I feel the author only looks at anecdotal evidence here. I have not found this the case for my social circle, but I do believe it happens.

Keep teasing us. We do like it (the ones who have a modicum of humor and self-respect, usually; if you are confident in yourself, being challenged is exciting). I love when my SO teases me. Play is fun.

I find it quite amusing that those who say education is not very important always seem to have the most disorganized thoughts and poor use of grammar, which leads to ineffective communication. Some people don't appreciate that. It's tiring.

I don't know you well enough to say, beyond the general advice of not laying the compliments/thanks on so thick. You could post a picture and see whether your looks are part of it and what you could improve, otherwise it's just gonna have to be trial and error

It's unfortunate, but at least the new relationship isn't born out of an affair. Wonder if there was infidelity on either side before the divorce? Hm.

You keep denying responsibility for the way others treat you. Accept that other people's reactions to you are based off your behavior and looks for the most part, especially if you keep getting the same reactions.

There's something you're doing that is responsible for their reactions, whether it comes from choosing socializing with flakey men in the first place, or repulsing them in some way.

Great memoir. P.S. he was married to his high school sweetheart 20 years and upgraded to a new hotty a few years ago

You might not be attractive to them. Are you overweight and/or do you take care of your appearance? You could also be coming on too strong. Could be creepy.

True, you're correct. My sister didn't turn out like me, she is just as cruel as my mother, despite knowing how evil she was. I've been in the OP situation before, dinner with parents with SO present, and it does make me visibly cringe. I'm embarrassed and ashamed that it happens, I stick up for him when it does. I've reduced contact with her over time and eventually moving with Master across the country, and my children will not be allowed to have her around them.

You should consider that some women hate how their mothers treat their fathers, especially if the woman is a RP one. My mother was terrible to my father, and it taught me not to be evil. I treat my Master like a god, and treat my father with much more respect than my mother or my sister, who demean him. It sickens me how they treat him. I can't stand my mother, she's abusive.

Every human being should do this. Office politics are stupid.

I don't, but my SO and I are disabled and that has something to do with it. He does have a hobby he has turned into a venture that makes him some extra money here and there, and I'm extremely proud of him and I believe in him. But let's say we both found a miracle that got rid of our health problems and chronic pain, I would expect him to provide for us, yes - I'd do my best to help him if I could, but I wouldn't want to be the major breadwinner. It's more fulfilling to me to take care of the ho…

It's not a red pill resource, but I find Thich Nhat Hanh's writings help me stay mindful and grateful for what I have in life, which in turn helps me be a better partner. Practicing mindful meditation keeps you in the moment. His boom True Love is an amazing look at love in all contexts, from self-love to romantic relationships to any other.

I've been trying to come up with something to help, and maybe I've found something. I used to be very socially anxious. So, to get past it, I'd start talking to strangers, men and women - seems simple enough right? I just practiced simple conversation figuring, hey, if they thought I was strange I wouldn't ever see most of them again so it wouldn't matter. Well, that worked pretty nicely, and now it's second nature to get people to come open up to me. A good tip regarding starting this process i…

There is a whole subreddit of women who don't agree with you (and many more out in the real world), so saying his opinion is only that way because he is a man is incorrect.

An anecdote for you from a red pill woman in a harmonious RP relationship: My SO trusts me to make decisions just fine - he is still the dominant partner. Two people in RP relationship can be equal but different; both do put in work equally, but they have different roles and it's okay that one person is a leader. I respect, admire, and look up to my boyfriend. He always looks out for my best interests and health and takes care of me, and I take care of him. We just do that in different ways. He …

Thank you! It always fascinates me to learn more about our nature. :) An interest in knowledge is one of my biggest drives. Your anecdote reminds me of something that happened between my SO and I (Sir) - I was being needy as well during a time where we almost decided to part ways, this was before I swallowed TRP. Sir said almost the same thing to me. And you know what? After thinking about what I wanted vs. needed, I realized this attitude was healthy and good - he doesn't need me, but he wants …

Beautifully said. RP love is more about appreciation of the actual good women bring into your life. A woman who is actually capable of earning a bit of your attention, and possibly even your affection, is a rare treat. This is very critical for men to understand. Women want this, to be considered an asset and to be valued this way - and if they lie to themselves about it, they aren't deserving of your time. As a RP woman, I respect and appreciate this way my mate loves me. There's nothing desper…

I can't count the nice interactions I've had with people- of both genders- just by opening the encounter with a smile, by just seeing the person instead of pretending their world didn't exist to me. It genuinely changes life into an adventure when you are willing to turn off that cold defensiveness. I'm thinking now, seeing this video, that a sense of childlike wonder is a great quality to have for girl game. It is a quality that will brighten not only your life, but the lives of those around yo…

I don't think there's anything useful in starting this at age 15-17, as your peers aren't a good choice of life mate (or usually even LTR). Once you're in your lower 20's, it's generally a good time to find a serious LTR, and you (and the man involved) will usually benefit the most if he's older.

Agreed with this. Also take very good care of your appearance. Do your makeup nicely and dress nicely.

You are right. I just learned that there is nothing gained expressing alternative views to them, the hard way. Thank you for expressing this; I was feeling quite like OP about this.

So true. I love it when my SO does this. When I'm feeling a bit insecure and fish for those things, the best thing he can do is to make the point that the insecurity is unnecessary, and being gently teased like that and basically ignoring my fishing reminds me that he is above such things. I've stopped fishing and feeling insecure, partially because of this approach. Insecurity is something the person feeling it needs to address, constantly feeding it by doing the opposite of what you're saying …

I used to masturbate nearly every day most of my life. I don't often now that I am in a great relationship and it's probably not the usual reasons why, for a woman (perhaps, I've never met anyone who is like this:)... Well, I have no trouble (never had any) having an orgasm from penetration itself; it comes quickly and wonderfully. I have long found however, that cunnilingus and such (aka direct clitoral stim) would be very difficult for me to finish from. Until I stopped masturbating. Allowing …
