Actually, common law marriage was eliminate in most state with constitutional amendments that banned same-sex marriage. It was a deliberate move on the part of Conservative Christians to eliminate any form of state recognized state partnership except marriage. Obergefell v. Hodges may have overruled the ban on same sex marriage ban but it didn't reinstate common law marriages in states that previously had the ban.

Ya, I won't listen to these guys. A micro penis is defined as less than 2.75 inches. You don't have a micro penis. I've got a feeling that your insecurities are all inside your head. Choice isn't the third factor. My point was that the difference in average wage gap is likely due to choice instead of discrimination. However, you are correct. In addition to working part time, women often choose more flexible careers which typically pay less. This is harder to model than the drop in labor force participation.

The mimimum wage was $0.75 an hour in 1950. That is roughly $7.37 in 2014 dollars or about $15k annually. I highly doubt that 90% of Americans are earning less than $7.37 An hour. Even if you included those not in the labor force (children, the elderly, and stay-at-home parents) in the calculation, I still doubt that 90% of Americans make less than $7.37. Positive assortive matching is a real phenomenon which is negatively impacting income inequality. However, it is far from the only cause.
