Just took a dive… Wow. The overwhelming amount of virtue signaling is ridiculous. Plus it’s filled with ridiculous gems like this one… …like every guy just jumps up and down the moment they realize it’s Valentine’s Day. Maybe the person they’re insulting never had a real reason to celebrate it, and instead of being a good partner and motivating them to notice the beauty of the event, they just scream “LeAvE HiM!!11!!1” I don’t understand how a “female dating strategy” sub is filled up entirely w…

I’m trying to see it as a learning experience (I keep saying that, but it’s true). I want to try it and see how it goes for myself, no major expectations. So, you think being the first to contact is a good idea? What should the timing be, late at night? Should I ask her to hang the same night if the conversation goes decently well, or is that too “nail-on-the-head” and will she see right through it?
/r/askTRP28/08/18 10:08 PM

Keeping frame is, personally, one of the easiest things for me. And no one will care, since the most I want is to make her a plate. I’m not investing anything in this, except as a learning experience.

For me, I always go horror. I’ve probably seen The Conjuring a dozen times over the past few months because of that; it offers great jump scares and lots of empty room to talk without missing any key details. Plus it’s just a great flick. 10/10

This is actually great advice. Just got out of a long relationship (not my choice) and I’ve been struggling with moving on. It helps to think about what I really need as a man, and to realize my strengths without anyone else’s help. That’s the best place to make decisions from.

Imo, you had a perfect chance to take her home that night but chose not to. Other than that, the other guys here are right. You’re overthinking it. Just keep the aloof attitude and don’t care about what she thinks of you.

I’ll be nicer than the other guys here by just saying, this not at all a healthy way for her to handle her problems. If I were you, I would at the very least leave for a few days and give both of you some space. If she decides she was in the wrong and wants to make up for it, go back to her. If things haven’t changed, you’ll know what to do. Best of luck. Just remember that being in a relationship doesn’t mean you’re “winning” - leading a fulfilling life does.

TRP isn't about cancelling out your human emotions, it's about moving past the guilt and doing what's best for you in the end. Whatever that could be. I personally think you did very well, and hopefully there won't be bad blood between you two.

The problem is that if you can figure out the plausible deniability part instead of just acting holier-than-thou, your options severely increase. It's not every day (or week, or month…) you meet a girl that's instantly DTF with no other strings in her life attached. While these can (and should) turn into plates, they're few and far between. So, OP's question stands: how can this be dealt with?

Dude, from your description, you seem like just a kid. You've got a million different options, and this shouldn't be the end-all-be-all for your future. Don't fuck yourself up physically to get into something you're not ready for.
/r/askTRP30/03/17 04:11 AM

You have to realize that nothing is more important than your health. Overworking yourself will do more harm than good. If you don't come to the minimum by the deadline, think of it as a way to give yourself more time to work on yourself - I wouldn't expect myself to be able to run an Olympic marathon next month. These things take time, and you have to think about whether or not you'll be ready in time.
/r/askTRP30/03/17 04:09 AM

Four days out of the week is perfect. Six is overdoing it a bit - muscles need time to rebuild themselves. Off days are just as important as workout days!

You definitely shouldn't be starving yourself, that's a whole other can of worms. Absolutely unhealthy! Keep the protein if it won't expire in the next couple of months. For now, just worry about losing the weight. Don't eat junk food. Care about what you put into your body and you'll see the results! Just don't get impatient and never stop trying. I'd suggest taking up running. It's satisfying, you feel great afterwards, and it does wonders for weight loss. Just remember not to push yourself to…

This is the difference between cutting and bulking. If you're overweight, you "cut" the foods that have been storing up fat in your body. You eat much healthier foods and skip the heavily-carbed meals. Bulking happens after you've lost the fat and want to gain weight from muscle. This is when you start using protein powder and other supplements. This is what I use. It's a solid, well-reviewed source of protein that I buy from my local GNC. Nothing incredibly excessive. I usually drink one servin…

Those supplements are usually taken when trying to bulk. You're trying to lose weight, so I wouldn't be taking any of it. Continue doing exercise 3-4 times a week and fix your eating habits. If you really wanna take supplements just for the hell of it, get a good daily multivitamin that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. And GNC isn't that bad; I get my powder from there and the product is solid.

To be a devil's advocate, what kind of message would he be sending by not walking her home, other than acting like a straight up child for being too butthurt he couldn't get his dick wet? Good on you for taking the time for asking for improvement, but if you already know it's oneitis then just keep reading. You seemed to do the right thing. The only thing I'd have done differently is agree and amplify after she says the whole "won't let you touch my pussy" thing or whatever. You can't catch every fish. This isn't a frame issue, dude. If anything it's you taking your frame way over the top. Relax more, and care less. When you whine, you show insecurities and cracks. Be solid, no matter what happens. Including if she wakes up and doesn't instantly want to fuck; shake it off because it does not matter.
/r/askTRP14/01/17 05:35 PM
1

Dude. You were pissed because she didn't automatically wake up horny? She even initiated after you asked! Like bro, come on, you're being a bit of a bitch about this. Nowhere in TRP does it say that at every single opportunity does your LTR have to drop panties for absolutely any occasion. It seems that you're just upset she didn't want to the first time (and if I just woke up and smelled your morning breath, I probably wouldn't be feeling many tingles either.) This is just whining. I'll give some advice. You've said she'd never cheat. Cool, then you have nothing left to bother yourself with. Just forget about her for a while and talk to other chicks. Obviously still hold conversations, don't just shut her out, that's just being an asshole. But don't go out of your way to be extra nice or special. If/when the time comes where she isn't dating him anymore, ask her over. If she agrees, you're in. If not, stop worrying about it and find someone else. Easy as that. In the meant…

Honestly, my advice is to go hang out with her for the hour. What harm could it do? I seriously believe you're overthinking this. Go, have fun, keep frame and act cool, and make sure to get physical. Seems like you've already got the "dark triad" shit going on, which is good. Couple this with an IDGAF attitude and you've got a certified pelt wetter. Be cool, be confident. Approach often. Never care when it comes to failure or success with women. And remember: If you believe it, they will too.
/r/askTRP27/11/16 09:53 PM

Honestly, the second chick just seems whiny. You're a lot better off. What you're suffering from is oneitis. You're stuck on that ONE GIRL, and because that ONE GIRL didn't reciprocate your feelings, then that must mean ALL GIRLS will never bother either. This is all a fallacy. Keep reading, specifically on "abundance mentality." I think that'll help you get to where you need to be.

Women are flaky. Going through the same thing with another chick I've gotta see every day. Constantly flirting, always seems DTF. But, when I try to reciprocate, she backs off and acts SUPER weird/awkward. At one point she actually called me out for flirting back, got super frustrated with me. She's flirting for attention and beta bucks. Never give her anything; be hard to get. Dismiss/ignore her attempts at flirting. If she's anything like I've seen, she'll just want it more. Then, if/when you …

I can relate. I've been lurking for the past few months. I don't try and see TRP as anything more than a self-improvement subreddit, and if you wanna believe in this stuff, then you should too. I'll quote a line I've read here before: "If Ms. Right walks through the door, do you know whether or not you'd have the mindset to attract her attention?" Use TRP as a way to fix your game and yourself. Don't overreact to little stuff, and keep your frame. Not just for Ms. Right, but for yourself as well…

I'm 80% sure it's from Barney Stinson (HIMYM). I watched that show religiously, and despite its blue pill plot, Barney's character actually influenced my courage when talking to girls. I still absolutely intend to one day attempt to pick up a girl wearing a scuba diving suit.

You saying that you're "just waiting to get bored" means you don't need to be in an LTR. It sounds like you want the fun without the commitment, which is awesome. I'm in the exact same place. But for her sake don't lead her on, break it off, go lift, spin some plates, enjoy being single. Besides, break-up sex is the best.

Emotions are near impossible to sincerely get rid of, it's a fact, we all do it as humans. But the difference with us is that we use logic to remind us something like this will not work. It's especially important to not shove your concerns down and ignore the problems. Be honest, split the LTR if it's too much, and move on. Because if you don't, it'll be her giving you the same speech months or years from now.
/r/askTRP09/10/16 06:47 PM

Replying with the results: total failure. BUT, to be fair, I expected it, since we've been friends for a long ass time. Plus I really enjoyed putting myself out there and going for something. But I'm not disheartened, it wasn't my fault or hers or TRP's, just the wrong situation. I'll definitely be using the method again in the future.
