Yea, lean muscular sounds like exactly what I’d want to go for

Thanks I will check SS out. I do intend on giving whatever program I choose my all. Trust me, I’m a type A. But I don’t want to overdue it because (in my completely subjective opinion) too much muscle on a shorter frame doesn’t look good aesthetically.

That’s doable, thanks. I don’t expect to read it all and then become an expert just trying to figure what the initial investment will be.

About how long did it take to get through all the sidebar material? On the to do list.

I see what you are saying. But the thing is I’m starting an 80 hour a week career soon. I won’t have time to read and synthesize information about fitness. That’s why after I achieve brain dead mastery of the basics, I need a brain dead plan/program I can just follow to maintain the shape I assume starting strength will get me in.

That’s the thing though - I don’t know what figure out as you go will entail. I can’t stay on SS forever it sounds like. So then what next?

True probably very boring but I’m about to start a seriously busy career. Thank you.

I haven’t looked at starting strength yet so I don’t know what it entails - but what do you do after you “complete” that basic program? I don’t have any specific weight lifting goals inside other than look good - I’m improving my self genuinely in other aspects of my life. Could I simply stick with a beginner program like SS indefinitely, assuming it gets me in the shale I desire, to maintain that level of fitness?

What kinds of coats would you recommend then?

Fair enough. Thanks for the insight.

Man I’m so confused. I feel like I read on TRP to keep texting to only logistics but you mentioned those value sharing texts. And tbh you saying avoid texting (something I can understand) seems at odds with all that texting advice. I appreciate the advice I’m just so confused. In my situation she had an exam coming up so I said okay well let’s swap numbers and plan something for after that. Otherwise I agree in person planning is better.

Can you give examples of the “different ways”. I’ve asked out a girl around my school, we exchanged numbers but when I tried to arrange something via text she didn’t seem interested and didn’t suggest an alternate. So I never texted her again. That was a couple months so. If I see her in person around school - how would you handle it?

Duly noted and I agree but unfortunately I don’t think I’ll ever get to experience a scenario in which both me and the girl are saying “fuck yes”. My standards are not even high, believe me. Which is why I refuse to lower them.

Yea I like that. Subtle but meaningful difference in phrasing. Nice.

I’m planning on subscribing to TRP but because I’m on mobile right now and this only came up in my random feed... what would you say in lieu of “can I take you out some time”

I appreciate your measured and nuanced advice. Thanks for not screaming at me like some other morons.

Right, I recall one of the books talking about the spinning plates theory. It makes sense. I'm trying to get away from oneitis. The other stuff you say, I agree.

Google cosmetic leg lengthening, if you don't understand it already. I'm curious to know your thoughts on it given your sentiment. I've been considering it.

There's a girl a year under mine here I've been eyeing. I'll ask her to lunch and see how that goes. I'm not even nervous because I'm kinda numb to rejection. We'll see how it goes.

Not really overweight, its just that my thighs are genetically really large so trying to cut them down. But I will work lifting in now.
/r/TheRedPill01/08/16 01:23 AM

Nah, I don't care, but its still disrespectful all the same in my eyes. Any 5 girls? Or any 5 girls I'd be interested in? I thought a big thing on TRP was that men need to be the selective ones.

Thanks. No excuses, I could easily incorporate it in, I'm just very focused on wiping excess fat out.

Don't worry, I'm considering adding it in.

If that's what you rec', then that's what I'll do. You know more then me.

Thanks. I'm leaning towards telling them to fuck off rather than ghost, as for right now. Thanks again.
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 11:52 PM

Yea. Do I tell them to get lost, fuck off, never respond to them again, etc. etc.?

In regards to orbiting - we worked on the same project a year and a half ago. I talk to this woman in particular maybe once every 3 months. Dunno how that is construed as orbiting. Not sure whether to refute your omega claim or not. I'm a respected and prominent person on my campus. I just don't have luck when it comes to women. Not denying that I need experience/failures. I'll consider lifting.

Mind linking the post?

I'm basically numb to rejection at this point. Silver linings.

Could you tell me more about "how to close the talk"?
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 11:21 PM

I don't lift, I know this sounds weird but I don't think muscle would look great on my frame.

You're not wrong, but it is quite difficult for me to find the time to go to places conducive to meeting women/people. I think I expected interest in me to increase due to my lifestyle modifications, without any effort on my part in terms of approaching. What should I tell these "friends?" How would you go about it?
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 11:12 PM

You seem pretty knowledgeable - could you comment on how I should approach the women I mentioned in the 3rd paragraph?

Nice catch, thanks. Like I said, the confidence has definitely come. Its just frustrating that it hasn't translated into results.

I'm not against that, but I assume the only way to facilitate that would be online (given how constraining medicine is in terms of who I see on a daily basis), which for inexplicable reasons I tend to avoid. What's your rationale for asking, I'm curious.
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 10:41 PM

I will look at this. Thank you.
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 10:38 PM

Only because of the lack of results at this point. Maybe I'm being impatient. I have no doubt that I've improved myself.

No, I cannot say that I am (remember: my time constraints). Is there anything I can read up on about this or is this one of those you have to just go out and do it?
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 10:29 PM
2

No, you're right, I have no clue. I was considering a girl a year below me, next time seeing her just going to point blank ask her to lunch (as opposed to "getting to know a girl and then asking her out")
/r/TheRedPill31/07/16 10:29 PM

I wish you were right, but gun to my head, I wouldn't believe in it. Though I don't plan on changing my lifestyle even if I feel that way.

Back in the day, I did do some kickboxing. Nowadays I weight train and do HIIT.

You literally had a girl with mutual interests asking to hang out, you got the hang outs, multiple dates and made exactly nothing happen. It wasn't for lack of trying. She expressed interest in going to the observatory and even said she was free the next weekend without prompt. Even an idiot like me can recognize the hint drop. I said yea, we should check it out. A few days later I sent her the link for tix and suddenly she changed her mind. A week or two later she says "Aren't you going to take…
/r/askTRP17/09/15 04:22 AM

Thanks. I'm not scared to ask her. I already have. Its just that everytime she sounds like she wants to do something she bails last minute.

As opposed to the FIRST time we went? And uh, does this mean I shouldn't ask her to go to the ballgame?
/r/askTRP17/09/15 03:09 AM

I have been trying that, just no in relation to women. My roomate is good at pissing me off and recently I've just told him straight up what I think. Like if you're going to have your gf over for 2 weeks, shoot me a heads up beforehand instead of walking in 3am on a Monday night? As for fiction, unfortunately my field of study precludes that much extra curricular reading. Science is nonfiction though, I guess.
/r/askTRP17/09/15 03:08 AM

I didn't really see the runs as dates. Does it really matter all that much that I asked her to do something after a few times of running?
/r/askTRP17/09/15 03:06 AM

I'd have to see what effect if any the increase in height has. I don't feel I need any of those things you mention. How does one get serious? I can read the sidebar stuff all I want but its hard for me to translate that stuff into living my daily life
/r/askTRP17/09/15 03:04 AM

You mean the sidebar on the main TRP sub? I am in the process. Anything in particular you recommend paying special attention to?
