As someone who was falsely accused of SA, Assault and a multitude of other things by a narcissistic ex, it never really gets better or leaves your head BUT there is still hope for you. You allegedly did this when you were young. My case was dealt with when i was 30 and got almost everything dropped. At 27 i'd be making new friends and trying to move past it 10 years later. I got into a relationship shortly after my arrest and have been in the same relationship since, well over a year a half now.…

Nope never fired but I'm sure if I threw my name in for a job I know I wouldn't get hired unless it was a Dennys or something. To be clear I now work a full time office job and I can't have this BS spilling over into my professional life. Especially since I work with alot of women. It's not just gossip. It's straight up bullying.

I made somewhat of a name for myself in my 20s as a musician and hospitality worker. When I had Facebook I had over 1000 friends and about 200 in common with this witch that keeps posting these statuses.

sarcastic, of course i wouldnt but i all too easily could've. Thats the point I'm trying to make. I had no mens rea or actus rectus to commit said "assault" by fucking yogurt. If i wanted to paint her in yogurt, i could've. But i didn't. She apparently got some on her sleeve and back of her winter jacket.

I was thinking about just going by my middle name from now on an possibly moving cities when I can afford it.

Nope, i could've absolutely beamed her from my patio if I wanted to. I got a good baseball arm hah, but no, I believe I threw it at a nearby tree which caused it to explode.

No unfortunately not. I imagine she's sitting on a broomstick flying through the air right now looking for her next target.

I'm sorry you had to go through something similar. I already fear the potential of running into old friends, showing my face in public, etc. Come to think of it if I didn't have to go to work or eat food I would've never left my house after the arrest. I'm hopeful atleast somebody with an unbiased opinion will approach me and hear me out. Then maybe I can work toward being confident enough to address the situation and broach the subject, harpoon the whale and move on with my life. I just turned …

I used to have the same mindset but medication has definitely changed my life for the better... when I'm taking them.

What kind of music do you write? I used to play in an alt rock band, my home writing though has been experimental, usually writting ambient, post-rock, instrumental and I'll take the occasional stab at a cover in a shoegazey style. While this was all happening i wrote a 5 track EP and was in the final stages of producing and EQing it when my computer went black. My fucking hard drive bit the dust and ALL my files were unrecoverable. Being a free man of this all now has given me a second wind to …

Cubase 8 is what im using for my guitar, vocals, fake drums, etc. I believe the program i use for my keyboard/synth is MM Beats or something? Im not sure as i just downloaded it last night and played around with it a bit finally. Having a hard time getting it connected to cubase. I just have a cheap M-Audio Interface connected to my guitar that then goes through about 15 different pedals and then out to my amp.

According to PIPEDA, it does not apply to where i live. We have our own system i guess. (FOIP)? Im not savvy on the LEGAL legal side but fuck i could've been a lawyer in a past life.

Hah if i could make new friends i would. Im socially inept after kinda being agoraphobic for awhile. Ive noticed a lot of my friendly conversations are kinda pointless. I've got a best friend (whos female and stands by me 100 percent, been best friends for almost a decade, but now lives 3hrs away) and maybe 1 or 2 other friends that arent my GF or family that i regularly talk to. Other than that I'm all alone.

I dont know about those stats man, 90 percent seems like a pretty high number when there truly are a lot of shitty people out there. While i do believe like in my case, an unjust conviction was handed down, I'm lucky enough to get it wiped from my record after two years.

My current lawyer wont but if i get some money saved up i might get a second opinion and give them a call.

Yes OP is Canadian an i am aware of it but am not concerned in the slightest. I think they only add you to that "list" if you've been in a more serious DV case (not some yogurt on a jacket). Its a question i will ask my lawyer though.

You're thinking rationally and as someone should after the fact. You're not thinking like a damaged, bumbling neanderthal like i was. I was an emotional midget in comparison to where i was then.

Unfortunately when i asked my lawyer if i could civilly pursue her once my name was cleared and he advised me that "No, because it would set forth people to be more afraid than they are already about coming out about their alleged abuser" or something to that affect, which i get to extent. HOWEVER, because of her social media posts she has been microscoped in on and the first wind i catch of her alleging i did anything wrong publically, i will singlehandedly put her into more than just student d…

Oh definitely. I have been on a single player kick these last couple weeks but i have usually played Warzone 2, PUBG, Dead By Daylight and Fall Guys which i know are all crossplay! I have a Series X with about 90 Games on my 3TB Storage, impossible to list them all but shoot me a DM if you play any of those!

Thank you!!! I know, it just works because we communicate our feelings in a much healthier way. I don't deal with any of the feelings i dealt with in the past.

Thanks! Glad my mental health makes me a "red flag". My partner of the last year hasn't raised any concerns.

I've seen a few women since, some wackos but some genuine people I've enjoyed that time with aswell. Like I mentioned in another comment my current partner and I are celebrating our 1 year In a few weeks. Keep your head in it!

Half right. I have in the courts eyes been convicted guilty but of a summary offense that was punished by a 2 Year Probation and sealed from my record after that.

I'd love to and am waiting for her to slip up with another post about me and it's game over My local police department has a lengthy history of excessive force. Unfortunately as much as I'd want to have it looked into it'd likely go nowhere Thank you. The police never made that clear. The actual restraining order was given to me outside that courtroom, forgot to mention. Over a month later. I hope a swamp monster eats her.

Thanks man. I recently got my MKAI 25 Key Midi Keyboard and also getting my VOX AC20S2 repaired this week! Also ordered a Shure SM58 for recording guitar and vocals. Im thinking about pulling the trigger on a Fender Starcaster as they're on discount on Amazon right now. I play lots of multiplayer games on Xbox, if you have an Xbox let me know and I'll shoot you my gamertag!

Haven't been off my meds since! My lawyer said "I have a very good shot" however in his words "you might get a bad jury. Bad judge. Bad scenario. The plea deal was a sure fire way to avoid a criminal record (I got a conditional discharge). I decided that was more important than anything else. The charge will be gone in less than 2 years from my record thankfully.

I'm not bipolar, I have Borderline Personality Disorder which is arguably worse. My current partner and I will be hitting the one year mark in a few weeks and there has been zero friction between us. Ever.

As someone going through the same thing right now, I'm happy for him. His texts with minors is still shady as fuck though.
