There is nothing dangerous about being anti feminist.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/09/24 07:32 PM

But its also not necessary. Being antifeminist is not inherently wrong.

I support womens rights. I am also vehemently antifeminist.

I have a real problem every time i hear this. As a man, I frequently get my concerns ignored by doctors and dismissed as anxiety or stress or whatever. So much so that my cancer went undiagnosed for a number of years. I have no doubt women also experience similar problems. But when women experience it, they think without evidence that its because they are a woman. Similarly, ive also been told how much easier it is to get doctors to agree to sterilize you as a male. Make no mistake, this is wome…

Im tired of mods who think they own the communities and try to control what can and cant be posted Just let upvotes and downvotes serve their purpose.

So do you tell women to keep their legs shut then? I'm sure you're an ardent pro lifer?

Thats fine, but statutory rape is a legal term.

Feminism is for men too cant coexist with feminism as a concept. If it was for men too it would be called egalitarianism

Which i should add to this, the idea of labor being an issue of bodily autonomy should not be an alien concept for left wing movements. But because it involves men, here we are. Highly controversial.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates04/09/24 03:19 AM

Another is that abortions are a medical choice or a health decision. This is false as women rate the number one reason for getting an abortion to be financial limitations Even if you grant that it's true (and I am willing to), "my body my choice" should extend to men here as well. Unless you are highly affluent, 18 years of child support is something that will come directly from the labor from your body, and this will not be without significant negative medical impact. There's several reasons me…

Damn bro, imagine thinking a typo is something you can judge someone's intelligence by. That's unironically one of the most room temperature IQ takes I've seen this decade.

People are struggling to understand you because you are incoherent. Above, you replied to someone saying that the punishment for the false accusation should equal the time he could have served with "That's a bad practice". Then in this comment, you say "The penalty should be the same as the penalty for rape". It's exactly the same fucking thing. Learn to communicate better.
/r/MensRights01/09/24 05:24 AM

rape accusations are still not even remotely close to the trauma of rape Says who exactly? The fear of being locked up for years if not decades and having my social status ruined would be wildly traumatic.

Ask any feminist why they don't help men. She'll tell you: "It's not my problem." Is she wrong? Why is it her job to do our advocacy for us? In my opinion, this is the core of why feminism's monopoly on any discussion on gender equality is so harmful
/r/MensRights26/08/24 10:10 PM

Maybe men as a group would commit less crimes if they were treated less like dogshit by the world and by people like you. Men are far more likely to be homeless, to be the financial backbone of their family unit, and to be punished more harshly for the same crime. When applied to any other group this is called intersectionalism. Why is it never applied to men? Because of active hostility from feminism Just food for thought.
/r/MensRights26/08/24 10:07 PM
52

It's also our experience that feminists, like you, are hostile towards male advocacy in any form. But of course you think only one of these matters. Eat shit, hypocrite.

They engage in lip service to mens advocacy, as a means to control and stomp out actual mens advocacy.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/08/24 01:03 PM
76

They want to monopolize the conversation on gender equality, so that they can quash mens advocacy. Fixed that for you.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/08/24 10:58 AM
6

I would agree with your statement. Do you think feminists should be willing to listen to and empathize with mens discomfort with the term "toxic masculinity" and rename it to something like "toxic gender norms"? Because as is they are entirely resistant, and say that mens feelings should not be taken into consideration.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/08/24 10:31 PM
6

Feminism is incompatible with male advocacy and is misandrist at its core due to concepts fundamental to feminism like patriarchy theory and toxic masculinity. if you believe in either of these concepts, youre doing more harm than good. if you dont believe these concepts, then you arent a feminist.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/08/24 09:38 PM
5

Not sure whether these idiologies have an equivalent of patriarchy theory at their core that paints outsiders as the source of all evil. My guess is they dont.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/08/24 03:22 AM
5

Feminism without misandry doesnt exist. Feminism is too deeply rooted in ideas like patriarchy theory and toxic masculinity.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/08/24 02:53 AM

We also want womens rights to exist. Equality is egalitarianism, not feminism.

Not being a feminist would be a good start.

And at the end of his co-ed secondary school, he concluded that he was glad he’d had so many girl mates because they were so much more mature than he was. His self-awareness pleased me. Even this kind of statement by the author is highly problematic. She rants about female supremacy, but this kind of statement betrays that she herself has a subconscious tendancy towards female supremacy. She just doesnt like it when it hurts HER son.

ultimately the morning after poll is another option that women, not men, control. suggesting it as a response to mens lack of options is hideously disingenuous
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates31/07/24 12:06 AM
5

thats because they view sex / pregnancy as something men do TO women. not something that two partners engage in equally.

I'm a staunch mens rights activist. But feminist or not, I'm voting for Harris. Fuck trump.

I agree it says that. Pretty sure everyone here does. I still think it's involuntary servitude. What they wrote is just how they justify it.

I absolutely believe most feminists, if they wouldn't say it themselves, would defend or be sympathetic to the comment

I had a whole interaction with someone who was gleeful that I have cancer because I support men's rights - was told it doesn't violate reddits policy.

This reads like a sexist schizo rant
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates02/07/24 03:00 AM

Yes, me taking this position is me trying to make it good for men too. Meanwhile you're out there acting like it's a fucking issue
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/06/24 10:08 AM

So make it good for men too.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates24/06/24 09:45 AM

I don't see it as a separate issue. What is that phrase feminists like to roll out all the time? When you're accustomed to privelige, equality feels like oppression. No abortion rights is equality with men, not oppression. We deal with it, so the fuck can you.

Financial. Abortions. Give us some semblance of the same rights women enjoy or don't expect us to give a rats ass about abortion.

I'm assuming you're referring to abortion rights. What rights do men have in this area? Literally nothing at all.

Even race is not as simple as the narrative the left (or you) brings to the table. See: The irish, slavs, the japanese colonial empire, etc. The fact that "white" people were the primary perpetrators of colonialism and slavery to the left means that white people can be essentialized as colonizers and racists. It's a human condition, not a racial one. If africa, india, or anyone else had the technological advantage they would have done the exact same thing.

According to feminist subreddits, reddit as a platform/community is wildly antifeminist and misogynist. It's beyond at odds with reality.
