Cashed a 401k. Slept in my car. Got a job eventually and worked my way up.

Agree completely. Glad you made it out when you did.

In apocalypse now, they show a scene with a letter that accurately depicts my feelings. I’ll never doubt my decision. I could wax platitudes all day. But god damn if that wasn’t empty.

… I feel like this could open up a bag of worms. You say no shared bank accounts, but what you don’t know is that some states treat all bank accounts as marital assets. Meaning, if you made a single dollar during marriage and contributed it to an account … it can be divided. Also, your TSP and basically any investment. I would offer them a thousand dollars. You will easily pay 3k in retainer.

Cyclical. Some months are fun. Others are lonely. Can't always win.

Marriage? Definitely done for. Never again. Nope. Against my odds. I am not built for it. I don't like commitment to anything. Contracts hurt.

It's interesting, right? Whenever we lose something, or our lives change.. we try to plug that hole with something else. For men, it's porn, work, gym, alcohol, sports etc. External validation is the perfect distraction. For them, it's almost always a train of weiner or just one single locomotive who they can convince to take care of them. I mean I get it. It's nice having someone there. The biological clock is ticking. We're not getting any prettier. As far the primal instinct to protect, there…

Lmao “the data”. Ok. Co-parenting is infinitely better than a single, stressed out, and tired mom. I would say it is better than being married sometimes. Usually the dad is out working all day and can barely see the kids anyway… with 50/50 he is forced to be a parent and spend much higher quality time with them instead of just tolerating them lol.

Just to emphasize the important: pre-marital assets remain pre-marital assets... but if you make a contribution towards them while married - they become co-mingled.

Glass pan. Lay down a few sheets of phyllo dough. Layer with chicken or beef. More phyllo. Layer with cream. Cheese or thick or strained yogurt. More phyllo. Layer with jalapeños. More phyllo. Brush top with butter. Slice it into triangles. Bake at 385 for 15-20 mins. Alternative: Philly cheesesteak mix. Tldr basically a crispy flaky lasagna type of food. Great for meal prepping and snacking.

Would legal seperate on day one be more powerful than a prenup?

There were some parts I appreciated about her but that is total objectification. Doing it with her was mostly awful and I’m glad I got rid of her. Decent body but vile soul.

Oh maybe I didn’t say it right but I have one now. Just don’t see the point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
