I know that other people here can give better and more succinct reasons as to why circumcision is wrong, but I will leave just one thing. If it wasn't a long-standing cultural/religious tradition, it wouldn't even be discussed. There would never have been health studies performed for the sake of justifying it, it simply wouldn't be a thing. The procedure wasn't made for the purpose of preventing AIDS or other STDs, it was a ritual performed for various religious reasons.

/r/AdviceAnimals is one of the worst subreddits out there. It doesn't receive as much flak because it's not centered around a touchy subject like /r/atheism or /r/politics, but it's just as bad when it comes to circlejerking and terrible submissions.

I imagine if you are a parent, and you have a screaming/crying/uncomfortable infant That can also be prevented by not cutting the most sensitive part of their body shortly after birth and having it wrapped up in a shit-filled diaper. Also, UTIs are still pretty common in girls, and unavoidably so. Babies are just going to be sick and uncomfortable in general when they are very young and cutting them to maybe spare them from pain they might have had is kinda crappy.

It technically should, but probably won't. There was some drama on YouTube a few years back between atheist vlogger Thunderf00t and Christian vlogger VenomFangX, and VFX had issued multiple DMCA takedown requests for copyright infringement on some of TF's videos as well as videos of other YouTubers. False DCMA takedowns are supposed to be prosecuted under penalty of perjury and carry a minimum one year prison sentence, but that never happened.

This is something everyone should know, not just for situations like this, but in general. And it applies to anyone you let into your home. Don't let your moocher friend live rent free in your basement for too long, otherwise you can't legally kick him out if he becomes a nuisance, and you can't even charge rent unless he agrees to a contract. You'll have to go through a legal eviction process, which will take LEAST a month, but will likely be much longer.

Like /u/rynvndrp said, the men that are moving away from the idea of marriage are portrayed in a very negative light. It's still considered a "responsibility" of a man to find a career, settle down, marry, and have kids. Child support has no oversight. Once the money has been transferred it gets spent however the recipient wants it to be spent. There's sometimes the case where it goes directly to the child, but that's usually only if the child is over 18 and in college, or if the custodial parent decides on that.

I appreciate my mother a lot. She has done a lot for me, my sisters, and my father. She definitely deserves to be shown appreciation on Mother's Day. As it was, my high school didn't have doors on the stalls in the Men's room. Oh boy, thanks for reminding me that bullshit like that exists. My high school didn't do this fortunately, but I have been to high school restrooms where this happens. Of course the girls' restroom stalls have doors.

That's a good point. The rookie cops are all in good shape, because they had to recently pass the fitness test, but the veteran cops aren't always held to the standard. I've seen cops that easily push 350+ pounds.

I'm 5'9" and 170 pounds. I am not terribly small but there's a lot of guys that are bigger than me. If I started attempting to beat someone who is 6'5" and 250 pounds, I would get my ass kicked, but nobody would feel sorry for me if I started it. (nor should they)
