But love isn't conditional how you believe tho. Love doesn't just stop because you've become an adult. When we are children, our experiences with the world are heavily filtered by what our parents/guardians allow into our lives, however when we become adults, now it is up to us to filter through what is acceptable for us, and what is not. That's why boundaries are important. I much believe love is a constant, that flows all throughout life, and it's just a measure of how much you love yourself

"The man's choice"? If you're in a relationship, you are partners, therefore, things should not always solely end with the man's decision, but rather a consensus And based on your assumption that women resort to emotional manipulation, you seem like you're not aware that there are also healthy, emotionally intelligent women, who are in connections where both ppl communicate, and ladies' respect their partners. P.S. Men are also capable of resorting to emotional manipulation i.e via sex, and even…

I'm not condoning a woman suck a man dry, but why is a dude called a simp when it is his choice to include a lady in his life, and be in a relationship with her? Spending quality time with your partner through different excursions is what comes with being in a partnership.

Because it's just sex. It's a primal urge within animals, but in our society women are conditioned to cherish their virginity like a gem, and the longer its intact the more she is seen as valuable and worthy of man/marriage/commitment It conditions ladies to suppress their desires all for the gratification and acceptance of others

It was very important to me. I'm 27 now, and lost my virginity when I was 26 because I didn't wanna have sex w just any man. "a lot of them Just move on After losing virginity, they arent attached at all to that man. Most of the times they lose their virginity in Ltr with non Chads" ^ that's only true for some, but not all/most, every woman is different, so how do you know how "most" women behave in those situations?

I'm a lady who values one love shared between 2 people. My life is already enough by my damn self so trying to entertain multiple dudes at one time seems like nightmare

And so can a lot of jobs. Cause what job doesn't involve a computer, or machines, nowadays. And yes cause God forbid a woman value her home, and put effort into having a clean, and functional home for herself/husband and kids. It's just really crazy how when women don't do enough they are demonized, for not "bringing enough to the table" and then when they put a lot of effort into simple things they value, they're considered going stir crazy

Nothings wrong with those statements. The first one is her acknowledging the dynamic of their relationship and the second seems to be an observation of what that lifestyle has lead to as time went on. It's all a learning experience, so maybe this is OP realizing that lifestyle is not all the best for her. A lot of men make very similar statements, who feel they are marrying the woman of their dreams, but then later have a poor experience, and then talk completely against marriage, and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/24 09:56 PM

Well she's a woman. Ofc a woman is going to relate more to the female experience easier than relating to the experience of men. That's why OP asked the questions, because they are curious about the views of a man.

Its not ironic tho. Women don't always benefit from that stay at home lifestyle. For instance, if the lady has aspirations to go to school, make a hobbie a career etc or travel etc, and the dude doesn't have an income that allows her to do those things, thats only limiting her in the ways she desires to develop And if the lady is a mother, her responsibilities are around the clock 24/7, and is not the same as clocking in and out of an 8 hr job.

Or ... or... or.. maybe, just maybe, I'm a 27 year old lady who is cultured and values film from many different decades Cause I seen back the the future trilogy, and the original evil dead many times as well, so are you gonna assume I'm 65 now? You definitely seem too immature to accept a real lady in your life. Because what happens when you settle down with one and shes 39, going on 40? This talk is just crazy to me. Dude you literaly met a woman, who CHOSE to stand by your side, and grow/build with you. With the number of RP men who paint women in a bad picture as if all are gold digging cheaters, I don't understand, why throw away a loyal woman, just for a few good looking girls. Some women who know they are good looking will use that to their advantage, and sometimes play with the emotions of men, just for free drinks/meals, sex etc. why do you wanna risk what you have now, …

Right, the same thing happened with my grandmother. She was the most loyal woman, my grandpa had back in the day, and he constantly had sex with trashy ladies, who were basically prostitutes. He literally thought telling her she is number one was special, when really her being the ONLY one is what matters. I think some dudes like the comfort of what a longterm gf or wife provides at home, but they still desire the freedom of living like a bachelor
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 08:25 PM

Right!! And they show it all the time with this constant desire to rate women's looks on that imaginary scale. Always wanting to chase the 10s as if that's the end all be all for life 💯

Keep thinking like that and youre gonna end up with a view on life just like OP. Acquiring everything you've desired for years, and still not be grateful or happy. If relationships were truly transactional, there wouldn't be partnerships and marriages that have lasted 20+ years

Well I'm def a beautiful stunning lady, and it's funny cause you'd never know, cause as John Cena says, 👋 "You cant see me". So what I look like is completely irrelevant to anything here. And as a lady, sir please... I can simply exist and offers come to me, from gentlemen, all the time. So speaking as if I have no shot, just shows you don't know the life of a woman who is desirable to the wandering eye of other dudes. That's why I was counting my blessings NOT being involved with someone like y…

Usually shallowness stems from a deep rooted fear to accept oneself. So, you can have your reasons, but aye! Shallowness doesn't take you to where the long-lasting meaningful connections are with respectable ladies who love and value men. Eventually, Shallow Hal received his comeuppance for the way he was shallow with ladies, and eventually learned status/looks/weight didn't matter, so it's only a matter of time before that external validation goes dry for you. You seem to only base success in r…

Vaguely dissatisfied? Sir, you don't know each relationship and what constitutes their separation. And way to discredit ladies as if their feelings in a marriage doesn't matter. And if everything a woman does is simply petty and unimportant, just marry/date men. You literally exist partially because of a woman, but I guess her giving you life is petty nonsense

That more speaks volumes about the men they were with, than the ladies. A woman who chooses to build with a man is dedicating a bulk of her life to stand by his side, especially when she gives birth to their children. Why would a woman drastically change her body and life, just to bail on him?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 07:21 PM

So based on what you've said, these red pill ideologies you followed didn't truly help you, and it seems like you have based your self worth only on external validation, like money and getting the girl. You'd feel at peace with your decision, instead you're consumed w doubt. A high value man isn't based on how much material you aquire, but rather the integrity of your character and staying true to your authentic self. A man who truly wants to be kept, by one woman will never have wandering thoug…

I really have a hard time believing a shallow dude like you attracts exactly the women you desire. Cause anyone with a rather harsh mindset about the general population of women is only really pushing them away with negative energy. Unless those girls are shallow too, like you. And it seems like 90% of women in the USA will have shallow asshole boyfriends or husbands who only make things about their looks and weight. It's not a woman's job to look attractive for yall. Imagine you one day have a …

Just because you know of a small handful of ladies who hate other girls, doesn't confirm anything. Because dudes talk shit to me about how other men are dogs, but that ain't true for all, only to the ones it applies to. And I really don't care about all the stuff ur saying cause we don't know eachother so why would I give af about how you feel about the rest of the world. Everyone doesn't have to like everyone. /r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 08:00 AM

Appreciate them because it'll lead to more positive experiences with the ladies. In general a lot of men seem to desire sex and relationships with ladies, and if a dude is busy shaming them and fails to appreciate them, all his energy is pushing them away. So how can he expect to have good experiences with girls who do fun things, when they spend their time saying harsh statements about them? Words are spells, and thoughts create our reality And yes I appreciate men, and just for existing. And y…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 07:57 AM

That's a very interesting take. Any idea on why men seeing ladies as an equal to them is a fear? Cause I have noticed that recently too when it's comes to feminism, and women wanting equal rights.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 06:36 AM

Right!! I've noticed some red pillers feel that having a special lady in their life is a given, rather than something that is earned through proper respect and acceptance.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 06:25 AM

Definitely some, but not all. There are definitely women who love men, for who they are, not what they can do. Women don't marry/settle down, have children and change their whole lives to nurture children and supprt their husbands/bfs to exploit them. That's an act of love, that is far from selfishness If what you said is 100% true, we would seize to exist cause childbirth is a selfless devotion. It doesn't matter what you can or can't change, but it's the fact that you're so entitled to think a woman has to change for you is crazy, when you could just focus on the healthy women you desperately want. Simple having healthy hobbies aligns you with healthy ppl, period. And if you don't like the lifestyle in America, go somewhere else then, if it's so hard for you to look at fluffy ppl. And no, personally I'd says it's people's attitudes that contributes to the detriment of dating in the USA…

Yes there is sir. And how many of those elite men, do you think actually let their wives run shit? None. Ever since the inception of the USA, circa 1776, this society has always been dictated by white, heterosexual men, who have made this whole society about rugged individualism (Herbert Hoover/Republican party) money, and heavy work/hustle culture that has only become toxic in modern times

Yes because how dare a woman not appeal to the male gaze and look fuckable for him 🤢🤮 Maybe if the dudes took accountability for what they're attracting, then he can attract what he actually wants And men need to stop being assholes to ladies and making everything about their weight, and looks, while also bitching thats its not fair ladies reject them for being under 6 ft/bald/not good looking enough. A bunch of heavy generalizations here. You don't know most ladies and what they do, sir. There ar approximately 4 billion women on this earth, and you mean to tell me, that you personally know how a majority of them contributes. When youll probably never personally know more than 100 women in your own life. And no need for the sexist nonsense, there are definitely ladies who build roads too and work in construction cause I know of some, and see other ones out on the roads. Plus today, we have th…

Not only by men. If you actually research how women have made an impact in this society, you'd see we as the human race make an impact, not only men. But I can see how it's easy to make claims like that when we live in a society that is defined by patriarchy, as that implies the exclusion of women. Casue also how did a man get here, if it wasn't for their mothers carrying them full term, and nurturing them as children?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/24 04:18 AM
4

How do they not contribute? So many dudes today seem to be personally offended by ladies who claim their independence. And those ladies are working class citizens just like everyone else contributing to this society by paying taxes, treating the ill in Healthcare providing an education to our children of tomorrow, birthing children and taking care of their husands, and yes, even catering to the male fantasy via porn, and sex work.

Then simple, change the type of ladies you focus on n attract. Easy men only attract easy ran thru women, and not all ladies are like that. Others are classy, respectable ladies, who know not just any man is worth her cookie 🍪😉

/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/24 08:48 PM

You don't know me, sir. I'm always shooting my shot 🏀 with men, at arcades, parks, bars, you name it, and they love it 😉 but thanks for assuming. And aye! Call it cocoa puff land all you want, but since accentuating the positive has brought positive experiences into my life, then that's a real world worth living in more than a dreary ol' society that makes you believe negative things about yourself
/r/PurplePillDebate13/01/24 08:41 PM

Says who? This life is meant for anyone and everyone regardless of what someone looks like. Yalls mentality is what perpetuates those negative affirmations Looks isn't what makes relationships thrive, the love and respect 2 ppl have for eachother does As Perry Como said, 🎵 "You gotta Accentttt-uate the positive. Elimate the negative, and latch on to the affirmative" 🎵

Submission is a gift Several men want access to women, sexually/intimately/romantically/emotionally And in order for a women to truly offer herself to her partner, she must feel safe/appreciated/respected. Therefore it is the man who must show a woman he is worth her sacred energy, by showing she can trust him. A genuine relationship cannot proceed until the woman is ready to submit to the man. What you described is not submission, but rather codependency and passivity.

And I won't find anything in those books because books only cite logical information. The whole reason I was asking you was because you chose to use alpha and beta male terminology, and I'm genuinely curious what you feel it means, so i can apply it to ur orginal statement. See thats where you're incorrect, sir. You're a man, who does not know what each individual lady desires in a partner. A lot of ladies love introverted men, because some of them are introverted too, and are not about that life of having a huge social circle and extroversion. Some ladies are not shallow and don't value looks. That's the thing. The internet is not a valid source of credible information. If they made a film about a man trying to attract/keep a woman using "Redpill alpha" tactics, that film would be titled, "How to lose a woman in LESS than 10 days"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/24 06:41 PM

All that alpha, beta male talk is a fallacy tho. We as highly evolved animals do not function with that type of hierarchical structure. Based on your logic what defines an "alpha" male, and what defines a "beta"?

Ok but, you're a dude tho. So you don't exactly know what women desire. And the fact that you are resorting to statistics as a general rule of thumb just proves it Because how do you feel about women exclusively telling other men what you all desire? And referring to you as a stat, opposed to an individal with his own desires, goals, and ambitions toward dating.

People form their beliefs about the world based on how their parents/guardian raised them, because the first 7 years of life are our critical habit formation years. And I've noticed a lot of incels tend to have a general gate towards women. So if a man has developed low self esteem while also hating women, then that's indicative of hate/disdain towards their own mother. We don't care about odds, like yall do, because dating is not a numbers game for us. As a woman, I can literally exist in a place, and dudes will extend offers. That's the problem with people who identify as incels tho. They have a quitter mentality, they lump women together, and assume what women want, and what they don't want, although preference depends on the person, not the gender. That is why no.matter how hard they try, they will be rejected. If a dude has low self worth, and lacks confidence, believe it or not, women can subconsciously pick up on that, and will reject a man. This is exactly what unhappy negative people do. They take everything, pick it a part and always offer a negative take. You can claim you are a realist all you want, but at the end of the day, we are social creatures meant to coexist/bond, and thrive in groups. It doesn't tho, sir. Shallow desires only attracts shallow people. While someone who values character is only attracting other high value people So I guess it's a matter of which table you wanna be at. Cause at the end of the day those long-lasting relationships weren't successful because "he's tall" but rather they last because they love and accept each other, warts and all.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 08:51 AM
3

But why are you guys making it about shallow physixal things like height? It doesn't matter if he's 6'1200", because serious women desire men who they click with.. someone who shares similar values, sense of humor, and just someone gets who them and loves them. Height ain't nothing but a number. If a lady falls head over heels for a guy who happens to be 5'6, a 6'3" guy who comes along does not matter.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 08:40 AM
-1

But to a woman who values character, height is nothing. And ladies like me don't even notice it like that, I notice the man and his personality, more than how tall he is. A dude's success with a woman isn't measured by his height, but rather his values and character. A dude can be 6'2" and an asshole and treat ladies like they're expendable because he knows he can score due to shallow girls who want a tall dude, while a 5'6" dude may be respectful, and honor a lady.

Exactly! It's annoying. Ppl are only like that because they are looking for any way to confirm their own personal biases. I recently had it happen where I made a comment about how height on men has never been a huge thing for me, and it was crazy seeing the number of people who had a problem with that statement. Someone actually responded, "date a midget and see how you feel". So I guess not only do some guys get upset when girls only want tall guys, but I guess some get mad when you say height …

Stats are flawed, and don't represent the general society, and should be considered with a grain of salt. You don't have to be married to have a successful relationship. You definitely seem to be a "glass is half empty" kind of person, because notice how you didn't wanna focus on the other 50% who are married, the other 50% that gave stayed together, and the other 50% that are truly happy. It just seems that you'd rather look for confirmation in all the failed connections and negative things abo…

What I proposed can definitely be adovated for through therapy, and self acceptance. Therapy is a very broad subject as you can heal through individal practices like yoga, positive affirmations, and sound therapy that teach you to calm yourself etc. It's the fact that we as a society don't allow men safe spaces to be vulnerable and release their emotions in a healthy way, if we implemented an act that allows safe spaces for men to express themselves and receive access to healthy tips on how to e…

I don't think that would help. People use things like sex, alchol and drugs to self sooth when they dont know hiw to emotially regulate themselves. If a guy finds himself wanting sex with a prostitute or any type of meaningless sex with any kind of woman, that's indicative that something deeper needs his love and attention, not sex.

But men have always had their sexual freedom and autonomy, it was the women who didn't. Which is why feminist movements have been happening since the 1800s. The men were the ones who wanted to exclude women from society, and make ladies subject to them, so it's not that feminist women don't want equality, they just wanna take back what men told them they can't do or have, and share the same freedoms. I think the issue is that dudes would rather chase women for sex and resort to simp behavior bec…

Idk man! It seems like you want confirmation that most or all women cheat. And yes, PEOPLE do, not just women, or all of them, but men too. Cheating is based on the character of a person, not the gender. I already said its not worth it. For instance, if I'm dating a guy who I'm head over heels for, I'm blind to all other men's advances. For a woman in love, who also respects herself and ppl around her, no amount of money, looks, sex appeal, material things could ever sell a woman to leave what s…

The statement "women are only as loyal as their options" isn't loyalty then, that's conditional love. Are you not aware that men and women around the world maintain healthy, functional relationships? Where appreciation and respect are exchanged. What you've described are people just in situationships. If you wanna get technical what you said can also be applied to men who use women for sex, and treat her like she's expendable
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 04:01 AM

Being the best man a dude can be shouldn't be based on the lives of other women. If a dude is the best version of himself, and loves his authentic self, that'll attract women who match that mental state, regardless of body count or her dating past
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 03:53 AM
2

It's not worth it. My idea of a relationship is between two ppl who are in love, and grow together. Nothing a guy or girl outside of the relationship can offer will ever be better, regardless of how good looking, or anything material he/she offerers Only when a couple is not in love and loyal to each other is when they venture out and seek attention from others
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/24 02:34 AM
2

What you explained isn't loyalty, that's just conditional love A woman's loyalty is not measured by every guy she's chooses to ignore on social media or irl. Her loyalty is measured by her respect and appreciation to her man, herself and their relationship A REAL loyal woman will not throw away what she has with a man just because something she deems more good looking comes along. She stays with man because what they share together is special, and no one no matter how good looking, is worth thro…

Yes I understand! Im referring to the incels that are inclusive of men who want sex, but aren't getting it, and then turn and shame sexually active girls. Thats just a self fulfilling profecy. If a dude wants more fun and sexual experiences w girls, then he needs to go inward to understand how his behavior around women is what pushes exactly what he wants away from him
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 11:48 PM

Well because the dude probably is an incel. If a dude is airing out his frustrations with women online, that's more of a personal thing, and is reflective of the things he has internalized from his failed connections with ladies. Obviously dudes want sex, but that doesn't give them the right to Shame random women in comment sections just because they aren't getting it, and are envious of sexually active girls. There's a saying "if you constantly smell dog 💩 everywhere you go, then check your shoes" Just because a girl has an IG, doesn't mean she is automatically an attention seeker, or instahoe. There are a lot of girls that use it to promote their businesses like art, jewelry, cannabis paraphernalia, etc. So if you have negative perceptions of girls, then you are focusing on and attracting a specific demographic of ladies

We can do this all day.. but I can see you are set in your ways and obvi have disdain toward the general female population, and I ain't gonna waste our time. Good day to you

Again! You're comparing things that don't matter, and ofc if shallow ppl are involved then things like that are gonna transpire. So to make these claims do you monitor people's ig accounts or something. Because how do you personally know what guys and girls do behind closed doors and in their own personal dms. As a lady myself, guys sliding into dms is in poor taste and gross, so no. Ladies in general do not accept guys trying to fuck 🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮

No! And can you stop tryna generalize, as if it's all, or most women. There are like 4 billion women on this earth, and we will probably only ever interact with a small sliver of a small percent of them. I'm not lkke that, and know tons and tons of ladies who never entertain men sliding into their dms when they have lovely bfs/husbands in their lives. That's in poor taste. That claim doesn't make sense. If you feel that mothers love their daughters and sons unconditionally that means your mother most likely unconditionally loved ur dad for u to even be made, and she is a woman. Cause it takes a lot of love, for a woman to have a baby w a man Love knows no gender, it's all based on the person. Making statements like that is only creating a self fulfilling profecy that you'll keep reliving, just like groundhog day
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 09:06 PM

Not to burst your bubble, but if you find that every girl you dated is like that, then maybe there is a certain type you are subconsciously attracted to, because not all women are like that. There are tons of ladies who only have eyes for their men, and would never entertain other guys like that
/r/PurplePillDebate07/01/24 08:58 PM

Because those women don't wanna be kept women Instantly, the song "Attention" by Doja Cat started playing in my head upon reading this post. That's your answer. Guys slide into my DMs all the time but I don't entertain none of it because their attraction to me is all physical, n no substance. A woman who truly values her bf/husband will only have eyes for him, no matter the number of guys who try to entertain her, period.

For there to be age gaps, it was preferred by both genders. For a 27 yo woman to date a 44 year old man, she is open to dating older men just as much as the man is open to dating younger women.

Yes you can respectfully disagree. But until you have sex with another man, you cannot relate to a woman's perspective And it doesn't make sense to complain about ladies for some who have high standards, and then proceed to tell me that a guy's dick size matters. Because of their psychology. We often attract, and pair ourselves to people who we subconsciously feel we need. So if a woman grew up in a home with an emotionally distant father, she may grow up attracted to emotionally unavailable men, and be in relationships or situations with men who exude behavior similar to her father. You seem to have a bitter and jaded view of women, and I'm sorry if you've gone through traumatic experiences that have shaped those opinions, but someone with your mindset is only perpetuating the distance you feel with them. You gotta learn to love and accept the ladies, if you want them to love you.

It must be really hard for a lot of men to understand an honest lady stays for love, not money.

Dudes who say that are just envious. They value having a beautiful woman by their side, and it urks them to see her with someone who is not them. So to compensate, they tell themselves negative things about the woman, and her man as a way to justify why she isn't with him

Ok but women are not fish. And as ladies, we know what eachother likes because we talk about it in detail. If a dude comes up to me and says he's interested in my homegirl, I'll tell him everything he needs to know about how to approach her, and what she likes, so that he can be the most successful in asking her out. Your argument doesn't make sense sir. It just depends on the woman who's giving the advice, and where she is drawing it from. But as Tupac once said " we all came from a woman, got our name from a woman, and our game from a woman..." So maybe not all women, but yes women do give pretty good advice, especially when they want to see other men thrive

I don't believe in either. For the first scenario, it doesn't matter how young you marry a partner, what you do in life with them, divorce will not happen when both people truly love, respect and appreciate eachother. If divorce does happen, then it's still a blessing because something else was meant for the two And good men are never gone. Gender norms! In our society, it is accepted and seen as a norm when men provide for women. So less people bat an eye at sugar daddy situations. But typically when older men seek to date/marry younger women, people see it as if the man is preditorial, or attempting to groom.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/23 07:15 AM

Kind sir, although I definitely understand your stance, that is something that I have to politefully disagree with. Men and women can be great friends, and one shouldn't be seen as annoying or boring simply because the man is not receiving romance or sex. No. I believe in one love between 2 people. Polyamory is not ideal. I was once involved with a poly dude, and it just leaves the participates feeling unloved, and undervalued. You can only give so much of your time to one person, but when you have multiple to love, it's just a recipe for disaster.

Well that's a generalized fallacy. Horniess is dependent upon the person, not the gender. It's all about compatibility, when it comes to dealing with different sex drives. I know women who are just as horny as their male partners, and I know some who are hornier than their men and literally wear them out in the bedroom. Nah sir! The whole alpha male ideology is a fallacy. Even in my major, we'd read in many biology and sociology books that in mate selection, competiveness between men is only to show the females that they are the best suited for survival, which indicates high odds of a healthy and fit offspring, but has nothing to do with a hierarchy of alphas, betas etc Because what is it that makes a man 💪 an alpha??

What in the world? No. Gender norms, especially in American society have been here long before Trump was even born, and well before he was even relevant to anything he has done as an entertainer or politician.

No sir, because no one here has said a thing about women value a man's looks more than his character. If that's what you truly believe, you either spend too much time on social media, and it has warped your sense of reality, or you've just been involved with too many shallow ladies. Physical attraction is just the tip of the iceberg. What makes real connections and relationship solid, and last is the character, and mindset of the man and woman. The same reason why more men on average love sports, like football, and high body count on men is celebrated while high body count on women is looked down upon by men.. because of gender norms! Men and women are put into boxes, and lines are drawn on what is socially acceptable for each gender, sadly. It's highly toxic, and is the reason men and women are torn on their differences, like makeup Makeup is highly marketed towards women, men can and even do wear makeup but it's not seen the same way…
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 09:35 PM
1

But you're probably still attracted to her. And regardless of whatever tf she looks like without majeup she is always stunning, a great actress a good wife and highly dedicated to everything she does. There is more to life than makeup n that'd sad a lot of dudes care about a woman's appearance more than her character
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 09:13 PM
1

Men who make statements like that are what perpetuates the shallowness between men and women. Men complain women wearing make is unfair and falsely alluring, but in the same breath will affirm that girls look better with it, which is not necessarily true, because a lady who values her health and what she eats will always look amazing whether she's bare faced or wearing a full face of makeup.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 09:09 PM
2

Why do you assume that makeup only has to do with insecurity and male validation? That's like saying men only want and drive nice cars so that they can all only attract ladies by flexing their "status". Make up means different things to every lady, and they wear it for different reasons. If the fact that something that they are doing with they're one bodies, and nothing to do with you personally offends you, then that's a red flag right there. It's giving entitled ignorance
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 08:57 PM
5

That's all shallow tho. That's implying that women only value height, and to real ladies who value gentlemen and respect them and value them, their height is nonsense, because character, loyalty, and compatibility are key, not nonsense things like how much makeup a lady wears, or how tall a dude is
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 08:50 PM

You may not understand, but makeup/dressing up/accessorizing is fun. The idea that you can one day rock one look with blue eyeliner, then change it up a few days later to black eyeliner with red lipstick are the little things that make life enjoyable for a woman who values self expression, and her outter appearance. We're material girls, living in a material world. So don't hate the player, hate the game.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/23 08:43 PM

Simple. Those women are not your type. So don't focus on them. A lot of women may wear makeup, but there is a huge part of the population that either doesn't wear it, or they wear it modestly and minimally, I'm part of that demographic. Where are you even getting this info.. social media?? Because irl I know and see many women who don't wear makeup the way you've described. What good does it do to compare nature with peoples' psychology, when every mind responds differently to life/trauma/family experienxes. Next are you gonna ask me who has a bigger and wider pelvis? Well I don't generalize men and women, because they are not monoliths. You say you aren't claiming that attention seeking is based on gender, but then you proceed to ask me to generalize who "needs it more". When ppl dont recieve proper parental attention, that's what triggers these extravagant behaviors you've mentioned in your original post. Okay but what is "ugly"? You're comment just proves how yes, it is about mindset because there is something to love in everyone, and one dude who is not a lady's cup of tea, just means someday he may meet a lady who is head over heels for him. Maybe dudes who don't know how to work with lemons, to make lemonade may struggle in dating. Women value substance and how a man carries himself in life, over his looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/23 10:13 PM

Attention seeking isn't based on gender, but rather the individual. People who seek attention want it for deeper psychological reasons. Things we do as adults are only reflective of our childhood needs that were or weren't met. Some ppl have parents who didn't give them enough attention during the childs formative years, so to compensate the child learned to self sooth, and continued that in adult hood. Everything you've explained are all adult methods for self soothing to replace the attention …

Men are naturally stronger than women due to genetics, as their testosterone provides them greater muscle mass. That's not the same as how men and women have been socialized and conditioned in our civilized societies. You don't know all women, and to make blanket statements like that, just makes it okay for women to argue that "all" men are dogs, men only wanna fuck, and care about high body count for them but low for women, and fear commitment. Life isn't about sex appeal and attractive young women tho. This abundant earth is full of many wonders, and stunning sights and to limit the best thing on this earth to a small demographic of young attractive women, is not life sir. It's not that simple though. You're assuming that it is this way for "every" woman when it clearly is not. Regardless of man or woman, we are all living the human experience, therefore, we've all been rejected, we've all be lead on, lied to, and have most likely experienced many of the positives that comes with courting as well. I feel you! This whole concept of virginity is totally made up in order for control, I believe. The fact that the construct exists only puts pressure on women to save it, and men to lose it at a young age. It seems like when you don't follow that 'norm' you're labeled as an outcast. I (27F) had sex for the first time last year. So I understand the odd looks, and comments you may have received from others with different outlooks. To me, this is blue pill behavior. I'm not deciding it, sir, im simply restating its meaning. The dichotomy of red pill v blue pill, from the Matrix, has all to do with looking beyond the illusions of society, accepting hard truths, and our purpose as humans 🔴 vs. Continuing an ego centric and misinformed outlook on life 🔵 Take me for example, I'm a red pill woman, and I accept the harsh reality that there is a lot of fighting/ignorance/division between men and women in 2023, as well as there are men AND women who do lie/cheat et…

That's just a man putting himself in a box and perpetuating gender norms, and the divide. (blue pill). Men are conditioned from day one that it is manly to conceal their emotions, and always be stoic, but that doesn't benefit them because it causes emotional detachment from self. Which directly correlates to the male loinlessness epidemic, and high suicide rates of men. They aren't aware of how to emotionally regulate, so they isolate. Bro you're gonna hear whatever you want. Because did I ever say it was good that shallow women judge men that way. NO! You can insult me all u want sir, but I'm going tf to sleep. It's always the dudes who wanna start b1tching and judging ppl personally just to feel better about themselves. Because did I ever say anything personal about you? NO! But u certainly didn't hesitate to judge me personally And yes i firmly believe men care about looks. They say it all the times.. and I know damn well y…

Good for u. You don't like overweight ppl and value the external more than someone's internal values, like character/morals/ethics. Ur comment is a prime example of what I mean. Dudes are always making it about shallow bs, like a number on a scale, then yall wanna turn around n b1tch when shallow girls want men for their height. At least a girl can change her weight I find it funny how you say it's not true that women are put under pressure to look good for men, but then u immediately proceed to…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 11:54 AM

What does that have to do with anything? It's no surprise the number of overweight ppl is high in the usa, when ur living in a country that values money over health and provides 💩 low quality food amd super sized portions. Plus what defines someone as overweight? It's literally just a standard based on height, and other factors. Literally when I was in the army, we were all fit and lean af, but several of us were considered overweight because the standards are fvcked!

But yet how many times are men telling women she shouldn't be fat, or she has to be pretty, and how she needs to change clothes when he doesn't like them! Also some men will fvck anything! Look it up, men have fvcked corpses, and have fvcked sleeping women, and escorts/prostitutes. Men will fvck a hoe for "rec use" but cast her aside because she's not good enough for him 🤮 without admitting he is hoe too I've literally had dudes tell me they're only type is "girl", period! So maybe not all men, …

Good for you 👍 I'm not debating with you! Maybe it is harder for men, considering male loniless is a real epidemic and all. Glad I'm a woman 👸🏾 nothing compares to sisterhood and I'm grateful to experience it

Careful what you wish for! You may reincarnate as woman in your next life, and see exactly what it's like to be a woman in this society and now you can happily accept all the horrid beauty standards!! Cheers
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 10:53 AM
5

No, it's because they're trying to appease the male gaze. Everything they do is to market to what the men wanna see. Men give attention to these OF girls, porn stars, and IG models, and other women see the attention those girls receive from men, and that conditions them to devalue themselves, or feel they arent enough, because that tells women, "yes! this is what men want, this is how you attract a man" Women of IG don't dress provocatively for other girls, it's all for the men! And that's how i…

Sir you'll never understand. Maybe if you were a woman, who lives in a patriarchal society, where you're constantly being told, do this for a man, and constantly sexualized and seen as a sex object, you'd understand. Plus, why make it women's fault that men put so much focus on looks, that's the only reason u think women have it easier is due to pretty privildge. How do women, nearly 3.9 billion people, supposedly have it easy due to beauty standards???
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 10:22 AM

Exactly 💯 the entitlement and audacity leaves me speechless!
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 10:12 AM
22

Not really sir! Look at the media! It's always telling women how they should look, dress, and feel, in order to be accepted, and sexy for a man etc. Men don't experience it to that magnitude!!! Look at IG, it has been proven it has a negative impact on the psyche of young women, due to impossible beauty standards that are influenced by marketers and IG models. When men age, they are considered distinguished, and silver foxes, while women are considered old bags, and undesirable. They are constan…
/r/PurplePillDebate05/11/23 10:06 AM

Okay! I see what you're saying now, in general, if a taken woman is flirting with men, but believes that's alright, but doesn't want her man to experience the same thing, that's definitely a double standard. However, it doesn't do anyone favors to fight fire with fire. At that point, those ppl should not be together if it makes a man feel better to level the playing field by flirting with women too.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 11:15 PM
1

So what if I am! You're original statement that 'emotionally unavailable men should be allowed to flirt with other women, simply because of the behavior of other men' is you stating how you value relationships with women, and I'm simply contributing to the discussion. Lol I guess brotherhood isn't valued the same way some women value sisterhood. I'm sure if I said something in agreement with ur original statement, you'd feel otherwise ✌️
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 11:04 PM
4

Lol that's not Gate keeping! It's simply monogamy, and showing respect for your partner. A lady cannot control other men's behavior, but she can control how she responds to it, and when she only has eyes for you, other men don't stand a chance. Your logic is to level the playing field, by flirting with other women. But how would u expect that to work out? If anything ever escalates you'll have to tell them you're in a committed relationship, but either way you're only leading on poor women, just…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 10:33 PM

I've never been in a long-term committed relationship with a man, but from my experience with a few short-term flings.. I was wanting sex every day with them, and every time I saw them. So idk if that qualifies me to answer, but I initiated at least 50% of the time
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 08:03 PM
12

Sir, nothing is wrong with a woman being hit on. She can not control the behavior of other men taking an interest in her. Just as men would be flattered at the same thing. However, the way a woman responds is where the money is at. A lady who loves, respects, and appreciates her gentleman and vice versa, will only have eyes for her Bae. Trying to level out the playing field by intentionally seeking validation from other women just indicates maybe he's not ready for a relationship with 1 person
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 07:59 PM
7

if you've chosen and agreed to monogamy, then it's okay for neither gender because an honest person with morals will practice it, regardless of where they are, or who they're surrounded by. Relationships aren't about validation, if you truly love someone and know yall are solid, yall can be anywhere and do anything, and ur Bae will always have eyes for you and the trust is mutual. Here's an example of something I've experienced: On St. Patty's day, like 2 years back I was at a bar, and noticed a…

Jealousy is a universal emotion that anyone can experience. I agree with what you are saying, but I don't believe jealously is feminine, or makes men feminine. But rather, the resentment they've internalized from women just makes them a less masculine man, who is not in touch with the full essence
/r/PurplePillDebate31/10/23 07:23 PM
-3

Sir, it's actually not natural. We are social creatures meant to bond, procreate, and thrive together with all life on earth. Ppl who operate from a place of resentment and disdain toward the other half of the human population are not in alignment with their essence. Just think of yourself as a child. We love and care about so much regardless of gender. Ppl just become corrupt due to societal conditioning and unprocessed emotions from life experiences

27F here. When it comes to men, I find them appealing based on their character and the energy that attracted me to them, and not so much what I may receive from them, ie sex/relationships

That's soo beautiful and amazing 🥹
/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/23 12:25 AM

27F here! Never been in a relatonship with a man, but the most romantic thing I've done is kiss a man on the forehead. Also, holding their hand, and having deep conversations talking about life, our desires/fears/goals etc, while music plays, in a low lit livingroom. NSFW but it's romantic to me, to satisfy him with a BJ and make him feel loved and cared for 😍 something about it is stimulating to me as well 🥰🥵

👍👍 honestly u sound like a dude who went thru a divorce and just wanna run with this narrative that ppl divorce because they are shitty, in order to make yourself feel better that it was the wife who was a shitty person or something. I've never been married, but I don't have negative views on it, like u do. I feel that ppl who have strong judgements on something probably went thru that themselves

Ok Dr. Phil. Also a tip I'd learned from my therapist. The desire and need for change always comes from within a person. No external force can never change a person. That's why relationships fail when girls or guys think "I can change them"
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 06:49 PM

Good for you! Lol me saying ppl change isn't making an excuse for horrible behavior. But what do I know, you must have surveyed the millions of ppl in order to make such harsh definitive judgments

Ok well it's not black and white like that lol. You can say incorrect all u want, but thats not how i see it. If someone grows and changes in their own life, then things that were a part of those old habits won't serve that person the same anymore. This is a common thing ppl experience in therapy in the process of healing. I've went thru this myself, the more my therapist worked with me, the more my subconscious programming changed and became more positive. And certain things no longer served me…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 04:53 PM

Feelings always change sir. The feelings you've had about certain things in life like 5 years ago, I'm sure are not the same today. Times change, ppl change. That's the beauty of being a fluid human being.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 04:23 PM
1

Well sir! This is my opinion, and from what I have seen from ppl around me, when it's come to separation/divorce. I've seen ppl happily in love and married for years, then overtime the feelings change to the point where they split and now live separate lives. So it doesn't make sense for you to casually invalidate ppls thoughts and opinions. You are not the arbiter of relationships and you most def aint God.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 03:01 PM
1

Exactly sir, but we attract ppl based on how we feel abiut ourselves and others. If you desire to be surrounded by positive women, then ur energy toward women must be positive as well. I'm sure you wouldn't wanna be surrounded by women who only talk about "men ain't shit" and "all my problems come from men" that would push u away because its highly unattractive
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 12:21 AM

Sounds great, kind sir 🫡
/r/PurplePillDebate25/10/23 12:06 AM

Ok! But the red pill involves expanding your consciousness and accepting the realities of the world and universe, opposed to taking an ego centric view of things. It's universally true that we attract who we are, or at least who we believe we are. So if you simply don't like your dating prospects, then simply change the mindset you use to attract women
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 11:50 PM
1

Sir I'm not trying to argue. I'm simply providing my unbiased take on the situation based on what you have provided. Never have I spoken down about you, or said anything in favor of the woman. I'm just giving you advice based on universal concepts I've learned from reading books. But it's whatevs, the red pill is difficult for some ppl to swallow

I don't understand! You say money isn't a thing, but the whole premise of your post is you complaining about spending it on women. At the end of the day its all about energy, you attract ppl based on ur own internal core beliefs. You say you expect courtesy from her, but had no problem treating her some type of way, once you decided you weren't happy with her. A courteous person will always politely decline, instead of bailing. So if anything, you attracted that girl into your life based on your…

I'll show u a picture 📸 check your chat inbox, dude or dudette!! You're in for a treat 🤓 because nothing is impossible
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:56 PM

Ok, what does this have to with what I previously said. If you acknowledge that some women are fit, and others are more heavy set, then that just goes to show everyone's body is different and we all carry muscle and fat differently
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:55 PM
-1

Dude, I never said that. Men who expect sex after a meal, and women who expect free everything, with little to no investment are equally not okay. That's what I meant by transactional "love". This is my take: a man spending money doesn't equate to treating her well. Rather, a man who embraces and respects a woman for who she is as a person, is how he treats her well. Does he spend time getting to know her? Is he interested in taking it further based on what he likes about her? The same applies t…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 10:49 PM

Okay but the parameters you are using to decide if someone is obese, is literally based on numbers and judgement. Everyone stores muscle and fat differently.

Okay I understand that! But if she crossed a boundary for you when she ordered champagne, I don't understand why make a scene at the end, when being assertive at the beginning would've made things progress in your favor more, possibly. If the date was mutually agreed upon then nothing is wrong with the dude paying unless it was agreed upon to split the check beforehand, instead of surprising her. It's often a kind jester men extend to the woman, traditionally, on the first date, as it gives her …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 09:37 PM

Sir, how is that horrific? Spending too much time on quantity and numbers can really take its toll on ppl in life. I'm 5'2" and when I was in the army, a healthy weight for me was 160 lbs, and on top of that I was lean and had all kinds of muscle and am the fastest and strongest I ever was in life. On paper, if you were to see my weight, dudes like you would judge the hell out of that, but when ppl physically saw me, everyone knew I was healthy and fit. Bro, you need to learn everyone's body is …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 09:22 PM

Yea exactly! Makes sense from your comment. Just leaving a situation instead of choosing to learn and grown from it, just causes you to perpetuate the same cycles, but with new women. Sounds like Groundhog day, with the blue pill! Enjoy that life sir
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 09:05 PM
0

Sir, you should be grateful for life instead of blaming everything on women. A womans' body is simply a vessel to nurture and deliver you, but everything else happened due to the work of God and the universe. Comments like this is exactly why male lonliness is a real and growing epidemic. How can you ever expect to make great connections with women, with so much negativity?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:54 PM
1

Actually all of these things you've mentioned are all things men perpetuate themselves. These complaints are simply blaming women, instead of the dude looking inside himself to understand why he is constantly experiencing rejection, loniless etc. The fact that there are a lot of men who don't experice some of these things in that list, shows that it is an individual issue, as opposed to "all men go thru that because of women"
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:46 PM

Imma (27F) be honest if a dude said this to my face, I'd straight up leave him, and move on. The whole point of a date is to be blessed with eachothers' presence and treating her well because she is worth something to you, and vice versa! Especially if you invited her out If you take a woman out a date, just to receive something in return, like sex, then that's just transactional "love", and nothing worth investing in. This only makes it okay for women to seek transactions for you, like free mea…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:39 PM

So much generalization about the entire population of women! I've ditched the whole traditonal 'dine and fvck' situation due to the amount of dudes who think that entitles them to sex just cause they bought me food! It's much more worth both our time to do something simple like coffee/arcade/walk in the park etc. So no! Not all women run away at 'low effort' but maybe the ones you have chosen to attract, do.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:31 PM
1

It's reasonable for women to expect men to pay if you are the one who invited her out. When you think about it, energetically you match with the ppl who are reflections of you! What is your intent with online dating? Some apps are notoriously known for hookups and transactional "love". Not saying this is you, but if you were only expecting sex at the end, then that is no different from this girl expecting you to pay. When you make bold statements, like "women just expect men to pay, even on bad …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 08:22 PM

Right!! I agree! We as humans are very fluid and always growing and changing. Someone who you may love dearly at the start of marriage, may change as the years go on. A lot of ppl seem to fear divorce, but if anything I think it's a reflection of how feelings change, as time progresses.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 07:54 PM

Dude! You don't know this woman, yet you are telling her about her own life experiences, just to defend the dude. When you should be taking notes, because if you ever end up in a situation like this with a wife/gf you may have an idea of why she's not fvcking u

So then if that's why you want, align yourself with what you want out of life and everything else will fall into place. But then turn around and whine when women only want yall for the very thing you use to attract them 🤔 Might I remind you kind sir, it is the kindness a man leads with, and the respect and appreciation he treats ladies with. /r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 03:02 PM
1

Sir, we attract who we are, or at least who we 'believe' we are. If you are attracting women into your life that are subpar to your expectations, and have high requirements then that is only a reflection of your own core beliefs. You said it yourself, "not even a debate, women" therefore, whatever you tell yourself, is exactly what the universe will confirm for you. It's all In the book "the Power of your subconscious mind" great and insightful read BTW
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:59 PM

Dude based on ur comments it just seems like you're looking for validation that supposedly women have higher standards. Why ask a question to the general public, if you're not willing to at least respect peoples' opinions 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:51 PM

It's not black and white like that. I believe men and women can simultaneously all have unrealistic standards and expectations, just depends 9n the person. In dating, I've met men who have unrealistically high standards that were based on porn, and I've met women who simply want everything given to them, while putting in little to no effort.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/10/23 02:42 PM
3

Yes, this 100%. I've been running into the same thing. Everytime I've met a dude on those dating apps, there is always something emotional they're holding onto, and bring into our casual fling. Like they've been cheated on, they got out of a long term connection etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 04:53 AM

Right! These standards you speak of, I mostly hear about them on social media. I think it's so amazing how men and women will have long checklists of their person, but then when you go out into real life, You see everyday people of all shapes and sizes, and from different walks of life, and it makes me wonder why we spend so much time on these lists instead of just meeting real people in our daily lives. I don't agree! "Red pilled" men create themselves. Just how Keanu Reeves made his OWN decision to take the red pill in the Matrix, men choose to accept how they want to see their own reality. We are all individuals with the freedom to make our own decisions, and our actions are solely OUR responsibility. Blaming women for who a man chooses to be everyday is not the ladies' fault, it's his own for not taking accountability for the self-love he needs. What you are saying only makes it okay for wom…

That's just societal conditioning. Women who truly value men consider everything holistically opposed to what he can provide. What the hell? Nothing I said was meant to imply only women take accountability, while men don't. All I'm implying is, when a relationship ends sometimes ppl never look at what went wrong and how they BOTH contributed. So if a dude is hopping from girl to girl, not looking at what he brought to the relationship amd what went wrong, how he contributed etc, then he's not being accountable, same goes for women. Let's just agree to disagree. You keep making statements about me that aren't necessarily true when it comes to mating and attraction. Even though I'm 27, dating is new to me so therefore I don't do or care about half of the things ur even complaining about. But ur talking to me as if you know who I am and what I desire. I don't turn around and blame all men for things I've went through because I have no past with ex bfs, and such. The only masculine traits I care about are his independence, can…

If you feel that all women are attracted only to money/status/looks then you are sadly mistaken, and hanging around the wrong ladies, or u spend too much time on social media. And you contradict yourself! Explain this to me: you mention you pay for EVERYTHING for ladies you like, but then get upset that they aren't showing more interest. So then shouldn't that serve as an example that women deep down DONT care for money and what a man does for them materially? Hmm 🤔 It's just funny how you try t…

Because every woman is different, and can live their lives as they please. We don't all think in unison, like a monolith. Some women, such as myself, feel that dating and relationships are unnecessary at some moments in life, where other women, live based on their relationships. I don't understand the need to compare

Because we live in a society that over prioritizes sex. Everything has always been catered to fulfill the male gaze, look at porn. Look at how women are portrayed in the media. Society js constantly coming up with new ways to keep selling sex to men because supply and demand, and AI bots r the next up and coming thing

I agree that male loniless is as epidemic, but i dont think AI bots are solely to blame on women. I disagree with you on friendzoning. Women genuinely take a romantic interest in men who are forward and comfortable with their sexuality. A dude who is in the friendzone, puts himself there because he doesn't embrace his sexuality. Friendship and romantic interest are 2 completely different relationships, so if a dude keeps trying to "play it safe" by only being overly nice, she's never gonna get t…

I believe them. Although I agree they are all beautiful, they most likely feel insecure, and struggle to accept a part of themselves. In society, men n women alike are held to this standard of what ideal beauty looks like, and whemevet they feel they don't match it, that's when maybe they feel they are 'ugly'

Noticed this a lot too, and think it has to do with biology, and societal conditioning. I remember learning in biology how in many different animal species, including humans, the females select their male mate, based on the "best", or most dominant traits, in order to produce healthy offspring. In this case, tall is the dominant trait, and is most likely sought after and expressed genetically. Currently tho, I also think there is a fixation on height because our wider society says that tall is m…

I think it’s a bit of a stretch to claim that women are “abnormal” because of less common sexual preferences. Just because a majority of the population is comfortable with having casual sex or choosing to not hold off on sex doesn’t mean the women who don’t are mental/damaged/insane. Everyone has a right to do what they want with their body, and I think it’s discrediting to those who choose to not follow the norm. Take me for example, I’m a 23 year old virgin, by choice and for personal reasons,…

🙋🏾‍♀️ I am, but I choose to hold off, on sex until marriage for personal reasons.

No, I don’t think women are losing out on a high quality guy if she is holding off, on sex. I say this because I (23F) am a virgin and waiting until marriage, for personal reasons. I’ve heard left and right from people that it’s going to be hard for me to find a man but I just think that statement isn’t logical, because 1) that discredits all the other men out there. How does one guy know what other men are willing to consider in a relationship? 2) they aren’t me, and don’t experience what I exp…

Had posted a comment earlier on here but have another idea for answering this question. I’m currently a bio major, and one thing that I’ve learned is that as far as mating, amongst living things, women are the ones in control and pick the male they’d like to mate with. An interesting thing that animals do is mate with the males that have stronger physical and behavioral qualities. Because that means their children will most likely possess those same qualities, ultimately making them more fit for…

This is a very interesting statement, and one that I can attest to. I (23F) started gaining weight around the age of 10 and was my biggest at 18 (around 250 lbs.). When I started college, later that same year, in 2015 I was more in control of my lifestyle and what I was eating and began going to the gym regularly and eating healthy. I lost a significant amount of weight, and am constantly reminded of how attractive/beautiful I am. I’m still the same person with the same body and face, but becaus…

As a female, I can attest to this. I’m not saying I only want a man with a 6-pack, I only think it’s attractive because it shows that they are disciplined as far as health and fitness. But at the end of the day, I appreciate all body types.

I think this has to do with the idea that, as far as attractiveness, a lot of people will base qualities of their ideal companion on materialistic and superficial things. For example, there’s the running joke that women won’t even consider a man if he’s under 6 feet tall. And then one of the most common stereotypes, that women only want a man with a bigger package. The same goes for men who prefer women with a smaller build, but require all their “assets” to be bigger. But the problem is these a…

I haven’t dated a lot, but literally a year ago and pretty recently, actually, I was talking to a couple men (with the intention of dating if things worked out) but it ended up not working out. Mostly due to miscommunication, but there were other factors as well. With one guy it turned out we wanted different things, he wanted casual sex, but I’d rather wait and develop a friendship first and see where it goes from there. With the most recent guy I was talking to (we kinda had a LDR going on), h…

Yea, just some food for thought. We should be helping each other and looking up to one another, because for every boomer that retires, there is most likely a millennial that is a recent college grad filling a lower level position. Personally, I have a lot of respect for Boomers as they are wise and have seen a lot. Therefore I think it is only right for them, along with gen x’ers to pass down advice or something beneficial that can help a 20-something, instead of complaining that we are just thi…

I mean, I understand that every 14-16 years or so is a new generation of people, but I don’t understand why we are divided between generations. One thing that we all need to realize is that young adults and teens who are reaching maturity are in a time period that is vastly different from people who achieved maturity in the 80s or 90s in the gen X generation, or the 60’s in the boomer generation. We have far more access to technology than any generation that does expose kids, teens and young adu…

This is an interesting statement because for me it’s the reverse. I am 23F and before I deleted my tinder account, several matches would say some cheesy pickup line. I never understood it, I admired their cleverness and creativity, but it became tiring after so many men pulled this. I’m talking 10-15+ men, and this is part of why tinder. Is. Not. For. Me. Don’t care too much for small talk, but I value the start of a conversation that is slow and dry over a corny pick-up line, anyway. So I agree…

I don’t lie about the men I find attractive. I don’t find “ripped” men attractive, but do find athletic and fit men attractive. I value maintaining a healthy lifestyle, by following a plant-based diet and going to the gym regularly. So my ideal man is someone who shares similar lifestyle interests and hobbies to myself, (like going to the gym) therefore, I take no shame in my attraction to muscular men. No one should take shame in “hurting others’ feelings”, when expressing what they’re attracte…
