It might be creepy for older men to go after young women. Young women are generally immature and less interesting, but they usually have significantly less baggage. This post reads as an attempt to shame older guys into accepting baggage... just, no.

I’m sorry, are you unfamiliar with the well-understood concept of a “man-card”? Men have a duty to perform because they aren’t born valuable, like women are. “Protect the women and children” was an axiom for millenia. Very rarely are (young) women held to the same standard as men. They get further with their looks, they somehow claim minority privileges, and so on. I think this levels out as women age, however.

Men are expected to earn their man-card. Women don’t have to earn a “woman-card”. Those don’t exist because every woman has one.

Supply and demand. As more women do this, they will have their prices continually bid downwards. Not to mention the fact that 3rd world females can access this market of wealthy men. I guarantee they’ll do more for less.

They don’t really need to. They have welfare and child support now. No one really has any reason to form meaningful relationships anymore, outside of their capacity to ameliorate loneliness.

Because chastity is a traditional value and most HVM aren’t traditional. That’s not to say that traditionalism doesn’t increase a man’s value (it does). But you’re talking about the .01% of the liberal elites which are... liberal. High value traditional men do select for chastity.

Telling men to engage in more worthy pursuits isn’t shaming. Your last two points are still trying to enforce a frame that I am outside of. My point isn’t “play nice, you’ll still get pussy.” My point is “Why have so many men been tricked into putting pussy on a pedestal?” Women are probably the highest risk a man can assume in his life. Quality over quantity is key.

This is a boring and unoriginal take. Yes, sometimes behaving unethically will advance your interests further than that of the collective. This is why we have ethics and laws. Why is your goal to get laid? Why isn’t it personal improvement, spiritual transcendence, or happiness? What about meaningful relationships? It says something about a man who allows women to tempt him to abandon his moral code. You’re a slave to your desires and you cope by pretending to be Machiavellian. Maybe it’s true t…

Like I said, women hold the abortion card. Men don’t have the same reproductive right to terminate a pregnancy. So, yeah. When you have total power, you have total responsibility.

You realize non-biological fathers are orders of magnitude more likely to abuse children, right? This argument is insanely stupid on every front
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/20 01:27 PM

This is a false dichotomy. “Single motherhood is better than abuse.” Yeah, no shit. Nobody is arguing for kids to exist in abusive households. We’re asking that women who want to reproduce don’t do so with abusive men. I’d say a similar responsibility falls on men, but women hold the abortion card.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/08/20 01:25 PM

There’s nothing wrong with extended family. There is something wrong with using extended family as an excuse for a permissive culture of sex that has inarguably led to single motherhood. It’s good to have grandparents around, even better to have a father around.

I’m a man so take this with a grain of salt. The good news is that you’ve already made the first step in recognizing the problem. Most people don’t do this and the fact that you have demonstrates that there’s a good chance for you to actualize these improvements. You should know what you need to improve, it should be obvious. If it’s not, here is the heuristic for RP people: Men: How can I become more masculine? Women: How can I become more feminine? There are several answers to these questions.…

Why does it matter if a guy is 5’5”? Technically it doesn’t, but women still select for tall men and they have every right to do so. They also tend to select men who have a history of industriousness, because it indicates a future of industriousness which is a beneficial quality for a long term mate. Imagine if a man has a history of gambling or taking on high-risk / low-reward endeavors. Would a woman select for that? Why or why not? The same is true for promiscuous behavior.

My mother’s biological father ran off on her family when she was super young. She’s wanted nothing to do with him for most of her life and although she was deeply hurt by it, she never spent a significant amount of time bitching about him. People can move on from traumatic experiences. Also 9/10 times I would wager the father isn’t all that abusive and people would rather make themselves into a victim.

It's really easy to gauge these things. I definitely think women are more socially intelligent than men, but it's baffling that women actually think guys can't clue into a woman's character. Here's a non-comprehensive list. Does she talk about other guys in front of you? Ie. Does she fawn over famous artists, actors, in an ostensibly sexual manner? Woman consider this to be insecurity on the part of men, but we can all imagine the response if a man were to do this to a woman. It's cringe. Does s…

We’re taught about great men. That’s pretty much the focus of any history course. However, women don’t select for greatness very well. They select for some of what they think is greatness and then a bunch of subjective / aesthetically pleasing qualities. There isn’t a great measure for “what women want” other than “women want greatness”. I feel like society as a whole encourages people to be great?

Because you should encourage men to be “alpha” for other reasons. By saying “alpha men don’t get treated poorly” you take the responsibility off of the women treating her man poorly and instead blame the man for not being “manly” enough. This is such basic blue-pilled philosophy. How often have you heard women excuse cheating on their man for these very reasons, whether they’re legitimate or not? “Alpha” is cringe because it’s an archetype. What an easy question, I’m glad you asked. Firstly, casual sex isn’t “safe”. Even when using condoms (which don’t prevent herpes), you still face the risk of STD’s, pregnancy, and violence. The risks that women face are inarguably greater than the risks men face, which explains a lot if things. Secondly, the words “consensual” and “fun” are irrelevant. I can “consensually” smoke crack and have “fun” while I do it, this doesn’t mean I should. Hope that made things clear for you.

The same reason people invest cash instead of holding onto it. Inflation depreciates cash, so you should trade it for something that doesn’t depreciate.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/20 12:54 AM

Because high value women trade commitment for sex, which they don’t receive from these men.

It’s almost like you figured out exactly what people want to change. To be clear, I’m not even blaming women.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 05:59 PM

Sure. What if people stopped wanting to adopt kids? That’s a personal choice. We should, as a society, have an interest in people having meaningful social connections and interactions.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 05:38 PM

It’s almost like there is something called Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs. Why should I care if the bottom 30% can’t afford to eat anything but bread? You think your cynicism and lack of empathy makes you smart, but it’s embarrassingly stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/20 05:20 PM

Yeah. I think there is something novel about marrying young, although the chances of divorce is drastically higher. As long as you know what you want, you don’t have to fuck your way through your 20’s before you settle down.

There’s a high opportunity cost to the cynicism of red pill. I’m not willing to pay it because I think it outweighs the benefit. I’d rather have high expectations, be let down and get back up, than to have this nihilist worldview that keeps me miserable.

Of course you want to. Novelty is always appealing. Personally, I couldn’t do it. Choosing meaningless sex over a loyal chick is disgusting, pathetic, and shows that you have no discipline over your own life whatsoever. It might as well be an IQ test.

Nah. I’ve dated fine ass chicks who were with me when I was nothing. In fact, they were probably higher quality than the girls I see now, even though on paper my SMV has skyrocketed. Some, probably. You can make this same argument, easily, for women too though. You can use this meme of “social conditioning” as an excuse to blame society for anything. It’s an immature worldview.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/20 04:33 PM
2

Yeah, dudes can’t use the wall as an excuse to be out of shape, fat fucks. The idea is that, all else equal, women tend to select for status and men tend to select for attractiveness. Unless you debunk this idea, which you really can’t, you can’t argue that men and women peak at similar times.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/20 09:13 PM
7

It’s not about women being more or less selective. Men are unhappy that women don’t select for objective value, even though women think they do. It’s a push and pull on the narrative of social economy, women insist their tastes are the correct ones to have, and men trying to convince them otherwise. I dont blame women, they’re just human and most humans are dip shits. Men are dip shits too. Everyone’s a dip shit.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/20 03:55 AM
1

Yes but keep in mind that high value women get taken off the market earlier. Unless you date younger, which you should, waiting until you’re 40 to settle down is a great way to end up with a 20+ N-count chick.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/20 02:59 PM
1

“No repercussions” only if you’re unwilling to look hard enough. Again, this is the textbook definition of rationalizing.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 10:31 PM
2

Of course you think so. It’s much easier to rationalize behavior than to enact the discipline needed to change it.

Neither does degeneracy. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 08:47 PM

Heroin “makes people happy”. This level of social analysis is garbage.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 05:56 PM

Because it’s bad for marriage and therefore bad for society. People should act in a way that promotes strong social bonds rather than pissing them away for momentary gratification.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/20 02:35 PM
36

Most things are never just biological or social. Yes, as everyone pointed out, it has biological roots. What most people are missing is the fact that humans use our partners to signal status. Women like tall dudes because they can “show off” their boyfriend and he can elevate their position on a social hierarchy.

/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/20 01:31 AM

I disagree. Women seem to like sex more only in some relationships, probably because ONS are usually pretty risky for them.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/20 01:25 AM

This is true.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/20 01:22 AM
4

Oof you were so close but you missed the point. Women don’t select for objective value. The idea that objective value could be contingent on what women like makes zero sense. That’s literally the definition of subjectivity. Imagine thinking you solved the question of “what is virtue” with the answer “it’s whatever qualities women like in men.” Lol. Some of what women select for (generosity, industriousness, etc.) is objective value but they select for it because it benefits them and many things …
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/20 12:13 AM
3

Real men aren’t pressured into prioritizing thots over a solid chick because they’re not worried about being “alpha”. If you think so, ask yourself why someone like Jocko Willink is married, or find me someone who is “alpha” if he isn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/20 04:08 AM

No one is surprised that humans prefer attractive humans. The argument is that hard 5’s should stop thinking they’re entitled to professional athletes.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 09:08 PM
11

You’re not arguing that women are stronger, you’re arguing that women are the more privileged sex. Which is probably true and explains many things. Secondly, your argument doesn’t follow. If competitive forces that encourage improvement towards “alpha traits” exist for men but not women, it suggests women are coddled and definitionally not the stronger sex. Shitpost is shitpost.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 07:13 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/20 01:27 PM

I’ve always found that if you’re less than a 9/10 (ie banging 7’s and above weekly) you’ll only be banging really attractive girls in LTR’s. High quality chicks don’t waste their youth fucking randos unless that rando happens to be someone super famous / high value.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/20 01:18 AM
1

What do you mean “having hall passes with their wives”? I agree. To get that quantity of ass, you really do need to be 1% of the 1%. The meme that the top 20-30% of guys have that isn’t real life.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/20 10:06 PM
1

Because as a guy, I give different signals to pretty girls than to ugly ones. I also like to be left alone though, so I assume other people are the same way. I’d guess this kind of explains it.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/20 02:41 AM
6

I agree with this take but there is 1 misconception. Women who want high value men should wait for sex because this act filters out all the guys who are just trying to fuck. I would have a hard time taking a girl seriously if we fucked in less than a month of talking. That being said, if she puts out quick for other dudes but not for me because she wants to play games, that’s actually worse than her just being quick. I think this is the scenario most people are talking about.

Tbh he sounds immature like a lot of dudes who first get into TRP. I was for sure. There are bad pieces of TRP advice and I think this is one of them. Many TRP influencers realize they have to promote this cynical view of dating or the business model dies. Be patient with him. “It’s just your turn” is kind of a damage control rationalization that gets used in case things go south for whatever reason.
/r/RedPillWomen15/02/20 04:05 PM

Imagine calling someone an “ugly incel” and thinking this is a unique and original response. You’re over 30 and you have the maturity of a child. Sterile women can be so nasty.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 11:34 PM

What are social hierarchies other than the society’s aggregate preferences for a group? If one woman likes strong men, it doesn’t indicate much other than her preferences, but if women are categorically preferring strong men, there is a hierarchy that exists in relation to a man’s sexual value being at least partially predicated on strength. My point is that hierarchies are inevitable, not that they’re bad, and that women interface with certain hierarchies regardless of what they overtly think o…
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/20 07:04 PM
1

Well, 1). I am straight and 2). Beliefs should be measured by actions rather than words. The action of deeming some men better suited for sex than others shows that women do implicitly believe in some hierarchies, at least personal ones, although they pretend they don’t.

Umm, no?

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 06:29 PM

This is 100% true. It’s funny how women (especially the younger ones) tend to be the champions of social progress. Ironically enough, they seem to dislike men who aren’t positioned relatively high on the social hierarchies they pretend to want to dismantle. Further proof that most belief systems are merely signals of tribe loyalty.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/20 06:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/20 05:04 AM
1

I don’t really know how to respond to vague assessments and anecdotes as they relate to your subjective experience in society. Obviously a woman with a gambling problem is bad with finances lmao. She might never be “used up” in the same sense but you sure as hell won’t let her borrow your credit card. You can not date guys who slut shame, and those guys can not date sluts or girls who have a problem with slut shaming. There, everyone is happy. Have whatever standards you want and accept the cons…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/20 05:00 AM
3

Sex is a high risk activity. As is gambling and binge drinking. Gambling occasionally is fine but yeah if you gamble away your house, your value has “depreciated”. Unlike gambling, I don’t believe the link is causal, just a correlation. Guys really can tell the difference between fast women and normal women. Similar to how you think sexually depraved men are low value, men view promiscuous girls as already damaged. The funny thing is, you’re making the same argument about men but you fail to rea…

This is a synthesis of all of the most boring and unoriginal talking points.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/20 02:11 AM

It’s more of a correlation than a causation. Damaged people, those with esteem or impulse control issues, tend to be more promiscuous. This isn’t even an RP idea, I’ve had doctors and nurse practitioners say this.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/20 02:10 AM

Your entire post history is just bitching about men. No wonder they don’t like you lol
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/20 01:29 AM

“Men need to get a grip” Imagine thinking that 50% of the population is actually this unhinged. Cynical people, like yourself, project the bitterness and blame of their own failures onto the rest of society as a ego protection mechanism. This speaks to your immaturity. Honestly, I pity you. I do hope you grow out of this one day.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/20 01:27 AM

“There’s no benefit to disclosing” There’s also no benefit to disclosing that you cheated on your partner, even though telling them is the right thing to do. I love these big brained cynical takes. “wHaT iF i JuSt Be A bAd PeRsOn”

Oof this. I never thought about it, but “LOL INCEL WHO CARES ABOUT N-COUNT” is the female equivalent of “Fucking bitch you’re fat anyways”
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/20 11:20 PM
17

You’re completely correct. Honestly is always best. You’ve found the contradiction. Either A). men who value N-counts aren’t low value, or B). pushing them away isn’t an issue because they are low value. The answer seems to be “don’t break up because the guy, whether high value or low value, is the best she can get at that moment.”

How is your range 18-43 lol

/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/20 06:33 PM

Most men watch porn because the industry works by hooking pre-teenage boys and rewiring the way their brain’s reward system relates to sex. Imagine getting kids addicted to crack and them blaming them for using crack as adults.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/20 06:30 PM

This whole thread is so fucking cringe. Obviously women age worse than men on average, but men can age worse if they don’t get their shit together early on.

Depends. There are 2 types of RP men: tradcons and “enjoy the decline” guys. The latter is probably what you’re talking about. They hate marriage because they don’t see a sufficient supply of marriage-worthy women, so they’re taking the 2nd best option in the modern dating climate which is easy access to sex. I’m sympathetic to both, but if you’re a woman I’d say it’s best to select for the tradcons. The “enjoy the decline” guys seem to be former tradcons who got burned because they had too high…
/r/RedPillWomen24/01/20 12:46 AM

Why are you giving “disposability” any weight? Who cares if a woman treats you as disposable? It’s like throwing a way a winning lottery ticket. Women’s behavior shouldn’t influence you. You’re a man. Aside from that, I’ve found it’s way less drama to be upfront about not wanting a relationship. But yeah, also don’t feel bad about pumping and dumping as long as you weren’t deceptive about it.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/01/20 09:45 PM

The same guys who want women to fuck on the first date aren’t the same guys who want women to wait. This isn’t rocket science..
/r/PurplePillDebate14/01/20 06:16 PM

That’s a great anecdote my guy. The fact that they even need NDAs to prevent discrimination lawsuits proves my point that discrimination is against the law. Not to mention studies that even show young women out earning young men and companies like Google overpaying female employees.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/20 07:29 PM

They are. It’s literally illegal to discriminate based on the same job. If you actually believe this is real, you haven’t even tried to look at the study.

Weight is mostly diet. Cut carbs, junk food, soda, alcohol. Eat vegetables, complex carbs (if you have to), lean meat, fish, and dairy. This is easy mode. If you want to go further, try a 16 hour water fast. For workouts, you should be lifting weights, but at least 20 min of cardio every day.
/r/RedPillWomen04/01/20 05:02 AM

What do women want from men? Success. It doesn’t matter what field, but they want you to be good at something valuable, even multiple things. And not just “good” but the best, actually. How do people become the best at anything? By definition, it is the people who care about improving the most at something that become the best at it. Right? So you don’t have to be the best, but you have to show that you have a mindset that can even conceive of being the best at something.

ONS is a high risk investment with a low return on the part of women. If we look at the exchange as a zero-sum game, I am the beneficiary. How is it critical for be to benefit from an exchange and laugh at the poor fool who was dumb enough to make it? Your argument is garbage.

You literally said men generally don’t care about age in an LTR. I was kind of joking by offering an anecdote, but you’re literally wrong and you can find statistical data to prove it. This is basically a shitpost

This is cringe and doesn’t really make any sense. Yah women would be fucked if men didn’t give them rights. That’s exactly why women didn’t have rights until men gave it to them. But on a reflective note, dudes you can’t bitch about “evolution” if you’re not adapting to shifting cultural environments as they relate to mating.

When dudes brag about your numbers, remember: 1). They’re probably exaggerating by 50% or so 2). Their number says nothing about the quality of girls they’re getting. Sure, maybe they’ve fucked 75 (cough 50) girls, but probably 40 of them were 4’s or lower. That’s gross.

People make 90% if their judgments about you in the 1st 10 seconds so 1) and 2) are key Talk about their interests and get them talking about themselves I think all 3 of these whole true for interacting with women

Nothing of value was lost.

I have to disagree with this. Self-deprecating jokes, done well, project confidence because you’re willing to put your flaws on display without being insecure about them. On the other hand, it’s obvious when a cocky and arrogant is compensating. It’s the difference between overt and subtle communication.

You did. I had a similar issue with my ex, she kept her ex on the hook for basically a year before I found out. When I did find out, we had already signed a lease together. After another year I basically had to tell her that I had no feelings for her anymore. It never got better.

Not everyone can be a chad. I agree that self-improvement is important, but if you’re 2/10 genetics, the extra 3 points won’t get you to the minimum threshold. I’m guessing that’s why guys are butthurt about chads. Sometimes it sucks that nature doesn’t select for one’s characteristics. Evolutionarily, that’s pretty devastating.

You’re literally just saying “men use relationships for sex and women use sex for relationships” in a more complicated way. This isn’t a new idea but it doesn’t necessarily validate the idea that women don’t have casual sex. They broadly do, just not as much as gay guys.

Ah, back to the old “B-b-but the top 1% of women have less power than the top 1% of men!!” argument. Nobody really buys this meme that everything will be A-okay with the top 1% of women holding a greater proportion of positions of power. Yah let’s pretend normal distributions don’t exist for the sake of this point 👍🏻 If women perceive men the way you tried to describe, that’s a flaw in their faculties and doesn’t speak to the distribution of men’s qualities. The difference is the way certain qualities manifest themselves. Women don’t care if you have a 155 IQ if you’re a doormat or a failure, but that doesn’t mean IQ distributed on such a way.

Young women have less incentive to be interesting since they can get by with their looks more easily. That’s not to say young women are largely uninteresting, but it explains some of it. I mean, most young women have hilariously predictable political views. Not trying to come off as sexist. Women are better social creatures than men are and part of that is learning to conform when necessary.

I love this meme where people pretend to need studies to answer age-old observable phenomena. It’s really not hard induct why people prefer risk aversion and stability in a life long partner. In financial theory, investors always take the lowest risk between two options if the returns are the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/19 04:52 PM
1

That’s an interesting study but you’re cherry picking a single point that doesn’t even help your argument. Sure, some people wouldn’t date a virgin (note, it’s mostly women). This doesn’t speak at all the fact that chastity is still selected for over promiscuity.

Literally the first google search. https://www.askmen.com/news/dating/science-discovers-strange-link-between-promiscuity-and-divorce.html This isn’t news. My point is that the lower numbers are skewed because those folks are getting divorced as a result of marrying too young, although the trend is still obvious. We can even get into promiscuity and mental health, but you’ll lose that conversation too.

Logic my dude? It’s really simple. If we’re trying to understand the correlation between N-count and divorce, things like “married too young” create white noise within the sample, because they also correlate with divorce. This is just controlling for variables. Science 101.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 10:17 PM

Actually, no. You use the words “logic” and “cognitive dissonance” but none of your “logic” actually follows. That’s okay. I don’t date men, so the standards that men are held to are not under my control. If women choose to collectively select for low N-count men, that is their choice and maybe they should. But currently they don’t and men do. Stop pretending I magically pulled this double standard out of my ass lol
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 02:13 PM
1

Well, obviously child molestation is wrong, but it doesn’t come close to explaining female sexual behavior broadly. Again, you’re kind of just trying to find a way to blame a small group of terrible men for the lifelong behavior of women on a societal level. Not a great analysis.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 12:21 PM
1

I actually agree that pornography is probably bad, but this idea that “we” blame the victims of rape and acid attacks is so far off base that I don’t really know what to say. In what world is western society collectively blaming the victims of acid attacks? This simply does not happen. Sure, we suggest women shouldn’t get black out drunk by themselves in public at night, but this is hardly victim blaming. I don’t think women having a lot of sex makes them damaged. Obviously sex is good and healt…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 11:46 AM

Sure you can offset a risk, of which there are multiple, in a variety of ways. But by making this argument, you admit that it is a risk in the first place. Why would I try to offset for unnecessary risks instead of just avoid them?

Men can take women’s side on a multitude of issues. I do, in some ways. But it’s obvious when a man doesn’t have a spine and thinks agreeing with women will get him laid. These people do exist.

“Young people” can be used as a proxy for “low N-count” in those studies and they get divorced for reasons related to immaturity. If we removed that group (young people) entirely, it would paint quite a clear picture of the correlation between N-count and divorce rates. Obviously this has to be age adjusted or it doesn’t make sense. A 50 year old with an N-count of 10 is less promiscuous than a 20 year old who has already banged 8 people.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/11/19 11:08 AM

They’re not. Women are affected by the “slay queen! You’re only as young as you feel!” meme. Plenty of women hit the wall, or go way past it, before they realize they’re on a fucking clock. Sometimes I bitch about women, but then I remember that if I were a woman, I’d be terrified to not be wifed by my late 20’s. Society has only magnified the “haves” (most of which are you women) and the “have nots”.

And of course women can lie about N-count, the same way men can lie about their income or whatever. Men have a greater variance of outcomes. Feminism exists because women compare themselves to the top 10% of men, instead of comparing the bottom 10% of men to the female mean. Sorry there aren’t more female CEO’s, but you wouldn’t be one of them anyways so let’s not kid ourselves. The ceiling is lower but the floor is higher, women typically don’t fail as hard as men can.

Low value women shame low-value men for being “entitled incels”. Yeah, they probably don’t have to, but they do. I’d say low-value men get shit on way harder by society, or maybe women have a smaller variance of value and therefore their population of low-value women is smaller.

I don’t think women really need to differentiate themselves. As long as she’s hot, dudes will want to smash. Women tend to have higher standards for sexual encounters, which means a man needs to convey his ability to meet those standards.

/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:59 PM
2

Yes. There is a laundry list of qualities that both sexes can and should look for, but it goes beyond the scope of what I could provide in a single reddit-post. Also I wanted to speak on sexual behavior because that seems to be the primary contention of this sub.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:58 PM

I don’t disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:56 PM

Obviously you can enjoy sex without commitment or commitment without sex, but we’re speaking broadly here. Could I be more concise? Yes, but I tried to condense large concepts into a simple reddit post.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:56 PM
5

Thats why I wrote: If you’re not the highest quality man that a woman can attain life-long commitment from, she has no reason to alter her sexual behavior for you. This is where guys get mad because they refuse to believe that a women’s interest can be completely indifferent towards them.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:54 PM
5

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to imply men don’t like commitment. I do, personally. Obviously women like sex to. My main point is both sexes have an aspect of the relationship that they basically gate-keep.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 08:52 PM
0

I have to disagree with the premise that society is the monolithic construct that chooses its own moral anchors. There are plenty examples of Christian athletes and mega-church pastors who are in the 1% of the 1%. The media industry profits off of sensationalism, usually the dumber the better. I don’t think this can be conflated with whores being glorified en-masse, although I would agree that society is more tolerant if these behaviors than it has been traditionally.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 07:19 PM
6

Right. You could replace “low N-count” for any other variable selected by high status men (education, attractiveness, intelligence, etc.). And I do agree that less women are interested in fucking strangers than TRP suggests. A lot of women do genuinely like commitment at an early age, probably because they’re more mature.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 07:16 PM
8

My point here was that promiscuous women aren’t concerned with the opinions of low-value men. Yes, the dynamic is a bit different if we assume there is already romantic interest between the man and the woman.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 07:14 PM
2

Btw idk if that “you” was figurative or not, but I’m a guy lol. I agree with your comment though.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 07:08 PM

This is true. Low-value individuals, both men and women, have an interest in dismantling whatever hierarchy put them near the bottom.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 07:06 PM
4

My point is to find common ground where it can be found. I understand there are people on the fringes who can’t be reached this way, so I’d rather not try to.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 06:13 PM
3

That’s pretty anecdotal. Honestly the only people who “like” whores are the whores themselves and the guys who want to fuck them. Yeah, Cardi B glorifies whores, but society doesn’t. Plenty of rappers glorify drug dealing and street violence but it’s not glorified by society.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/10/19 06:12 PM

Yah virginity is weird, but I think it’s dumb as fuck to accept a woman with an N-count over 10. Just as it’s dumb for women to accept a guy who can’t get a salaried job. 2-6 seems to be the sweet spot. I’m not asking for a girl to be chaste until 25. But it’s really not hard to keep that number reasonably low if she’s capable of maintaining monogamous long-term relationships.

No. I love the struggles of being a man. There’s something thrilling about the challenge of pursuing women and it’s an easy motivating factor. Women are more or less predicated on their appearance, which means you’re fucked if you have bad genetics. This is somewhat true for men, but men are judged more on whether they succeed or fail in their endeavors.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 08:57 PM

Right but my point is you can be athletic 6ft @ 180 or ripped 6ft @ 200. Both are seen as sufficient options by the majority of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 07:47 PM
3

I think even that is too narrow. For example, women don’t want an obese man, that is clearly a negative, but women also don’t necessarily want a guy who is completely jacked. Some women prefer an athletic look, some prefer the bear look. We know what characteristics are bad for both sexes and people should be expected to avoid those. But once you’ve done that work, you can more or less be yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 07:28 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/19 06:34 PM

I mean, you could say the exact same thing about modern feminism so this is a pretty vacuous claim. There are women who can’t leave the house without covering their face. This is pretty crazy in the comparison that we don’t have perfectly gendered CEO representation.

I don’t like these questions because jaded people will always answer them in a frame of “one sex being desperate and materialistic unlike my sex”. Married men are happier and score higher in a whole ton of metrics. The same is similarly true for women. It is no surprise that the anti-depressant rate for middle-aged women has skyrocketed at the same time divorces and childlessness have increased. Yeah. I agree. It sounds like we agree that a higher N-count for women is correlated with the inability of a woman to secure long-term, monogamous relationships. I suppose you could also say that a low N-count for men is a result of men “settling” for monogamous relationships because they don’t have a ton of game. Women give sex in return for commitment because it’s a good strategy for them.

It’s hilarious that you think high N-count people have more sex when the inversion has been proven to be true. Long-term couples regularly fuck 3+ times a week and I guarantee most singles aren’t doing those numbers. Variance =/= frequency my dude

First, I disagree that high N-counts can correlate with things I would personally select for in a partner. Your argument is that we should selectively ignore correlations because things are always correlated to other things. I didn’t miss your point, this is just a silly argument. This is a bad argument. Causation is actually entirely irrelevant here. Obviously ice cream sales don’t cause shark attacks, but the existence of both let’s us know when summer is. The goal isn’t to avoid promiscuous women, it’s to avoid damaged women. Whether promiscuity damages women or that damaged women tend to be promiscuous doesn’t matter. The existence of one characteristic points to the existence of the other.

I don’t disagree that porn is probably damaging to men. This is something tradcons or whatever have been saying for decades though, and it’s always been met with charges of “trying to control women’s sexual behavior”. Also I think almost all men watch porn. It’s hard to not become accustomed to it when most men were introduced to it by the age of 13. That’s my biggest issue with it. I don’t care if men watch porn but the industry needs to recognize and take responsibility for the fact that 13 ye…

Women pretend to hate men because they think it makes them look independent. Men hate women because they’re jaded from rejection. They were either born with fucked genetics and their hate is a result of an “unlevel playing field” or they view self-improvement as unnecessary or unfair because they don’t want to engage in it.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/19 05:25 PM

Maybe. The chance of locking anyone down is pretty low. I think marital happiness peaks for women (and maybe men) at ~2 partners. So sexual reservation, not necessarily virginity, is somewhat of a good predictor of monogamy.

No. But people expect consistency. If she was sexually dull in her past and sexually dull in the present... that’s kind of to be expected. If she’s sexually exciting in the present, you can probably guess that you’re not the first one she’s been like that with. In both cases, everything is priced in. The issue is if people are more sexually liberated with previous partners and perception does not align with reality. It’s like pretending you’re a wealthy man to attract women when you’re not. It f…

That’s the point. Low quality men want to make hierarchy impossible because they know it puts them at the bottom. RPers “nice guys” on the other hand are mad that their position on the social hierarchy isn’t where they perceive is should be. Both are forms of a will to power.

I think the right is better for both parties, if laws are set up that keep things like domestic violence and marital rape in check. Really it depends what you value. Women are more free now as a result of progressive politics, but they’re not happier. Maybe freedom elicits a sense of purpose which is a greater pursuit than happiness.

This is true. I’m a reasonably good looking guy and approaching women IRL is 10x as effective as any dating app. Just gotta get over the confidence obstacle. I think the issue is that straight guys (myself included) are probably some of the worst people when it comes to picking up social queues.

Yikes. In my case, it has shown me how embarrassingly jaded people can be, and how rife with misandry the online feminist communities are. But to be fair, if your opinions changes greatly because of hysterical sycophants on an anonymous internet forum, you’re probably an idiot. Yeah, some RPers hate women because of their own inferiority complex, but your post is a great indication of one of the problems between the sexes - You’re a sexist bigot and you don’t see anything wrong with that.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/19 06:37 AM

Depends how much you consider “game” to be manipulative. Is learning charisma manipulative? Obviously it’s not “exactly” the same thing, but I don’t think it’s wrong for men and women to learn strategies which improve their dating potential. I think of emotional manipulation to be more of a dating phenomenon, where someone is invested in you and you leverage that against them to pull at their heart strings. Redpill tactics don’t have quite that leverage.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/19 09:07 PM
3

It’s not quite that black and white. Mid 20-year olds aren’t exactly allergic to successful men. Sure, you’ll probably look like a creep if you’re trying to hit on 18 year olds if you’re 30, but that’s for other reasons. I don’t know why you’re bringing up menopause. It’s well documented that women’s fertility sharply declines after 30. Obviously women can still have kids until menopause, but it gradually becomes harder and the likelihood of birth defects starts to skyrocket.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/19 06:28 PM
5

Yeah, but it’s not meaningful in any capacity. Sexuality isn’t a valued characteristic. Nobody prefers a 38 year old over a 25 year old just because she’s hornier.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/09/19 06:25 PM
3

Sure. I think most people agree that women have the advantage until 30 and men have the advantage after 30... given they’re not failures. Most people who bitch about women’s SMV are pre-30 guys and post-30 failures. I do understand how annoying it is for young women to act like their SMV never changes. It’s also cringe for 30+ woman who try to argue that “women’s sexuality peaks at 38.” It’s like... yeah, maybe. But from a perspective of fertility that ship has sailed.

That’s why alimony and child support became a thing. You can secure a SAHM’s (or dad’s) financial security through the legal process. Obviously there are problems and no system is perfect. The trade off is getting to raise your kids instead of being forced into corporate slavery while someone else does. People say “but it’s a choice to work”. Is it? Families have required dual incomes for a while now. Social pressure pushes women into the career life since society is so hostile towards SAHM’s. A…

Raising one’s own children has been polled to be a very important issue, especially for traditional minority demographics. Even Elizabeth Warren wrote a book on how corporations fucked families out of letting one parent stay home with the kids. Honestly most current societal phenomena can be vaguely associated with Nietzsche’s idea of “the death of God.” Science has more or less invalidated the concept of religion and as such, all “religious” concepts of things like purpose have been abolished as well. There’s no more religious inscription on people’s hearts, no more instruction for women to become mothers and for men to become protectors. Women responded to this overthrow of their ostensibly subordinated status by trying to become men…

You don’t need to prove causation. Whether promiscuity causes marital dissatisfaction doesn’t change that it is a reliable predictor. Obviously ice cream sales don’t predict shark attacks, but the occurrence of both can clue you into the fact that it might be summer time. It is likely that childhood trauma has a correlated / causal relationship with promiscuity. This is just another variable that can be relied on as a predictive value and it doesn’t negate the promiscuity variable whatsoever.

I don’t think women are evil, I think they’re self interested just like guys are. The issue is that sometimes relationships have competing interests and women are the #1 way for guys to fuck up their lives if they don’t tread with caution. I reject the idea that you have to have some infantile / naive state of puppy love in a relationship to be happy. Both sides make calculated decisions when it comes to dating, whether they admit it to themselves or not.
