I seem to notice a trend of autism being underdiagnosed in women and ADHD being underdiagnosed in men (particularly in where I'm from). The quiet and less social behaviors commonly associated with autism are seen as "preferable" in young girls while high bouts of activity are seen as "preferable" in young boys. He doesn't really like talking with anyone in his close circle about things like politics or anything he deems in that sphere.
