You can normally ask around with women. Lawyers tend to have a reputation that proceeds them. Local Facebook Connection groups would be a good place to ask. I alas did not get there first.

The divorce decree only requires 30 days notice to relocate unless you negotiate it higher. Can't force someone to move. Its a straight up custody battle if you fight. Younger kids can have exceptions, but only until they start school.

When it comes to custody 50/50 does not work without close proximity. This is my experience. You also cannot stop someone from moving. I have found in my experience unless you are down for the "whole" fight to the brutal end, it is best to stand down and get as much as you can without lawyers. All summers, holidays etc. As guys we are already fighting an uphill battle.

Find the lawyer that is well known in your wife's area for defending women and hire him before she does.

Dude/ma'am I cannot even begin to understand that first paragraph. If you are going through all that you might want to consider some outside help. Sounds like you've got a lot to unpack. Helped me tons.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
