9	Redditor is fired for taking day off—without giving notice—to go to the Women's Day march. When I worked at Walmart there was a hard working kid there that eventually let his head inflate from all the praise. He basically started acting like he owned the place doing what he wanted when he wanted with the mentality of, "I do too much here, they can't fire me." Well one day the store manager got tired of all the complaints and told him if he didn't start straightening up and doing his job as per policy he was gone. She was a no call/no show and told her boss if she didn't let her slide on her shitty decision then she doesn't support women's rights, escalated it to an argument, AND it was all in front of customers.
