I’ve slept over at her place each time. The convo is great and we’re always cuddling after sex then in the morning too, like bed-locked. We get along great in person which is why it’s a bit confusing. But there’s no reciprocation with initiating dates or even checking in from time to time, so this last date I’m leaving it up to her if she doesn’t respond I’m dropping it.

I think part of it is I do want to make her my girlfriend. I can get sex from other girls, but I actually like spending time with this one. So, casual sex is cool and all but I do want a little more investment when the sex is done. I'm not going to propose we be bf/gf tho, I'll keep things how they are and let her come to that decision. I was just tripping, thinking she's not really into me or whatever

Maybe you misunderstood. I’m not specifically looking for assurance she liked the sex. It’s more about there being some level of communication between sex and the next date. Like “how was your day” or something like that.

It’s just because we have sex and then don’t talk until I set up the next date. During that time I’m sort of expecting a “hey, I had fun.” Or something, cause with other girls they’re usually a lot more vocal. But it’s like every time we have sex it could be the last, if I stopped responding we just wouldn’t see each other again.

Is it still possible for me to go to these places sober? It will be uncomfortable but definitely possible, you just need to re-calibrate your brain into thinking that socializing can be just as fun sober. You do that by going out sober and pushing through. You dig yourself into a hole when you rely on alcohol; because now, anytime you have a bad night or whatever, you will associate that with not having alcohol and it will feed the urge to drink that much more.
