| 4 | "It occurred to me that if 86 percent of adolescent suicides were girls, there would be a national commission to find out why." The American Association of Suicidology has an expert on female suicide but not on male suicide because funders aren't interested in studying boys and men.Sure it's occurred to me, but it's also occurred that my armchair is a very comfortable armchair. | 5 | Hotels discriminate against menSeeing as these are private establishments, they are free to attract customers as they see fit. They are not. I'm unfamiliar with the details, but a U.S. business (public or private) is not free to discriminate based upon race, gender, religion, or sexuality. The argument being made is that this a case of illegal gender discrimination, and that people are only looking the other way because it's discrimination against men. | /r/MensRights | 11/02/09 10:37 AM |
