I'll be honest: I get the same amount of no responses with each phrase. The latter is more assertive if that's the goal however.

Sidebar this for folks going to college. This is about how it works for those that it doesn't come easily for.

Well it may not be special to you, but I didn't figure out the conversation aspect until I was 19. It was a revelation when I realized there is a general plan you can follow to have conversations with girls you don't know. And, see, I love the "just be yourself," but it's really a cop out. You're not actually helping anyone by saying that. Yes, don't be someone you aren't, but if you are at a sorority party, don't start talking about your League of Legends addiction. By the same token, if you're…

In fairness to the sub, while you may be right that some of the titles can come off misogynistic, you have to realize the silent majority of this sub is not your stereotypical bro going out five times a week and bagging a different girl each time. Your average seddit subscriber probably feels they struggle to build relationships and find sexual partners (there are a variety of clinical and innocent reasons this may be). Thus they want a sub for tips and tricks to improve their sex life. I don't …

Something I feel like he glossed over... He is interesting and attractive to look at. I don't mean in the sense that he's a supermodel, but look at the clothes he's wearing. He's dressed fashionably, particularly for the setting he's in. Now when you look at what she's wearing, it's clear that what he's wearing makes her comfortable. Obviously she doesn't know him, but subconsciously the way he's dressed, groomed and carries himself helps create an initial attraction and comfort level, before th…

I get your point but that's playing a dangerous game. Whenever I'm going for a one night stand and I hear a no, I usually try to confirm it and ask what they're comfortable with. If they still say no or give something specific, then that's where the line is drawn. I have too much going for me in life right now to deal with any actual or regret-driven accusations. I only post this because we need to know our audience in r/seduction. While some here may have healthy sex lives and have the experien…

I guess. I find the "let it happen naturally" approach generally makes me less likely to do anything at all. The girls I think would make for a good date just don't seem to ever reciprocate. And I can never seem to manufacture feelings for the ones that like me. I sit around waiting for the perfect girl to come by in the perfect situation, then low and behold six years later I'm still just as alone as I've always been.

I'm so uncomfortable with the idea of vulnerability. It makes me cringe thinking about opening up to someone like that. And I understand that having a relationship is not always sunshine and rainbows, but it's still something I've never experienced. I want to experience the lows, the sadness and pain along with whatever good comes from relationships. I just hate knowing that I've never experienced so much of that kind of stuff.

You've seriously just got to start sticking yourself in uncomfortable situations. I know that sounds like generic advice, but I wasted my first two years at Univ getting stoned and avoiding people. I didn't make friends quickly so I stopped trying. Find something that seems interesting and just go for it. For me it was joining the paper. But I didn't figure that out until a few other failed club opportunities went by (the awkward moments were unbearable, but you can learn from them). For you, it…

Alcohol has been the main thing that gets me out of my own head. If you can find a way to do it sans drugs, let me know lol.

The biggest advice I can think of is to, as best you can, stop thinking. I'm no expert and I totally understand how anxiety (my SA is pretty violent. I'm a regular at therapy) gets in the way, but if you can get out of your head and focus on the situation everything just comes way more naturally. When you stop thinking and trying to plan your next move, you'll surprise yourself with the crazy, fun and cool stuff you'll find yourself doing.
