When she was undecided, that means it’s YOUR time to decide what it is you want. But I want to know your opinion on why you chose to leave rather than say you wanted a relationship with her. Could’ve told her straight how you want things to be if she wanted a relationship, and that if she’s willing to be that way for you, then you’ll give her the best relationship she could ever hope for, and she likely would have complied. What I learned from this is that it doesn’t matter what you’re saying, b…

I maintain that religious people contribute considerably to the low N-counts. Fair enough, this is a good point. I wonder how much of it is actually due to religion vs the person themselves though. I got real deep into theology and even religious polemics tbh lol (this was last year anyway, been a while since I've last looked at that stuff), and I found that Islam has an effect on promiscuity independent of culture, social mobility, etc. whereas other religions did not. This would suggest that (…

So like literally the worst place you could be at in terms of promiscuity of people lol. You might be a good-looking guy, too. The biggest factor affecting your ability to have sexual relations with others is literally your environment. That's what I've found.

But in terms of body count, this lets you know that most of them actually aren’t virgins until marriage. If they’re willing to have sex outside of marriage once, they’re willing to do it again. Which in the case of OP let’s us know that any skew towards a lower number is definitely not because of religiosity playing a role. Religious people are a minority, especially those from more strict religions like Islam and Hinduism, and virgins are still not common even then.

https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0003122412458672 Sorry bro but Muslims are the lowest of the group and about 61% according to this study have had premarital sex. I don’t want to say religion doesn’t matter, but it’s definitely not playing a huge role...

Alright let’s straighten this out first: Mentally unstable women TEND to be promiscuous, but that is ALSO correlation, not causation like you alluded to (i.e. “prove”). Also, using the word “prove” in this way, as in this “proves” that all the unstable women are promiscuous, and then using that to say that all studies showing promiscuity in women to be strongly linked to marital dissatisfaction/dissolution are therefore ONLY with mentally unstable women; this is a logical fallacy I can’t even be…

Precede. Any “rationalization”, as you called it, came before. You can’t use an equivocation fallacy to subtly redefine what is isn’t one’s mission or purpose or what trp even teaches, much less what masculinity is. This is especially true considering you’re female. Just because you are married doesn’t mean you weren’t/aren’t promiscuous. If this is how you are with your husband, that you CLAIM to be married to, then you aren’t doing a very good job at being a woman, sorry to say. And just as an…

Am not your sis. Something called figure of speech. You claim that you don't need to rationalize your feelings and then proceed to do so. Be a man and own it without whining about women getting upset so you need to blah blah blah... *precede, not proceed. And the problem is, you will automatically assume that what is being said is wrong if it isn't explained super simply, and this is only because you don't want to admit to yourself that promiscuity is wrong/bad for relationships, as evidenced by…

Idk about that sis. Saying promiscuity is bad, particularly in women, causes severe social backlash, and this is especially true if it's a man who says this. You see it here right now where women are insulted and essentially endure social terrorism simply for wanting to be feminine. If a man made a statement like that, he would be character assassinated immediately. That's where much of the bitterness comes from on the rp. Having the scientific literature to fall back on allows for more objectiv…

[BEGIN] Oxytocin (and vasopressin) are chemicals that are released during sexual intercourse (1) that form pair-bonding and monogamous behaviors in mammals (2). At baseline, females tend to have higher levels of oxytocin than males along with more oxytocin receptors (3, section 1.4). We know that women who have impaired oxytocin/oxytocin receptors typically have trouble with social relations and are more likely to have marital problems as well (4). In addition, inability to form social attachmen…

But I'm supposed to trust a random internet person's opinion on neuroscience? I'll give you something you can work with a little more. Of the available research (it's hard to find, partially because people don't want to study it, partially because they're trying to bury already-available data), you search for "marital stability" rather than "pair-bonding". So instead of "effects of sex on pair-bonding", you would instead look up "premarital sex on marital stability". Or "cohabitation prior to ma…
