I didn't mean it like that; I just wanted some more articulated replies so it's not just one person against an onslaught of dissenting bullshit. It's relevant to the interests of this subreddit, and I think it was fair of me to bring it to your attention.

I'm going to go ahead and disagree, with respect. I think people can be made to see the flaws in their opinions, and can be brought around if it's done in a kind and understanding way. Some people won't budge, sure, but many can be won over through discussion and patient nudging. I think I need to believe this, otherwise why bother? I'm going to keep steering us (humanity) towards the changes I want to see. It's slow, but it can be done.

Maybe I'm not being as articulate as I could be, you know due to the blinding rage I'm experiencing over such comments as this. Could y'all help add some perspective here for me? I feel like I'm talking at a wall of people threatening to stab out my eyes. Be nice though, this war will only be won with measured logic.

I X-posted this to /r/TwoXChromosomes. When I was a little girl, I played with toys like lego, cool tools, and a detective set. I really hope all you cool guys will encourage your children, whatever their genders, to play with toys that engage them as individuals. I'm really glad to see marketing like this changing. Play with ALL the toys!

Glad to hear this being talked about. (Woman here, by the way.) A lot of Mens Right issues can be advanced simply by talking about them. This is one of those really difficult topics to face, but I think if more people are conscious of this (that woman are pedophiles too) it will go a long way to un-vilifying the 'male around children', and put the focus back on people as individuals, rather than people as men or women.

Yes! As a Canadian woman I don't think I'm eligible to sign (US citizens only I presume?) but I'm really really glad to see this! I hope it gets some attention and puts circumcision in the spotlight.

Let me just say that, as a woman, I am incredibly happy and excited that this is going ahead. I really want men to be able to control their reproduction in this way. It being reversible is beyond amazing; then if you decide you want children, you can go nuts! So, so glad that you are getting this option. :D

To be honest, some of r/MensRights is pretty overboard. But there are many more legitimate concerns and thoughtful posts. Just like any subreddit it sees some over-the-top posts, but truthfully your ratio of legit/extremist seems a little higher than most. /unpopular observation.

I constantly bring it up IRL. It gets people to think about it. I don't make a huge deal about it nut just make a comment or two, which brings it to attention (like when my friends and I are watching TV and we see an advert that has a good example of 'done to a guy so it's ok'). Keeping it light but constant I think is a good way to get people thinking more about it.

Some of what's posted is genuinely concerning. There are many double standards where the guys get the short end of the stick- this subreddit helps to discuss them. Unfortunately it's also become kindof overboard- same reason I left r/atheism is making me think of leaving here. But I'm a woman and would like to be involved in this important topic. :/
