Many of us have been in a similar situation. All you can do it stay strong and keeps your eyes open so you avoid being a white knight in the future. We all learn this lesson the hard way. For taxi/ridesharing, probably not. Worth checking out local pizza places though, see if they need a delivery driver. Most of them just care about 18+ and no record. Hourly rate isn’t much, but one of my buddies used to make $100+ a night in tips

Used cars are good because they make sense. Some wear and tear, a shorter lifespan, a few dings and an ugly paint job- but a correspondingly lower price. Women make no sense. We’re supposed to commit more time and money to women with higher mileage, fewer years to spend with us, and often splitting their time taking care of kids from prior relationships (and that are often unwilling to have more). You wouldn’t pay more for a used car. Why pay more for a used woman?
