Why is it wrong to prefer to have traditional gender roles?A leftist believes in proletariat ownership of the means of production. Whether or not a state should have anything to do with it depends of which leftist you ask. "Regulated free market" is an oxymoron. These are definitely things that everyone should learn to define. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/11/21 05:33 PM
Why is it wrong to prefer to have traditional gender roles?Leftists are not liberals | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/11/21 04:42 PM
Why is it wrong to prefer to have traditional gender roles? They continue this push today, and leftists support it because, like corporations, they want government to assume the role of child rearing for a giant nanny state. Leftists and corporations are fundamentally opposed to one another on just about everything and none of what you said makes sense. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/11/21 01:32 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick?If the statement is different in wording but not in meaning, I didn't misread. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/10/21 03:34 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick?plenty of evidence I'm not here to analyze poorly written Twilight fanfics. I didn't say that women are attracted to shitheadery. I said that they're attracted to shitheads Are you really going to pretend that you didn't know how that would be read? Unless your intention was to say that men in general are shitheads, I'm not buying it. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/10/21 03:11 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick?my statement that women chase after shitheads Is that not also a positive statement that comes with a burden of proof? I have more of a case than you do. Do you? You haven't made one, unless you think begging the question counts. This is where I'd introduce to you the concept of Occam's razor. It makes more sense to assume that women who end up in relationships with shitheads simply did not know that he was a shithead at the time. Awful people can't be awful all the time. Let me help you. The truth is the truth, I agree. Does that make your perception the truth? It may also be possible that bitter dweebs just have a habit of projecting their own self hatred onto those they envy. But heaven forbid we allow ourselves to entertain ideas that might hurt a man's precious feelings. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/10/21 12:38 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick?"If" is the key word there, isn't it? And now you're begging the question. An anti-vaxxer could use the same structure of thought to defend any of Andrew Wakefield's claims. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/10/21 12:29 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick? When all the men who make such claims are constantly dropping their own red flags left and right, that's all about women wanting "shitheads" and not about these boys just being bitter dweebs. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 05/10/21 12:08 AM
Guy on the left will help with household chores, comfort you, listen, nurse you when sick, and is loyal and loving...guy on the right will cheat, gaslight, abuse you but is really exciting and the best sex you'll ever have, who do you pick?Or maybe that's just something a dork who doesn't get it would say | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/10/21 11:47 PM

Reproductive rightsThanks, sis. As a pro-choice woman myself, women are clearly still fighting for our rights and freedoms, especially when it comes to bodily autonomy and reproductive rights. But nobody is truly free until everyone is. Making the rights of one sex directly dependant on the rights of the other incentivizes everyone to do better. I would even go as far as to say that valuing competition over cooperation is the root of most if not all major issues we face. | /r/MensRights | 11/01/21 06:47 PM
Reproductive rightsGive men an equal amount of time to consider financially aborting as a woman is allowed to consider an elective abortion. In the states with six week bans, the great majority of women won't know they're pregnant until the deadline has already passed. To reflect the realistic consequences of these bans, men will not be granted any period of consideration. In places where a woman has a more reasonable amount of time to act, let a man be given the same number of months from the time the mother can … | /r/MensRights | 10/01/21 04:29 AM
Genuinely curious if women can understand where men are coming fromIf we're talking about potential LTRs (I'm assuming so as the post questions why those men are being made to wait) I should sincerely hope that you like the person you're asking out for coffee enough that the time spent together is the reward in that scenario. When I ask a guy out, chances are I already thought about sleeping with him, but in my mind the desired outcome of asking him out and the desire for sex are two separate things. | 8 | How old were you when you first noticed men looking at you sexually?I remember being maybe about 7 or 8, at the mall with my parents and grandparents. My mom and dad started rushing me out of the store quickly. I could see that they were acting strangely, with urgency, though I couldn't understand why. Grandma asked why we were leaving the store so quickly, and my parents wanting to be vague told her that a man was "looking at me in a way that wasn't nice." I didn't realize what that meant until recalling the incident as I was older. What really gives me the cre… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/11/20 04:31 AM
Does sending unsolicited dick picks or otherwise opening with a very sexual message ever work?Found another unsolicited pic sender. Would anyone else like to come forward? | 9 | Does sending unsolicited dick picks or otherwise opening with a very sexual message ever work?Mkay but is being a total slimeball to 1000 people worth finding one person to appreciate your slimeyness? Because if so, that may say something about the sender's self esteem. You doing alright, man? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/10/20 11:52 AM
Do you think women are naturally more attractive than men?Since I see a lot of comments asking for a bi person's opinion, my answer is no. If you like women and the features you find most attractive are feminine, you will think women are more beautiful. Extreme societal pressures and standards may be an influence as well for some people. Personally, my "type" if you can even say I have one wouldn't fall into those categories so definitely don't quote me as I'm not the bisexual spokesperson and my experiences of attraction probably aren't the norm. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/06/20 06:06 PM
If a girl dresses slutty shes not doing it for herself.I dont remember where the quote came from, but it went something like "If all the men in the world disappeared, women would dress 1000x sluttier." and I felt that. What often stops me from fully satisfying my desire to dress according to my own tastes is knowing that the top I find aesthetically pleasant and expressive of my tastes will show enough skin that I can already smell the nonsense that awaits me should I dare to wear it out. | 1 | To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack? The illusion of choice and freedom where in reality there is only pressure and guilt. | 1 | To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack?Theistic fundamentalism is in my opinion a poison to the body and mind. Movements following in opposition to that forced "lifestyle" all the way up to today's body positivity movement could have been great. Then neofeminism and sjw outrage culture sinking in it's talons meant that men were excluded and the flow of oppression was just reversed when it should have been halted. At least that's my take on the bigger picture. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/20 01:36 PM
To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack? No, the sex is for fun. The way a person can communicate and reassure another, that's what has meaning to me. The movements that intended to shed our anxieties and insecurities from the old fundamentalist ways left men behind. It's not the prime directive but it's there all the same, and that's what the question was about. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/20 01:03 PM
To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack? It's not what I set out to do, nor was it something I was ever against. Never saw body counts, high or low, as something that matter. Are you asking why I've wanted to sleep with people in general? Same reason most people want to, I guess. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/04/20 12:42 AM
To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack?I don't understand why. It's not learning how to fuck, it's learning how to please that one specific person. No two people are the same and the woman needs to put in effort too, regardless of experience. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/04/20 01:58 PM
To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack?I'm pretty open about my slut history and I can see that many of them are intimidated by this. Not "Oh boy, a slut! Now I can add another notch to my belt or do (x) thing that my ex girlfriend never let me do!" No, the first reaction is wondering if they can satisfy. If they'll be good in bed by my standards, if I'll remember them and if it'll be a good memory. This is surely where the big deal about body counts come from, that and outdated, false equations about character. In a nutshell, I teac… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/04/20 01:18 PM
To promiscuous/high-N women: what unique insights to men men do you have that non-promiscuous women and other men lack?As a super slut, I'll say not to worry about it. Every person's body and sexuality is different, so in every new situation I find myself having to teach him and learn about him anyway. Experience doesn't help in that aspect and a lack of it does no harm. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 29/04/20 12:05 PM

Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsPorn brain is gross, but instead of banning porn we (men and women) could get serious about sex ed and communication. Just because the situation isn't working in my favor doesn't mean I'm about to tell others what they can and can't do. Snobby people are gross, but instead of violating human rights or acting like entitled brats, we could think of something less repulsive. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 09:31 AM
Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsYounger me was a very frustrated girl going through a phase where sex was pretty much used as a method of self harm. It's part of the reason why incel mentality is so frustrating to me. Unhealthy attitudes regarding sex and relationships can and will hurt people. But that also includes porn brain which makes many men sexually selfish. Imagine the incel that finally does "ascend" only to lose the girl for being what I call a "toilet man" | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 09:23 AM
Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsMany women are, yes. I'd say that's true of most people regardless of sex. All the same, there are multiple factors at play and not all of them are women's fault. Not all are men's fault. Sometimes nobody is to blame, and sometimes everyone is. Whining about the big bad vaginafolk and suggesting they be stripped of their rights as OP does is still nothing more than cowardly. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 08:59 AM

Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsBeing sexless and being part of the incel community are not the same thing. One comes and goes for a number of personal reasons, the other is likely from being a piss sock. But even if we are to act like they mean the same thing, do you honestly believe that that's solely because some women are snobby? How about the weakening grip of religious fundamentalists? Yes, now that it's socially acceptable for people to have sex before marriage, or even not get married at all, folks have to make themsel… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 06:38 AM
Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsThere's a difference between calling out narcissistic women for being unreasonable and suggesting that everyone is entitled to love and sex. Even with no shortage of women like that, most guys aren't incels and that should tell you something. I'm not denying that there are some who struggle through no fault of their own. That said, I'm also not going to pretend that the incel community isn't largely made up of dudes who just have the personality of a piss-soaked sock. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 04:11 AM
Society works best when the base assumption is men and women do deserve sex and relationshipsThe mental health aspect goes both ways. Sure, we can ask for people to be reasonable with their standards, but standards will still be present. Beyond that, you're not asking for love. You're asking for a pity fuck. Suggesting that people sacrifice their happiness for the sake of folks who more often than not just cockblock themselves is unreasonable and unsustainable. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/04/20 03:34 AM

Why women give men bad romantic adviceDidn't say you were. Just noting that it's a common generalization seen on the extreme end of that side. From my own position, I can see why many fall for it. But if we're here to fall back on them, I question what you hope to get out of PPD. | -1 | Why women give men bad romantic adviceBy "moving forward" I was referring to emotional intimacy, not physical. There's no need to get too emotionally invested if our desires in life don't align well enough. I just don't want to hurt anyone or be hurt myself, y'know? I do consider sexual compatibility to be important as well, but the biggest factor in that is a shared level of consideration. | 6 | Why women give men bad romantic adviceWomen who expect a man to "just get it" are childish and you don't want date them anyway. Any healthy adult knows the value of communication. If the topics come up with someone I see as potential partner, I take the opportunity to communicate what I want. If he's thinking what I'm thinking, he can consider what I've said and decide if it sounds reasonable. I can do the same with his expectations and goals. | 5 | CMV: Men who want to date kinder women should volunteer moreI took this as more of a "If you want a partner with this character trait, you should try to nurture and strengthen that trait within yourself first." Which is solid advice that many men and women alike need to hear. Think about the target audiences for 50 Shades or any harem anime. | 0 | What excites women sexually is in direct opposition to what makes for a good LTR partnerAnd I know many criminal and thug females who pull more dick than the average woman. Lots of people go through a phase of wanting the bad girl/bad boy. It's not exclusive to one sex, but most of us end up growing out of it. If we're talking about adult women, no, we generally find those loose cannons to be annoying. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/04/20 06:20 AM

If women are so attracted to dominance and fear-inducing behavior, why do they seem to hate men so much because of it?Because context is important. If you can slap me with my consent in the bedroom or are willing to square up in my defense, I'll appreciate it. If you slap me without the fun times consent or look like you're about to try and fight me, I won't appreciate that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 31/03/20 11:08 PM
| 1 | What double standards between men and women *should* exist? We already have examples of modern polygamist societies - Saudi Arabia, Egypt, or some sects of Mormonism Having multiple sexual partners or a high body count is not the same thing as having multiple spouses, so what the Mormons do isn't really relevant. I'm not sure why this was mentioned at all. In the West people who practice polyamory are usually poor examples of general fitness, low fertility, and socially unstable. In some cases one could say it's ideal. Just because there's less pressure to commit to marriage and parenthood doesn't mean it isn't still desired by many. | 1 | What double standards between men and women *should* exist?People with more access to education and opportunities are also having nsa sex. If you're a woman in a society where all you're allowed to be is a wife or mother, there's not much to do besides push out babies. In fact, you'd be expected to do so as often as possible. Hence I'd view this as correlation but not causation. In a free and equal society, we can all choose as many partners as we'd like without needing to commit to marriage or parenthood. | 6 | Is this a double standard? That's definitely rape. 1. He was too intoxicated to give proper consent and 2. Even if he hadn't been drinking, it is so sooo wrong to just try to harass someone into having sex. That's not giving consent, that's being bullied and coerced. If the man refuses to wear a condom, you shouldn't be screwing him regardless of who pays. And if you're not mature enough to make decisions about your sexual health for yourself and see it as "a favor" to men, you're not grown enough for sex. Growing up in a religious and conservative environment, I was always angry at being seen as delicate thing needing to be preserved. I initially became a feminist for the promise of empowerment, but the more they demonized men, the more they also painted me as a victim. It's here that I finally feel understood.
