It only feels flattering the first time it happens. After that it becomes patronizing. For me I can't help but remember that they rejected me before. It's also easy to rationalize that they are after my newfound wealth and status more so than for me.

Why does he have to ask for you to delete it? Why can't you just delete it? You owe it to him to at least be honest with him about it. This would be a deal breaker for most men.
