Your organization is now called scouts of america. With girls and all. No the program name was changed the organization is still the Boy Scouts of America. Besides Venturing has been co-ed since 1998 and Sea Scouts and Exploring programs have been co-ed since the 1970s. Yes, but those are in areas with very low populations Nope, St. Louis has the council that has one of the largest amount of people in the Venturing program. I am in a low population area and Venturing isn't big. Sea Scouting has a ton of girls and that mostly down on the coast.

I am going to defend the name change as an Eagle Scout and current leader. The organization is still Boy Scouts of America but they never addressed having the organization be the Boy Scouts and a program being named the Boy Scouts. It basically getting rid of the New York are you talking about the state or the city issue.

This is correct. I was denied the rank of Eagle because I went to a Lutheran church at the time and that was not sufficient proof for the catholic leadership that I believed in God enough to be morally sound to represent an eagle scout. Your leadership were assholes. My Troop was 80% Luthern, with a Catholic Scoutmaster, with 2 Hindu Scouts, and in a Methodist church and we had zero issues. Side note. If they create new problems they can rack in more money. The first female black superhero I came across was X-Men's infamous "Storm," and while she is fabulous, her super skills were just no match for Wonder Woman. Um as a comic book fan Storm is an Omega Mutant. While she wouldn't best Wonder Woman in a fist fight but her powers could beat Wonder Woman depending on location.

If I recall, it's 97%, which is within the margin of error for the study I'm thinking of. And that 97% could also account for things like going to extra conferences or extra certifications. My Mom didn't do a lot of those because she liked her summers off and wanted to spend time with us kids.

My parents would've been thrown in jail for what I did. In 3rd grade I messed up and forgot that my Mom had the day off so I accidentally went to my babysitters. Well when I discovered my babysitter wasn't home I walked in the rain about 50% of the 2.8 miles when a lady from my church saw me and asked what was going on. I explained what happened and she drove me home. She didn't call the cops on my parents or anything.

The groups like adventuring (which I believe you have to be 16+ to join) are co-ed It is called Venturing and you have to be 14 or completed the 8th Grade and it is co-ed along with Sea Scouts and Exploring.

There is a new pilot program called STEM Scouts for boys and girls grades 3-12. And Venturing for boys and girls ages 14-20. The BSA is expanding/creating new programs but I don't think the traditional "Boy Scout" program will be opened to girls.
