3	Why women hate needy men Nothing in the sense that You need to do bad things or act criminally or offensively in any way. I mean it in the sense that men should be sure of themselves. Obviously an actual “bad boy” has his own insecurities and uses anti social behavior to cover it. Women mistake bad boy behavior for competence all the time because a bad boy is trying to feign competence by acting secure when he’s really not. 99	Why women hate needy men I used to be in this category. For me A lot of that neediness came from attachment anxiety. I was severely abused and neglected as a kid and spent most of my childhood alone. No friends, no real family to speak of.
