Housing is more expensive outside of the cities in my experience, transportation cost is higher. Medical is based on your insurance, which is a grab-bag wherever you go. For example, I recently bought a new death-trap shack of a modular house for half (72k) of its listed value (160k) at auction in a low-population area.
