2	Genuinely curious: how is this not sexism? I think this is the most important counter to the original woman's statement. Data is so much more powerful than a story about ticks, and when we see that story out making the rounds - because it is - we need to counter it with this fact. Collectively. 1	Genuinely curious: how is this not sexism? That was the argument I made when this was posted in cartoon form by vulgadrawings on Instagram. Regarding FGM, it is still widely practiced in countries where it is part of their cultural beliefs, and is legal. Circumcision has been customary in the US for some time.
