These apps were awesome 7 years ago. Unfortunately the novelty wore off, the money making kicked in, and culture has shifted so much that every woman is now a narcissist trying to get instagram followers. Tinder was badass when you could swipe forever and women were actually using it to date.

I'm still not sure what that has to do with the subconscious and things like dreams which are out of conscious control. What actions would one take to prevent blue-pill dreams?

I think there are always exceptions, just like with the Millennial generation. I think the majority is expected to be on the opposite end of the spectrum, due to seeing the results of the outrageous politically correct push, being told their innately evil if they're men, and having a 'coming of age' while watching mentors like PewDiePie, who have for the most part been against this new extreme ideology. Instead of being on the offensive or defensive, they've for the most part viewed this shit-sh…

I'd like to think so, the media would have everyone believe otherwise. Gen Z has me hopeful that the pendulum is going to swing ridiculously far back into men's favor over the next 10 years.

The only thing that changes is when or why it happens. Good looking guys usually get accused down the road, either because they've rejected the woman who thought it would turn into a relationship or because the woman feels the accusation can extort something from the man (money, fame, power). He mentions that good looking guys also get accused but that's not the overall idea. Everyone else would face immediate rejection unless there's an exception (money, power, game, fame). I'm not sure why and…

Thanks for everyone's advice. Sounds like this is somewhat normal and the consensus is definitely finding a social hobby. Learning to dance was one of the few hobbies I never tried. I remember going to a bar some of my Mexican friends took me to and thinking "Damn, I wish I could do that".

Big and strong attracts rough hoes who are ready and willing and guys who wanna know how to get big. During the day people get out of your way, during night at bars you can stand out to people who want to fight. You stand out with your shirt on, yet disappoint when it's off and people expect a six pack. Being ripped and fit attracts more reserved/girl next door types and guys that say it's easy to have a six pack if you have no muscle. You look skinny with a shirt on and sexy with your shirt off…

If you ask me, I'd say the guy above just wanted to make himself feel superior by talking down to you. He gave you no constructive criticism, just an insult and then proceeded to tell you that you can't be helped. The man has never taken your dick, he has no clue how good you are in bed. I found myself in your situation when I was younger. I think it comes from over investment. Did you let the girl know you were interested and lay all your cards on the table too soon? If you tell them everything…

Dude, try and take out some loans and go to college or the military or something and get out of that town. You're either in the wrong town or chilling with the wrong crowds in it. If they took your picture they're likely keeping you on a shit list if you come around again.

She said that but only after an argument. If she was willing, she would have done it the second she realized it made her current LTR uncomfortable. You didn't trust her because your instinctive and rational part of your brain calculated her actions, resistance, and typical behavior. The decision was that there is low probability in her keeping her word. The emotional part of your brain then took over and reneged on that thought process, which is where you apologized and placed yourself as the pe…

They're into you until they're not, at which point they were just being nice. You know when you hear physicists talk about how electrons can actually be in two places at once and we just calculate where they're most likely to be at a particular point in time? That's pretty much analogous to a female's emotions and reasoning.

Attempting to reason with an LTR who is still in contact with an ex or fuck buddy is futile. The relationship is over, not maybe and not because she wants it to be. The relationship is going to be over because you want it to be. This road leads to her crawling back and you at least having the pleasure of rejecting her. The other possible road, is that she calls you back up for her power play, to hear you belittle yourself in attempt to have her take you back. She'll get pleasure from this and th…

That's when they change their profile pic to their child because they're a "package deal" and she's tired of fuck boys! Remember, it's the man's fault she showed her naked ass on a dating app and then spread her legs for the dick that came after she agreed to meetup with a stranger. I'll never understand why people think it's appropriate to advertise their kids on dating apps.

Yes, the less amount of bf you hold, the more drastic each increment looks from the other. Think about it, if you're at 10% total bf and you lose another 1%, you've just lost 10% of all the body fat you hold. In comparison, if you're at 20% and you lose an additional 2% (double the amount in the example we used earlier) you've still only lost 10% of all the body fat you hold.

She wants another provider while she keeps taking dick and money from others. I've never understood why women even make this statement, it's redundant. What else could you initially be? It's not like it's common for people to meet, then immediately start fucking. It's a way for her to disrespect you by having you sign a contract. This way, after she expects you to pay for her meals, you can't get mad when Chad picks her up from the meal, thanks you for the food, and fucks her. Cause you know, yo…

You're brother may hate you for it, but what if you were able to ask if you could prove it to him? What if you got him on your side, let his wife molest you again, secretly recorded it, and saved him from his whore wife divorce raping him in the future?

I don't think you have to be a Chad who's slept with triple digits to make this decision. Just like you don't have to try sucking dick to realize it's not for you. The average Joe could come to this conclusion and realize after the few shitty relationships he's had, it's just not worth it. If you're number is in the 20's and you're in your 20's, I'd say you have more than enough experience to come to a conclusion. It also has a purpose. I'm struggling from the opposite end of the spectrum. From 18 to 23 i was a hardcore gym rat. Arnold was god and the gym was my church. I wanted to be a bodybuilder and took it as far as I could. I got to armature competition size but never competed, to the point where chicks were telling me to stop lifting or not get any bigger. Eventually I burnt out, finished my bachelors degree and kept working full time. Then i joined a boxing gym and felt better than ever. I lost 20lbs of muscle and fat bu…

I've never though of 20s being far away from 30, even at the age of 18. Now that I'm heading in that direction, I find that younger girls are more attracted to me now than they were then. My gramps was 10 years older than my gma though, so maybe it runs in the family. I'm always assumed to be 24 or 25.

I used to think alcohol increased my ability to socialize. As I got older I realized no matter how social awkward or shy I thought I was, I had more ladies initiating conversations and holding them with me more often than when I was drinking. Then I had a few experiences where I thought I was too drunk to talk to girls who would try and dance with me or whatnot. Now I pretty much avoid drinking, drink a single beer or two, or don't go out at all. Idk about other people here but I think they view…

If she's not acting interested, it's almost certain it's because she has a potential fuck or hangout session with a guy who has higher SMV. This is why they'll make plans with you at the last minute (if it doesnt work out), or cancel your plans (if it is working out for her). They have a list and everyone in it is ranked. Guys move up and down the list, but if you're not at the top, this is what happens. If you date this girl, you'll likely see trickle truth come out down the road, or find out o…

I agree; I've had the boyfriend line used on me before, but mostly because they actually had a boyfriend. You still find out if they're interested or not by accepting the answer and waiting. Some of the chicks that "had a boyfriend" would initiate contact days later and eventually cheat, some really used it as a soft rejection. I even had a girl at a college party tell me to "get in line" when I told her I wanted to stay the night with her, to which everyone busted out laughing, including myself…

Doctors overprescribe and "suggest" those medications to nearly every person who says they're stressed out during a visit. Medication doesn't mean you've been clinically diagnosed with a depressive disorder. Look at the increased usage since the 90s. In 2014 nearly 1 in 5 people had taken the medication in the past 30 days. The fact is these thoughts are common. You have likely had or will have them at some point in your life. Drugs are overprescribed and can make it better or worse. It's taboo …

Boyish good looks do exist. This idealist male expressed here works but it's not the only form of male attractiveness. Youth is highly focused on in our culture. I'd say Justin Bieber, Marky Mark, Harry Styles, Channing Tatum, James Dean, and DiCaprio all fit the bill. Hate on guys like that all you want, but there's definitely more than one way to be attractive and be male. There's also a variation to the story, where the scorpion does not sting the frog, keeping his promise. When they reach the other side the frog has a bird waiting to eat the scorpion. The scorpion asks, Why? I didn't sting you." To which the frog replies, "Because you're a scorpion." Now the lesson of the story is not just one telling us that at our core, everyone eventually reveals their true nature. It's also one with a lesson of default. Eventually one party will default and whomever defaults…

He's a sellout who's lost all respect and admiration from me. The dude went from telling it like it is, to pandering to the mass hysteria as long as it makes him stay relevant. The hypocrisy is amazing. He talked about taking kids from columbine, lining them up, adding more guns, and killing them all in his songs. Agree with everything besides the nofap point and the bodyweight fitness point. Jacking off releases a large amount of chemicals that your brain can only produce a limited amount of over time. In excess this can lead to depression and is showing similar brain activity as that found in drug addicts. A long way to go before there is a definite answer, but it is plausible. Whether the effect is mental or physical, if it's working for some people, let them do it. Refraining won't hurt you. At least …

The US ranks #11 in healthcare performance, yet it spends more on healthcare than any other country in the world, while being the only high-income country to lack universal healthcare. If we're the best, how is it that others are providing all their people with healthcare, while beating us in both quality and cost performance?

One of the 48 laws of power is "Never outshine the master". That same concept can be heard in many forms: "Never bite the hand that feeds", etc. The trick is to follow the other 48 rules and get them to flow together. If you mask something that is of your benefit as being mutually beneficial for the both of you, or strictly for someone else, they'll do what you want and love you for it.

Good point, I think even here in the US engineering would be an exception. Even though you can do many things with it, it's super specific in that there's not any other majors or tech schools that could equip someone well enough to readily take those jobs. I had a friend that did mechanical engineering and got an entry level job making 80k.

This is the problem with getting a bachelor's these days. It's great to get an education and develope neural pathways by being exposed to general concepts. However, unless you're going for something super specific like nursing or being a doctor you end up with one semester of computer science, one of a foreign language, one of each chemistry, math, etc, and come out with no actual skills. It's why everyone wants work experience, bootcamps, or tech school graduates.

The majority of young men are 90s children, such as myself. We were told since our youth that sensitivity, grunge, and Disney movies were how the world works. I've learned since being here that the saying "Idle hands are the devils playground" is really referring to your mind. The more we obsess over the female, the more we create an idealized version of her that doesn't exist. This is another reason to get rid of social media if you can't control your addiction. It stops you from seeing constant imagery of a chick you haven't yet tasted, and one she's fabricated at that. If you held candy in front of a child's face, they'd create an imagined taste, o…

The only good thing that comes out of any intimacy with a female is orgasms, offspring, and a possible companion for when you get old and decrepit. The thought might pass saying "Well I don't want to die alone", but we all die alone. Life isn't the "Notebook" where you die in your sleep, 5 minutes apart, in the same bed, all because you spent years chasing the "one" while she banged other guys. Luckily

For those of us that hadn't discovered this in high school and are working on this now. If you were like myself and never approached in high school, but somehow still managed to bang good looking chicks and land in the double digits, it's all in your head! I guess holding frame and being "daddy" would say to go through the effort to give her the money back. Wouldn't psychology say otherwise? The more people do for you the more they feel they've invested and the more they begin to care. That would be in favor of keeping the money. It might also show her that you don't really care that much and if she wants to give you money you'll do as you please with it.

Healthy heads of hair on men have always signified virility and strength. Shaved heads have usually signified a restart, ridding of ones identity, or belonging to a group of likeminded individuals. If your hair is thinning or balding, by all means shave it. It looks better and it shows that you're confident in your body. Some men look better with shaved heads and some with longer hair. The fact is none of us know any of the things you stated in the beginning for certain. Not believing in a meaning to life, a higher power, or anything after death is the same type of logic as believing the opposite, so stating it as fact isn't the best idea. Oh, you're right in this situation. I can agree with that. It wouldn't be the one or place to give advice like that, especially if you weren't fond of the guy in the first place. That's ridiculous. That in turn perpetuates feminine control in society, creating this whole thing in the first place. Imagine if all men weren't brainwashed since childhood and there were no Petes? Women would be forced to be more loyal, faithful, and wouldn't think that their shit smells like roses with the only reason being they get thousands of Instagram likes.

This is what it was/still kinda is from me. Not as bad anymore but I can distinctly remember oneitis kicking in when I met a girl. Back when you're too beta, any female who loooks super good to your liking gets imaginary personality attributes starched to her, even though you don't know her. None of them have hobbies, work on theirselves, or know who they are. If they're somewhere, doing anything, it's always for the underlying reason of attention. It's like thinking a nice car's opinion matters…

That's the truth. Less flexibility, needs more oxygen, slower, and harder on the joints.

My favorite ones are the hot females (that have always been hot) posting pics and talking about how they used to be called "too skinny" but are now happy with their body. Poor hot chicks :'( I'm sure they're rather be fat. You know you've hit rock bottom when you have nothing to complain about, so you use the fact that you have too much of a good thing to get more attention.

I don't think you sound like that at all. That's actually a good point you brought up. Sounds pretty similar to the "Got Milk" ads that used to say you needed to drink a ton of milk to get strong bones, then they eventually forced those ads off the air. If someone has a healthy diet, they're in shape, and they've done enough activity to know what their body needs, I totally agree with you. I think the average person (especially Americans) could use a gallon a day, with all the shit people eat. I…

I'm 167cm in height, but I have a big frame, so walking around and training without dieting I sit at around 157. My coach likes me to get down to welterweight or around 140, but I think I'd like to get even lower than that for speed. I used to want to be big and can put on muscle easily, boxing is a whole different ball game though. It's odd how it makes you want to get lean as possible and even lose muscle, whereas most guys and even myself in the past just want to get as big as possible. Depen…

The rule of thumb for most dietitians and Colleges that study medicine is that if you're thirsty you're already dehydrated, granted it's not on a dangerous level, but it is present. Think about it this way, your body is made up of 60% water. Every metabolic function and process requires water, even digesting food. If you're working out you're sweating profusely, if it's hot you're sweating. Alcohol, caffein, sugar, and salt all dehydrate you pretty intensely. Store your water in whatever works b…

Exactly, a bottle of water is around 16.9ml, so 8 of them throughout the day and you have a gallon or around 3.3L of water.

It's all about risk vs reward. If you're already in the shower and cold showers have potential good side effects and no bad sides, why not just turn it on cold for a few? It wakes you up, closes your pores, and increases discipline regardless. Everything else I pretty much agree with.

I get guys st work asking me how I get cut every spring for boxing and it drives me crazy. The reason being they know what to do, they just lack the discipline. The biggest thing I see is alcoholism. In their minds they're not, but if you're going home and killing 6-12 drinks every night after work (yes that includes beer), you're ruining your workouts and you have a problem. Cut out juice, alcohol, and replace it with at least 8 bottles of water a day and your average Joe will probably lose 10-…

What are those chicks some of us date way back in high school that haven't been with many dudes? Are they about to start the CC (meaning you should smash and dash, looking like that asshole) or are they looking for a beta at that point?
/r/TheRedPill19/04/17 04:21 PM
1

It depends on the woman. Pretending to be beta to a post wall woman is awesome. That's what they're looking for, then after you smash, reveal you're actually young and alpha. However, don't do it to a young one riding the CC. They're looking for alpha, so it will just turn them off and neither of you will get anything.

I'd also like to add that after thinking of and picturing the future, 90% of the rest of your thinking should be on the present. If all you do is think of the future, time will fly by, you won't realize that the "now" is what creates that future and the "now" is what will enjoy it. If you fail to realize that, you'll find the future in the past, the past will then be what you're thinking about, and it will be full of regret of how you didn't act enough when you had the chance, to make the future…

Holy shit. Made me have an epiphany. This isn't saying as to go up and "grab me by the pussy". It's telling me to not make the mistake I've been making. I thought back to times where chicks sit too close, talk to close to my face, or grab me by the arm as they say bye or thank you. It's like they're asking to be sexualized. They've been actually making their moves the best they know how and my blue pill ass has been pulling away all those times, as if they got that close to me on accident. Then …

No need to unfriend them, although I've in defriended plenty and went without it for a while. Facebook is pretty superficial. Think about how many friends people have on there compared to how many they actually see in their daily lives. Most of those 'friends' wouldn't know how to get ahold of you and wouldn't know when it's your birthday if it weren't for Facebook constantly reminding them.

Nah, I don't want to get married, let alone fuck my mother. Merely made the statement that we should appreciate single parents for doing the best job they could raising us. Are you so unhappy with your life that you have to come here and spout delusional thoughts and accusations at people? What kind of experience have you had to make you think that's how a healthy relationship with your parent goes? Go into monk mode and sort yourself out.

This is true. They already have a set mental picture of you in their head, which is why first impressions are so important and hard to change later. It goes with looks too. If you had a terrible case of acne or were overweight in middle school, everyone that knew you at that point will picture you like that throughout high school. Everyone else that didn't might think you're a stud.

I'm almost happy to be raised by a single mother. Those of us that have gotta hand it to them, if they raised us on their own for justified reasons. She did her best and I'm grateful, but a female can't also be a male. Granted it had its downsides, like growing up learning those traits. However I almost find it more rewarding that I had to learn how to be a man on my own. It's part of what made me discover TRP. Also I've seen instances, usually when one has siblings, where the oldest child basic…

Wiping the milk off the screen as we speak. This is cringeworthy. I was embarrassed for the dude as I read it. Nothing makes you relate this type of stuff to yourself more than reading someone else do it on a whole different level. Same here! I was awed at what I saw, especially given the fact that I'm a decent looking guy, but usually way too self-conscious to get on the dance floor. I've never seen it actually get a number or get someone laid, but it definitely makes for a fun night out and increases your chances. The most important thing I think it does is increase your feel good vibes and confidence. As long as you're not too drunk, this kind of activity leaves you feeling like you have high SMV and pretty confident fo…

"One thing I hate about TRP is being judged by children who haven't seen 10% of what I have." -- You seem to be too worried about being judged/judging others on inconsequential things. TRP is about helping your fellow males learn, grow, and thrive, not to stroke your ego. Those votes don't affect either of our values in the real world. Downvote away

Damn, I almost forgot that the red pill is supposed to be hard to swallow. Just another reality check showing that things aren't really what we've grown up believing them to be. The post said that if a women makes advances, we should respond with acceptance, not being cold, and not ignoring unless they're doing those things to us first. From what I've read on here, I thought it was good to sometimes go cold on a woman, distance yourself, or make them feel as if they're not always impressing us a…

Instead of wasting a post space, I'll use this thread to ask this questions. It seems appropriate. Recently, a chick I had a little fling with last year randomly texted me, as she now lives next to me and happened to pick up my wifi. Oddly, this was 2 days after she saw me at the college library and I acted like I didn't even notice her, while talking to another chick sitting next to me. I'm guessing this gave her more reason to think I had value and increased her sense of competition. Anyway, s…

I think you've mistaken this Fight Club quote at its face value. It has nothing to do with literally being a self destructive turd. When Tyler says it, he means it in the sense of what people usually think self improvement is, which is everything you see on Facebook. Everyone who's on a diet, gets a promotion, graduates college, makes money, does something fun, hopes they'll get recognition and impress people with it. Thus all your hard work wasn't really for your own benefit. It was only to imp…

Can attest to this. Thought this shit was the answer. Doc put me on it withought any questions asked, except, "do you think you're depressed?". I knew people who went to the same doc and she gave them, literally the exact same drug. Side effects were uncomfortable until my body adjusted, but even then I still slept on average 11-12 hours a night. Constantly tired and lethargic. Didn't even seem to really make a difference. Hey guys, wanted to try and find a thread that related to this, as I didn't think a link would be enough to make starting a new one worth while. By the end of this video this man has a bunch of men release their inner, trapped alpha energy. Relating to the pain, struggle, triumph, and growth that comes from it. With…

In front of everyone, to preserve her ego, she states "get in line" to which myself and everyone laughs. I ended up getting her number. Basically, the only difference between a party slut and a porn star is that they're not being paid for sex and they're not always on camera. Maybe we'd be better off dating porn stars? They'll do everything, do it really well, and they're honest about what they do. But yea it's not just party girls. I'd also watch out for the ones that try really hard to find out your sexual history. Men don't want to know cause we're afraid of what we might hear, although you usually find out from trickle truth…

Exactly. I'm not advocating rape by any means. It's a terrible act. I was pointing out that women tend to confuse rape with everything that isn't rape because it allows them to take back their consent as soon as they regret their actions the next day. If you put yourself in a situation like that and both of your judgments are impaired, you're equally to blame for the sex that you were willing to intoxicatingly have as the other person. If women were given the same privilege for other things whil…

Hopefully that man gets sent to prison for his actions. Men should know better. When two people decide to mutually take part in extremely irresponsible actions like drugs and alcohol, it's known that it's the man's responsibility to stay level headed and not have his judgement clouded by the substances. Men are always giving consent when they have mutual drunken/drug induced sex with a woman, but the woman might not be in her right state of mind. She should be free to do as she pleases without r…

I don't want to downplay rape, but I'm always skeptical if they admit that it wasn't forced. Imagine a gay dude saying he was raped but it wasn't a forceful rape, he was too drunk or on drugs. Nobody would care in that scenario and all the responsibility would be on the male. At what point will someone finally tell females, if you don't want to be put in these kinds of positions, don't dress like a slut, give yourself alcohol poisoning, do a bunch of illegal drugs, and try and fuck everyone at p…

Dated a girl once in college who didn't have her own car. She worked at the school and after work went to her friend's dorm room. Meanwhile I was taking pre workout to go to the gym. At first I politely stated that I had just taken pre workout and had just got to the gym and needed to workout, get it out of my system, then I would be there to pick her up. This is great. It goes to show the hypocrisy of women. They don't want to feel "obligated" to do anything else with a guy if they "allow" him to buy her a meal. In that case why should men feel obligated to a relationship if we have sex with a woman? Oh that's right, cause in their mind they're doing us a favor, since women don't recieve any benefit from sex. I guess we have to accept that they don't perform logic very well.
