1	Failing a shit test or avoiding unwanted advances? I personally would have at least tried to escalate, most likely in a humorous way. For example the first time she told you to stay downstairs because of her room, you could have said something like "but I have to inspect your room to make sure you're not an undercover assassin..." The comedy in that helps her relax, and prevents her from over analyzing the situation. Then you could've just assumed you were coming up after that and walked right in with her.
