32, married, divorced. Getting married on her terms and walking away on mine has left me with incredible confidence and serious radar for bullshit. Every girl I have dated has shown me a sign of how they would behave in a LTR and physically and emotionally turned me off like a fucking faucet. One snappy response, one "you work too much," shit even just one simple criticism of my life and I'm out. I even tell them why and a few hours later they are saying sorry. I don't have time in life for thes…

Where and how do we draw the line between asking for attention and asking for support when needed? Is it OK here because we trust each other? I'm asking because I'm I'm curious. OP - Sorry for your loss and thanks for the po…

The opposite of her reaction is what I was subject to. She makes comments placing blame for her immediate unhappiness on me. I respond with logic, she gives me the silent treatment for a day. When I stopped pretending to care the marriage fell apart. Turns out she is a narcissist who needs me to be constantly appeasing her. I rolled on my own terms and she's losing her mind. NEVER AGAIN

There was a post in deadbedrooms a while back with a calculator to figure out your cost per sexual encounter as a married man. mine was something north of $30,000. I left.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
