I find this hard to take seriously in any general sense. Generally speaking, women are the ones who push for marriage. They also disproportionately pull the eject lever on said marriages, which makes perfect sense given that a divorce tends to have disproportionate consequences for the man (again, generally speaking) as well as far more numerous alternative options than the reverse. As for this recent nonsense I keep reading everywhere about women preferring to be alone? Come on. Surely I am not…

How can you claim to know that only 13% of married women cheat? The only way to get this data is via self reporting, and there is clearly some large incentives to not admit to it. Whether due to not wanting to admit it to oneself or self deception or whatever. Making this worse again is the variable definition of “cheating” between different people. The idea that only 13% of married women are engaging in secret inappropriate contact with men other than their husbands seems awfully optimistic bor…

Tell that to all the married women engaging in affairs right now. Perhaps you know of some of them. I (and I suspect many others) certainly do.

Whilst i disagree, I could possibly be persuaded otherwise as it pertains to skincare. In terms of opening up about feelings, not a chance. I know there are bound to be exceptions to the rule (which everyone seems to think that they are), but generally speaking this is an uncomfortable reality many men and especially women are reluctant to look in the face. Yes, it doesn’t sound awesome, but more often than not that is the reality generally speaking. A classic example of an idea which sounds nic…

Not gonna deny men bear more than their fair share of responsibility in this space. Absolutely. Problem is, that both men and women tend to readily agree on male shortcomings with little controversy, but any light shone onto common negative female behaviour tends to either get downplayed or conflated with misogyny. And there is no shortage of data which can be presented to bolster just how common and awful some of this negative female behaviour is. Yet, all too often (especially from other women…

This is completely reasonable and I’m sure most would agree with it. However, in the face of non reciprocal abuse being 70% female initiated, I do have to wonder which part of the population should hear this clearer.

If I hear another chick friend complain with a straight face about how “they haven’t gotten laid in two whole months” as though that’s an impressive window of time, I’m gonna let them have it. Playfully. But my god women by and large are utterly oblivious to how different things are to the average male/female here. It’s almost impressive. As for men being the ones who underestimate the attractiveness of the opposite gender, surely the same mountains of objective data to the perfect inverse need …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
