Not that long ago I was looking around on the train in peek hour. Lots of normal looking people in normal clothes, coming home from work or study All things considered, pre-COVID, morning commutes I was usually still groggy af and on my way back, I'm pretty tired mentally. I mean, would it be normal to start a conversation then? This would be the functional equivalent of someone trying to strike up convo with another person in another car while in traffic.

I never understood why the introduction of money somehow negates consent. Escorts that I've thought about hiring all charge about 300 to 400+ a session, which is almost 1.5 days pay for me for what 15-20 minutes of work? If the escort can't do her business with me (i.e. I'm too repulsive or feels unsafe), she can screen me out and refuse to provide the service which is her prerogative as the businesswoman/owner.

And escorts are legal. What you negotiate with them when you're in the room is up to you. The cops and local DAs aren't that retarded. If you do get busted by VICE, the excuse of "oh the money is for the time" won't fly if there's implied quid pro quo.

Holy shit you're right. How is it that cheap? I was thinking RT would be along the lines of prices it would take to fly to E. Asia.

I mean, I would argue that there is a certain bang/buck or risk threshold that should count as involuntary. For example, risking a misdemeanor/felony or paying over 5000 dollars in order to go to a legal jurisdiction.

I'm a virgin and I just turned 26 three months ago. It fucking sucks man. Like, imagine dating for the first time at 26. Then imagine dating for the first time at 26 with a busted face. The very idea makes me hyper ventilate. Why even bother.

My preliminary plan to minimize LEO exposure is to ask for an outcall to my apartment....so I'd be crying into my own sheets at least... But I still need to get over the weird feeling I get browsing Eros and trying to find review sites now that SESTA/FOSTA took a several down.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 02:14 PM

Honestly, its the risk AND the value proposition that discourages me. Like fuck , 1.5 days pay for 2 minutes of jackhammering and 28 minutes of crying. ;P

What counts as fatherless? I had a bio-dad that spoiled me up the ass until my mother left him when I was 12 and then I had a super strict distant step-dad from 16 onwards?

. First, self-pity removes the guilt produced by failure (but not the anger). It wasn't your fault... Does it really imply the latter? I notice online quite a few people are self-aware of their flaws and just don't do anything beyond that. Like the whole "yep I know I'm a piece of shit" type thing...

I think for some guys giving up porn will widen the pool of women they find physically attractive. Doesn't widen the pool enough for my chances to be good and just makes me sadder IRL when I get rando stiffies from looking at women.

10 mins of crying? Why? You had sex. Big freaking deal It was a rip off of the family guy joke when Stewie got his v-card punched. I'm assuming it has at least some basis in truth, especially when someone resorts to sex workers and then the realization hits post orgasm. Most people wouldn't get slapped for no reason. It was not referring to being slapped physically by the worker. That line refers to the chance of being nicked by Vice (knowing my luck) as a response to your comment of incels/FAs …
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/18 02:08 PM

I mean....its not ONLY that. It's really a combination of me having to pay about a day's pay for about 2 minutes of furious grunting and 10 minutes of crying PLUS the chance of getting slapped with a misdemeanor without even getting to the good part.

I guess a myriad of reasons. A combination of the idea that I'm spending a day's take home pay for about 30min feels like a terrible value. The idea that the only way I managed to have sex was to pay 300 bucks might throw me into a deeper hole. And sour grapes defense mechanisms about sex I guess. Don't know if I want to know what it's like so I can feel normal or if I'm genuinely curious.

Well I did try weed several times, I was willing to risk it because of the smaller amount of stigma, recent relaxing of enforcement on small amounts of possession, and non-habit forming nature. However, the times I did try it, despite becoming more "chill," I got really sleepy all 3 times.

Not sure how much coke is in a 20bag, I assume is less than 1 gram. Objectively speaking, prison is worse. I mean, are we seriously debating that people should risk prison or bodily harm to experience what the vast majority of men and women are able to get without putting their futures and livelihoods at risk?

Likewise, I'm not even an immigrant, I was born in the states so it's not like I'm unfamiliar with this "subculture." I just don't see a balanced risk/reward here. Mind you, most of my ABC friends don't do weed but some did (salvia too). Among my white friends there were more stoners, but that's usually where it ended. None of us did anything harder.

Be alone with no gf. I do have a few friends unlike some FAs/incels. I'm just saying that if I go to a bar alone, what will most likely happen is I sit at the counter, have a beer and leave. How do I know? From past experiences at work gatherings where there were open bars where I still stayed with the people I knew. Being slightly drunk made no difference. All it did, was make the next two hours after the gathering miserable going through an accelerated hangover. Man I didn't believe it when in…

And..... Somehow going to a bar makes a 25 KV somehow able to overcome the lack of familiarity with social interactions .....and navigate the bar scene how? Like it takes a pretty ballsy and special type of person to interact with stranger in a bar, much less women. Alcohol isn't some magic grow social skills and testicles potion.

It's not that I don't drink, I just can't drink much at all without becoming tipsy, ergo I won't drink unless it's with family and friends. Not that it's matters anyways since I don't drink nor have the opportunity to drink with strangers.

Yes I do, I get a visceral negative reaction at the very thought of escalating or the idea of acknowledging my attraction to a woman. Not to mention the defense mechanisms unplaced to make sure I never get infatuated with a new IRL woman. However, I know my limitations with substances and I know I can't rely on them like others to "fix" this issue without putting my well being at risk.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/17 09:00 PM

Well I don't want to get arrested or addicted. The only resin I bothered with weed was because the recent loosening of enforcement on it and the fact it's fairly low on the scale of potential habit forming drugs. Getting a felony record n the US fucks you over hard in terms of everything.

I find weed puts me to sleep the few times I've smoked it. Didn't really make me more social .
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/17 08:29 PM

That's pretty circular fuckboi logic then to justify you horribly broad theory. But please, do tell me more how my lack ability to get laid means I'm failing life harder than a min wage worker in 5k+ debt and no savings? Or maybe, just maybe, these things aren't as correlated as you hypothesize.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/17 08:24 PM
3

I mean I don't suck at life (most of my non-romantic/sexual accomplishments are fairly middling) There are far worse "failures" (for example career wise who managed to get laid, or in massive debt, or in a min-wage job). Honestly, just trying to say you're comment was full of shit. You don't have to have your shit together to "attract" women. You need charisma/looks/insert x-factor here.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/17 06:53 PM

As a former mod of foreveralone, I can sorta attest to the the drama that there was a soft coup of sorts. The mod comp at the time were 2 "FA", 2 "progressive(ish) types" and one fairly lassez faire admin who really had some contempt for the subreddit. Long story short, we got into an argument about "you can't tell some you're not FA" rule (overruled 3:2) and I my grievances were leaked by the spli…

New York City For the most part, we help tourists here. Just maybe very brusquely and walk you in the general direction for half a block. But unless you're in a shitty part of town you're not gonna get robbed. I would admit we don't talk to each on the street a lot. It's like our version of a highway. We're all on our way to do something, you don't flag down strangers on the interstate to have a conversation in traffic you know.

Well, I mean look at what happens when someone tries to start a career in their 30s with no ion experience. You run into far greater difficulties due to the expectations of having your shit together by then. I would wager it's the same for dating and hooking up. Women in the mid 20s have options and a minimum expectation of dealing with a counterpart who has some idea of navigating social interaction of a non platonic nature.

Round trip to Vegas on top of an escort? That's pretty expensive, more so than going local I would imagine. Video games work wonders. Right now playing Persona 5 and it's like a balm to the soul. Mind you, you have to be a subset of FA (weebish) to like the romance social links. Otherwise porn to get rid of the occasional desires.

Since the OP deleted their account, this answer won't be much use. But speaking as a FA, I'll copy paste my answer on the /r/foreveralone It the whole asymmetry of experience. You having none while her having an order of magnitude higher puts said FA-er on a uneven playing field. Also, I'm presuming that the FA-er will expect that she expects a certain "standard" (with regards to sexual performance, and general relationship intimacy/experience things) as you could put it, based off of her previo…

If you're a guy well into your 20s and still a virgin, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to an empathetic and understanding hooker. I keep telling myself this since I graduated college. Said the first thing I'll do once I lose my job is to find an escort to get my v-card punched. Iunno, just never went through with it. The cost in money and potential law enforcement issue just made it sound unappealing vs just whacking it. Now that I'm 25, I'm a bit more desperate, but honestly not sure if …

Alright, so now that I've finally hit the big 25, is there a good guide on reddit on how to find an escort w/o getting busted by VICE ?

I always worry that with my luck, the first escort I set up is NYPD vice.

the ones who control the money they make according to federal law, regardless if the wife has a job herself or not. Last I recall, this was "custom" (in China also), but not codified in any law.

Yep. I've learned painfully that it's not OK for me to express romantic interest in women. It's seen as creepy, and that has bad consequences. It's taken me a long time to learn this. I'm accepted, conditional on presenting as more or less asexual. People like me aren't supposed to have sexual desires or romantic urges. That was a very painful lesson. Don't have Aspergers, but fairly unattractive, I can empathize with that. I present myself as asexual in front of women. Not around men though, ca…

Do you put in work and persistence toward finding a partner? I've mostly stopped trying after particularly embarrassing experience in Middle School. So do I actively seek out a GF/partner? Nope. Barely have the time to anyways (or so I tell myself). The reality of how behind the curve I am as result of both physical and social factors just creates a rather large motivational black hole. I swing from 95% being mostly resigned to my fate, and 5% going into BSOD mode over my ineptitude. Do you have…

Yea, police dismissed the case after cursory investigation.... Christ, mountains out of molehills is why people can't take you guys seriously.

Probably nothing. Despite being a foreveralone virgin, I'm pretty sure I'd rather die a wizard than ever turn into some Bro-Jock TRP dude. The ideal TRP holds for men is just a complete 180 than what I'll ever want for myself. Even if their method supposedly "works".

Modern anime is disgustingly beta. The male leads are all indistinct losers with no personality, so designed in order that the lowest-common-denominator audience can self-insert themselves into the story, and fantasize about being surrounded by rainbow-haired girls who all look about nine years old. It's basically the same thing as Twilight, but for guys. And it's very, very unhealthy. But fuck is it not cathartic and awesome.

I dunno, the lack of a "safe place" to hit/flirt on other people just reeks of First World Problems.

Subbed temporarily to comment on this thread. Will immediately unsub because frankly, I don't belong in this sub, nor do I feel comfortable here. do they have the potential to be great? More no then yes. For various reasons obviously. There are surely some who maybe in truly terrible straights (the minority) as in some form of mental illness (schizoid, autistic, depressed). But I'm sure the vast majority of the sub's problem is a mix of poor socialization and poor genetics. Even if there was pot…

I hated sports so I usually spent recess doing and HW assignments due the next day or following week so I had more time to play MoH, CoD (the first one, oh god the memories), and Rainbow 6. To each their own I guess.

Nah man, in Warren v. DC, 2-3 women were like raped and tortured all night long and they still ruled the police had no special duty to assist "you" as an individual (or something along those lines).

My motivation to "improve" myself often times get sapped by the rule of diminished returns. For example, a fat/obese "neckbeard" need only fashion, hygiene and weight loss to go up 2-3 points on the scale. However, as a skinny, hygienic person with no fashion style, I don't have as many avenues open to me. And trust me, I doubt improving my fashion sense (i.e. polishing a turd since I do believe my face is at least 1std dev. below avg) would help that significantly and in the end "worth" the eff…

Because the "boys" in question here are hardly choir boys. They committed as a whole countless atrocities in their particular theater of war (even if you ignore the Comfort Women issue). Makes it hard to think "they" were the victims.

Nahh man, that ain't me. I can't afford to buy weights/go to gym. Not to mention increase my food intake to match the exercise (inb4 get a job, I do have a P/T job since I'm in school, I just spend it on games, VN/eroge, anime and figures).

That attitude is very much present in most E. Asian cultures by the way. Its one of the reason why Japanese Prosecutors are very insistant on having a minutely small acquital rate. If they fail to convict, most people would look at them as failures as "why else would you bring someone to trial if they're not guilty". For the most part, the trial phases in Japan and China can be likened more to ritual. The "investigation" phase by police and prosecutors form the trial section. The only silver lin…

My impression is that this stems from the the idea is if one was too drunk to consent to sex (assuming y'all trying to draw the comparison to drunk sex and drunk driving), that means something was "done" to them against their will, hence they are the ones acted upon, not the actor? For example, I was and I walked onto the sidewalk drunk and as such to slow to react of a person holdign a gun who decide to kill me or to slow to dodge a drunk driver. Should me being drunk DQ me as a victim (theorie…
