Ok, thanks. I didn't want to click and give traffic to a shitty website.

Why is that? Never heard of that site.

I have seen a few people that have appeared sober, but have later stated they were drunk and didnt remember anything from that time period.

That's the issue. People need to let other people handle their own shit. I wouldn't assume a woman is not as capable at handling demeaning remarks, as a man would be. Sure, it's ok to speak up in defense of someone, but it should be for the same reasons, regardless of gender.

Maybe women should "man up". Welcome to the real world, where everyone has to deal with comments and views that they dislike. You want equality, then act equal. Think men never have to deal with unpleasant remarks at work?

Cite your scources about rape claims not being investigated because of what the victim was doing at the time. I think you're full of shit. Sure, the case may be dropped after some investigation and not finding evidence, but that applies to any crime.

Ok. I will take your word for it. I am not going back to that sub. It kind of reminds me of a room full of crazy people trying to compete to get their crazy ideas out all at once.

How do people that need trigger warnings survive in this world? There are so many people with differing opinions. If being reminded of something can send them into such an emotional state, I believe they should be in some type of psychiatric hospital. The whole thing could also just be bullshit and a way to "shield" people from differing opinions, or getting upset that someone disagrees with them.

Ah, I followed the link in the post. I don't see a list of frequent users though, but glancing at post titles makes me want to never go there again.

I just checked and it seems AMR is now banned.

Conscription sucks. I do know that sometimes it is needed. If it is needed, I see 2 ways it can be done fairly. One would be to conscript both genders equally. The second, would be to not allow women to make any decision about the use of a conscripted military. That means any women in government that would deal with military issues would either not be allowed to vote on those issues or replaced by a male. The second option is ludicrous. The first option would probably be best. Or we can go with …

What an entitled person. She thinks she can say she deserves things, without even knowing the situation of the people she feels owes her something.

That is debatable. The study a lot of people reference for those numbers is being questioned because it could be biased, as it was simply a survey. Even if men are in the minority, why wouldn't we help them out as well. Why does it need to be a gendered issue? Are women more important?

Why not just sexual assault survivors? There is no need to add gender into it at all. It's just a way of trying to make it a gendered issue, when there really doesn't need to be one.

Wal-Mart even has the lead-acid batteries. The repackaged the acid in them, but doesnt make it any harder to get out, just easier to put in the battery.

Not really, you do have to convince some people the problem existed in the first place. Never mind, Facebook is a thing, and we know how stupid people there can be.

What makes you believe she was raped? Just because she said so, doesn't really mean she was. The problem with false rape allegations, is we need actual proof. Sadly an accusation seems to be all the proof needed. If it were any other crime, people would be up in arms if peoples lives were effected the same way as it is for false accusations.

There is a difference in stating an opinion and being a mentally abusive twat. I almost lost my mother because her mentally abusive ex-husband made her think that was the best option. He never once had to state that he thinks she should commit suicide. You seem to be missing the whole point of the discussion and blowing out of proportion. Mentally healthy people don't simply follow what other people say, without question. Someone suffering from mental health issues is a different issue. You seem…

That's my point. Unless there is evidence forced her somehow (blackmail, serious threats), there really is no saying that the teacher isn't responsible.

Agreed. Unless there is some evidence to show the students forced her into those actions, not a simple, they asked the teacher for sex, therefore they are the aggressors, then the defense is silly.

That's reasonable always. It's just the whole situation is not right, from the facts we do know.

So you're fine with a person in a position of power to have sex with someone that they are in charge of? If it was some random woman and some random teens, fine whatever. I can't see any way why this situation would be considered ok.

She was in a position of power over them and an adult. Consensual or not it isn't right. Would you be saying the same if it were a male teacher and female students?
/r/MensRights19/02/15 04:51 PM

Only if the same were to apply were the genders reversed. If you think the defense of a male teacher paint the female victims as the aggressors, fine.

Thats why I try and use feminism as a movement and keep it separate from feminist. Too many times people play the not all feminist BS. Though, like the article in the OP, feminism can be shown as what it is. Maybe if "feminist" actually looked into what their movement is doing, they would be a little more careful about claiming feminism is good.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
