What's even more bizarre is she lives nothing like a tradwife- separated from the baby daddy, mixing with weird pick up artists, works all day and has a nanny raising her kid... absolutely no judgement here but the lack of self awareness is mind blowing

Hasn't Nick Cannon's son sadly passed away recently? As much as I can't stand the guy Kevin mocking him cause of his kids is disgustingly inappropriate right now. Poor little boy, RIP. ETA: also it would be lovely if Kevin didn't use the B slur.

It's appaling to read the comments of pathetic poor (socially, emotionally and financially) specimens taking delight in how this other pathetic guy "got her". Over 30 dollars. I cannot.

He does not know the basic definitions of sexism, consent or acting with minimal human decency, it's perplexing to read what he wrote. "Side note is this sexist or not? Like on one hand I totally disregarded her personal space and didn't ask for consent on the other I really respected her when it came to denying me the kiss, idk". Sounds like an uncivilized specimen raised by the wolves.

I'm not a psychologist but since I had 4 weeks of psychiatry in med school lol one of my personality disordered family members would often pull the "you are the doctor, fix this mental health crisis/ deeply troubled personality disordered person, preferably right now with one sentence". When I tell you how much I despised that.

If she was some anonymous working class single mom I'd agree in a heart beat. But she is profiting off of struggle love narrative and has millions or even billions looking up to her and looking at her as some kind of a rare role model

I have been in a similar situation and I feel for you. It's not easy breaking off a friendship but in my experience being a cheater does not come in a vacuum without other extremely concerning and hurtful behaviours as well. Also I personally have become very cognizant of what I allow in my proximity and while I don't want to be a preaching moral police some things I just don't ever want to normalize or rationalize in my head. Just absolutely no.

I don't know if Philippa Perry is coddling him too much or doesn't want to hurt his wife by insisting he needs to rightfully let her be free. The wife might be in a double crap position if she's financially or otherwise dependent. Anyways, he sucks and the victim narrative is disgusting.

That's really interesting and I did jump to a conclusion prematurely there. Seems like throat cancer caused by HPV (or being one of the co-occuring risks along with smoking and alcohol) is a significant problem in men.

As a medical professional, without looking at research I'd go ahead and say absolutely yes to your first question. Also it says so much about overt misoginy in medicine that HPV is not routinely screened in men since it's mainly women who get cancer from it. The vaccine helps a lot, but still- VERY indicative.

HVM are rare as is, single HVM with small kids statistically even rarer. Even then they are not entitled to a new partner, especially not instantly while the kids are still small. I feel like being a partner to a single man with kids puts a woman in all kinds of additional abusive situations. I can easily see a corrupt man using kids to bleed the woman dry financially, emotionally, time wise and every other way wise. Even if it's for more "altruistic" reasons of primarily finding a new mother fi…

It's a little sad that I only gained awareness around dynamics of those kinds of relationships now at 30. I've been slow fading or straight up ghosting a lot during 2021. It's hard when you've surrounded yourself with a lot of the same type of the leech personalities. But it needs to be done.

Please block and delete him immediately. You are too good to get sucked into all of his bullshit and especially him saying he had a history of being suicidal. It is incredibly manipulative to unload his entire psychopathology and sobbing history on you, an online "friend" or whatever. Let alone if he knows about a friend you lost too. He's a predator, RUN

If you want to change bless you and genuinely all the best, but I 'm not your therapist, rehab centre, charity, employer etc. Never in my life have I heard a man say to other men that women do great things when you believe in them.

Oh I agree. That's one of the shows that marked my childhood and normalized so much unhealthy, abusive, disrespectful pathetic behaviour to young people, all with a warm laughtrack in the background. Only now when I'm older and understand healthy mature dynamics in a relationship I see how much pure shit I've absorbed as gospel watching shows like that as a kid.

I'd love for an official psychology/psychiatry authority to clear the air publicly- there is not a single evidence that bdsm can be therapeutic. When I hear "consentual non-consent" presented as something healing I have urge to projectile vomit. Are you fucking kidding me

I would date a divorced man if he had mature views on why his marriage ended- either incompatibility or emotional issues which he has dealt with and is not going to repeat in our relationship. Also no contact with an ex is a given. A guy with children- absolutely not. It's impossible to stay disentangled from the relationship he has with his ex-wife and you will inevitably have to take on a significant amount of child responsibilities with very little if any right to say how they should be raise…

I agree to an extent. If you enjoy it of course- but I would not make it a priority above financial and other investments (education, therapy, physical health etc) which are key to us being independent and be able to choose if and when we want to partner up and with whom. If she doesn't see the problem she has some inner work to do. Her able bodied male partner is cosplaying as her underaged son and is destroying her financially, emotionally and spiritually. No one psychologically healthy would find that romantic or attractive. She's saying she doesn't mind it and goes into rationalization with her salary etc, but deep down she absolutely knows it's not ok for him to leech from her like that, she just doesn't feel worthy of standing up for herself.

I'm saying this with nothing but love- if it's confusing to you why you should not throw away your career to build a man ("to make it together") you have some inner work to do. I've been in the same place myself. You are not a supportive character in someone elses life. It's highly advisable to have your own education and financial independence. I'm sorry but this is disgusting to me. He is making a farfetched rationalization here. Because of a less than ideal first date 5+ years ago and his mom passing he is now low effort with his proposal? I don't get it. She has been by his side at the most difficult time in his life and birthed their baby, if anything he should be extremely high effort for her. But, he is entitled and taking her for granted so there's that.

This is crazy to me. They are completely disregarding your decision and invalidating you as an adult. That can't be ethical. There are serious repercussions for doing cpr on a person who wants a "do not resuscitate" but straight out denying tubal ligation/bisalp is somehow extremely common and ok. That moment when your prefrontal cortex matures around 25 years old and you can finally look at the situation like a proper adult. I don't think she has problems with wrinkles, it's deeper than that. At 36 you should not have THAT wrecked of a skin, unless he's even older than he says, tf Also- a 28 yr old coming after an 18 yr old 🤢 she can say they have the healthiest relationship, I ain't buying it. I have just watched a yt video by a woman diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder or what is known as a sociopath. One of the main issues is biologically literally not having certain brain regions matured until 25 yrs old. But I will say, even when pairing up in older age- the age gap can still be problematic and a source of major imbalance. Even tho your brain is finished maturing by your 30's your circumstance are probably much different at 30 vs 45, for example finances related. And if you are the younger one that can be a source of power imbalance and abuse. And then if you are 40 and your partner is 55,…

I understand this to the bones. But it's grounded in a false belief that your partner now offers emotional/social/financial security and fullfills your needs. The relationship is not healthy, you are the sole provider and to put it bluntly he is of a major opportunity cost for you as the time and money you spend on him could be spent on self care and growth or persuing healthier relationships. He is also chipping away from the major emotional growth and healing you have already done. He is activ…

"This approach doesn't work well with guys who love to hear themselves talk." Oh my god, one of the most annoying human features is being able to talk endlessly without the other person saying almost anything back. I'm going to be sick. Out of all of the issues in the world pedophilia is the last that needs advocacy and "removing the stigma". If anything with creeping disturbing porn categories becoming more mainstream it needs more fucking stigma. What the fuck!!! ETA: 10 minutes later I am still in shock why someone would want to rebrand pedophilia into something more sympatetic with this woke sounding term. What the fuckkkkkkkk ETA2: i can't believe I'm looking this much into this, but according to this…

Oh I don't judge you one bit, probably many ladies here and I too know first hand how it is to have an inner wound and it be exploited by someone. I am so sorry that happened to you. I hope you are doing and feeling better now and have a better support. 💕 hope you keep coming here, even if under a different username 💕

Omg yes. I used to do this in my late teens- hUrT pEOpLe hUrT PEopLe, "let me inform him, educate him, fix him, heal him" 🤢🤢 FUCK NO. I have so much on my own plate already, I have zero time protecting other grown ass people from consequences of their own actions unless I am paid for it. My fee is billion dollars per minute.

I am 30. I extremely respect folks 60+ for their wisdom, experience, knowledge and simply surviving the brutalities of life but I would rather shoot myself in the face than have sex and make a baby with a 60 yr old man.

Good for this lady for helping in a true time of need but one of the things that make my skin crawl are mothers enmeshed with their sons and centering their entire life purpise around serving and martyrdom. Like lady, you have already done more than enough, go have your own peaceful life and have them on sunday roasts. Her being offended at a perfectly reasonable request would make me reconsider the marriage entirely if I were that fiancé. Cause that's just a preview of whats coming unless the l…

As someone who has been in med school- yes it gets busy but again- if he wanted to he would manage to send you a message in the 24 hour period. And certainly explain himself/apologize.If he doesn't have capacity to do so what is he doing then on OLD. He is wasting everyone's time, with that watered down pace you would be going on a first date in a couple of years. Ain't nobody got time for that

I can relate. I am not sure the cause behind it, honestly when an upper middle class man has a victim complex around his position in society I cannot help but be disgusted. They are at the top of the food chain (bar the 0.0001% ultrarich who are problematic on another level) yet feel vindictive, entitled and contemptious.

What is scaring me so much is that I see red pill vernacular creeping into conversations and content consumed by the middle or upper middle/upper class (these all being relative). Just now was watching a youtube video by a certain prestigious university professor on a subject that is supposed to be neutral yet I see he is covertly supporting manosphere and the comment section under the video is full of the said red pill phrases and obvious lv behaviour. ETA: it's not Jordan Peterson, yet both of…

You are being way too nice. This guy actively searched your name outside the app, is open about it and is persistent after you said no. I personally am alarmed

My heart goes out to you as I know how shitty it is when someone from your inner circle is like this. I had a quite hard past 2 years. I had several hard life events and was focusing on keeping up my head above the water, almost everything else put to a halt. Meanwhile a lot of my friends were hitting major milestones ie getting married, having kids, progressing in their career, buying real estate which I was always 100% happy and supportive of, even in the midst of my own personal extremely dif…

Yeah, what was the saying, in the sickness and in health. If he can't be supportive (literally needs to just sit with her a little) for 3 days, no way is he going to be there when shit really gets rough- she gets sick, their kid gets sick, some other life crisis happens which it does for every single one of us if we live long enough. This was a preview of what's to come and she needs to run. ETA: also in my own experience with grief, yes it's a good vetting tool for any relationship, not just ro…

I'm saying this with nothing bit love- there is already a dynamic where you don't trust him with something very significant- your mutual finances. Pls don't completely nix your career expecting things will work out. I work in an extremely "secure field"- medicine, I could theoretically be able to find a job anywhere in the world with my extensive education, but I still have to justify any break from work longer than a month.

Here I come with my cynicism lol. He insisted on picking her up for the second date ie knows where she lives. He was pouting in silence when she asked to split the driving, only to say it is emasculating him.... ehh. I mean in isolation it's not a complete deal breaker, I don't know their entire dynamics, but there is a difference between a gentleman + a provider and someone wanting virtually all the control no questions asked. What I do applaud is I guess the overall message of not panic runnin…

I just want to hijack and make a brief reminder to be extremely careful who you have oral sex with. Especially if you do it without a condom which people seem to be more lax with when it comes to oral- you are exposing yourself to a very real risk of hpv infection (no visible lesions on a penis needed) and a risk of oral cancer if you are not hpv vaccinated. And that's just one of the many std's. Als want to say- many if not most men can't handle period blood in a pad commercial as opposed to a …

Ughhh fuck the apologists, the debaters and devil's advocates. I will not fucking let someone put their tongue in my mouth if they don't brush and floss. Idgaf what adversity they say they have been through- i d o n ' t g i v e a f u c k. I will have (careful) empathy for you but we ain't fucking. I am sorry this happened. I would like to add, as a reminder to myself probably more than anything-it's probably against the human nature to try to postpone getting attached to someone, especially if it seems like a really good fit, but in one month you cannot really know someone. Scrotes can put on a mask for years, let alone weeks, so no major emotional investment should be going on at one month mark of the first date, as hard as it may be. Also, having been there myself too many times- if the…

I'm so sorry you had to deal with that therapist. Honestly hearing things like this makes my blood boil as therapists have enormous power over vulnerable people in need. Her advice is literally the perfect recipe for an abusive painful dangerous relationship.

I'm saying this with nothing but love- it seems like you are trying to fix him, be his rehab, a therapist, rationalize and explain away his behaviour. Been there myself many a times. He obviously has a lot of unresolved issues and if he's not actively working with a professional he shouldn't be in a romantic relationship cause you are a direct subject of his unhealthy behaviour. It's not a healthy relationship. Take care 💕

The amount of resentful "fathers" who do everything in their power to avoid paying alimony makes me think it's even rarer than the unconditional love towards a wife.

This is unfortunately best case scenario. More realistically she is beat up by the decades of abuse of every kind, now taking care of him, demented and incontinent. The kids are resentful for all the shit they had to go through and are no contact.

This should be illegal- encouraging a woman to drink to lower her inhibitions so you have sex when otherwise sober it would never happen. I fucking hate this, I wish there was some legal protocol to prove this and penalize it. It's fucking r*pe

I am 100% not doing casual sex myself as for me personally risk- benefit ratio is not worth it. But this seems codependent and reaching- being revolted by someone who slept with a deceptive married man. Or that it prevents other women from having work life balance and loving relationships. I'm genuinely confused.

Omg that was one of the first videos by jordan peterson i saw before i even knew what a dangerous clown he was. His main spiel for women is you better get married before 30 and preferably not have too much education cause otherwise you'll "never find someone". First of all lol don't threaten me with good time. Secondly, fuck you for fearmongering and panic pushing young vulnerable inexperienced women into dangerous situations physically, mentally, emotionally, financially. Gtfo ETA: the sample i…

What shocks me the most is how divorced men complain, no, seethe in rage that they have to pay child support for their own children now. Their own LeGacY, who are small and completely dependent yet they look at it with ultimate contempt and resent. After the mom has sacrificed and risked her life during pregnancy, her career took a backburner and she statistically took on larger amount of housework, childcare and emotional labor for years.

At this point I'm honestly disappointed in my own profession- where tf are ob/gynos, infectious disease specialists, psychiatrists, pathologists to make a public statement about how it's dangerous to have sex with everyone and anyone right away. Every contraceptive method combined will not save you from physical, emotional, mental, financial dangers. It sets up young, unaware, vulnerable women to a lifetime of cancer, infertility, single motherhood, ruined career, financial destitution. It's sho…
