I will never understand the reasoning of someone who offers photos that are incongruent with their current presentation. They are leading with deception, sneakiness, a certain measure of personal delusion… etc. I have always been overweight/obese/fat/pick a term. Ergo when I did use an app I was extra thoughtful in regards to accurately portraying my body. I think I had 3 full body shots (not selfies) then 2 selfie type three quarter cropped typa-deal. As a life long chonky woman, I have had no issues. Majority healthy relationships, quality people of character, intellect, high earners/solid careers etc. All objectively attractive (not necessarily what I’m attracted to however. Ripped/toned/sharp jawline etc isn’t so much my thing) however personality means everything in solidifying a romantic connection to another person.
