The fact is, many men are attracted to each other and date each other very happily, and getting rejected hurts their feelings. If you reject a gay man, you hurt his feelings. Average looking men date all the time and women get rejected all the time. The only way you could possibly believe otherwise is if you rarely socialize and get your beliefs about the world entirely from social media and creepy forums. But, of course, you sailed straight past the point. If a gay man hit on you, are you morally obligated to say yes so you don't hurt his feelings? If you don't, are you as guilty as if you punched him in the face?

I've stubbed my toe before, it hurt too, does it therefore follow that someone has done something wrong to me? Just because you feel pain does not mean you have been wronged or that you are a victim.
