Just something to think about, but if you check the latter box and something happens with your job, you are still stuck paying. (Or if she has a significant windfall, you still pay) My lawyer's advice was to always make sure Alimony/Spousal Maintenance is modifiable.

It highly depends on the judge. You can provide evidence of her past employment, skills, education, etc to argue for what her income should be. Any competent judge would see what she is doing, especially since she only recently stopped working. Either way make sure your final paperwork makes alimony “modifiable.” This means as soon as she gets a job, or if your income goes down significantly for some reason, you can adjust it and her tricks won’t work.

Can be stress, but can also be because the stress is causing you migraines. I only recently found out that headaches are only 1 symptom of a migraine. I was having a weird disassociated feeling, along with memory issues, and brain fog. Finally went to a doc because I was worried something major was wrong. He prescribed me some preventative vitamins/supplements and another pill to alleviate symptoms when they come on. It’s been a complete game changer!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
