Most of what I read here implies that MRA's are fighting against feminists more than anything.

Religious doctrine is extremely patriarchal. You can't handwave that away, as it's part of the core systemic cultural bias feminism is trying to affect.

Photo quality makes a huge difference. A photo from an SLR will make you look better than a shitty cellphone pic. Good lighting makes a difference. OP doesn't account for, or control for this. http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/dont-be-ugly-by-accident/ EDIT: seriously. The "ugly" pic isn't an ugly guy. It's a guy that looks very unhappy. If he smiled, he'd probably look a lot like the "average" picture. News flash: people don't want to hang out with a sad sack. Also, OP seems to ignore the popul…

Yes, because having a kid doesn't make it harder for a woman to find a relationship, right?

But how is he ever supposed to meet someone else and move on with not enough money left to support a relationship? The welfare of his child trumps his ability to start another relationship. If he can't do both, that is not the child's fault, and is not the child's burden to bear.

Translation: "No one could possibly grow up under worse conditions than I did, therefore child support isn't necessary" You know there are plenty of jobs that pay worse than public school teacher, right? And that there are areas with a higher cost of living than your small town, right?

What the fuck is wrong with you? He divorced his wife, not his child. You don't 'move on' from your kid and start a new family.

Child support has nothing to do with the other parent and everything to do with the child. You have a kid, you're responsible for it until it's an adult. The dude in this scenario would be paying as much, if not more, actually supporting his kid if they had not divorced. No one is fucking him over. No one has enslaved him. He is responsible for the child he fathered. Period.
