not the fatherI know this is /r/MensRights and everything, but fuck this: The Dogon "menstrual huts", where women are kept for five nights a month | /r/MensRights | 06/06/12 05:44 PM
Meet the Female PedophileGlad to hear this being talked about. (Woman here, by the way.) A lot of Mens Right issues can be advanced simply by talking about them. This is one of those really difficult topics to face, but I think if more people are conscious of this (that woman are pedophiles too) it will go a long way to un-vilifying the 'male around children', and put the focus back on people as individuals, rather than people as men or women. | /r/MensRights | 29/02/12 06:39 PM
THIS is why, if a guy asks a woman to have an abortion and she refuses, he should not be financially responsible. Please see r/TwoXChromosomes' take on this post. | /r/MensRights | 23/11/11 12:09 AM
Petition to ban non-therapeutic routine infant circumcision - Whitehouse.govYes! As a Canadian woman I don't think I'm eligible to sign (US citizens only I presume?) but I'm really really glad to see this! I hope it gets some attention and puts circumcision in the spotlight. | /r/MensRights | 24/09/11 11:19 PM
By 2015 we can take back the power! Reversible male contraception method lasts 10 years trials have begun!Let me just say that, as a woman, I am incredibly happy and excited that this is going ahead. I really want men to be able to control their reproduction in this way. It being reversible is beyond amazing; then if you decide you want children, you can go nuts! So, so glad that you are getting this option. :D | /r/MensRights | 13/06/11 04:00 PM
Wow, this girl actually understandsTo be honest, some of r/MensRights is pretty overboard. But there are many more legitimate concerns and thoughtful posts. Just like any subreddit it sees some over-the-top posts, but truthfully your ratio of legit/extremist seems a little higher than most. /unpopular observation. | /r/MensRights | 08/06/11 04:11 PM
Wow, this girl actually understandsI constantly bring it up IRL. It gets people to think about it. I don't make a huge deal about it nut just make a comment or two, which brings it to attention (like when my friends and I are watching TV and we see an advert that has a good example of 'done to a guy so it's ok'). Keeping it light but constant I think is a good way to get people thinking more about it. | /r/MensRights | 08/06/11 04:09 PM
Wow, this girl actually understandsThis is Red 5 checking in. I wonder what the demographic of r/MensRights is; I think there are a lot of XXs here, trying to change things right along with you (XYs). :D | /r/MensRights | 08/06/11 04:07 PM
Penis Preservation Prevails: Ban on Male Circumcision Will Appear on San Fran BallotI am having quite the conversation with people on my FB about this link. It makes me livid that people aren't opposed to cutting off a part of someone's body without their consent. (I am a woman btw). | /r/MensRights | 19/05/11 06:36 PM
The perils of the £30 paternity testIt's the revelation of infidelity. It's only when someone gets caught... | /r/MensRights | 06/02/11 08:03 PM
Just a Dumb ComicThis is r/mensrights. Nothing is silly. It's all super serious. sigh | /r/MensRights | 17/10/10 10:57 PM
Last week my 22 floor office building had a fire alarm. We have fire drills every year so no one was concerned and everyone started down the stairs in an orderly way. Then we smelled smoke and heard sirens. The stairs were very packed and slow moving and many of the women started to panic...Children first (with their primary care giver), pregnant women, then every one else (capable adults). | /r/MensRights | 09/10/10 03:33 PM
16 year old boy has consensual sex with his 15 year old sister, gets registered as a sex offender for life. Now, a potential 2nd round pick, no NFL team will even look at him. That's the spirit! Why bother trying to change things when we can just whine about them! | /r/MensRights | 28/08/10 07:15 PM
World Cup double standards much? Some of what's posted is genuinely concerning. There are many double standards where the guys get the short end of the stick- this subreddit helps to discuss them. Unfortunately it's also become kindof overboard- same reason I left r/atheism is making me think of leaving here. But I'm a woman and would like to be involved in this important topic. :/ | /r/MensRights | 08/07/10 04:17 PM
Why Is It Legal to Charge Men More for Car Insurance? This is in America, right? Is it company provided insurance? Or does every type of insurance cost men and women the same? | /r/MensRights | 29/06/10 03:29 PM
| -1 | Feminism is still neededStay classy, r/mensrights. Nice to see this at zero points. ಠ_ಠ | /r/MensRights | 09/03/10 04:32 PM |
